I really need to learn how to do that bodyslam attack (jump up and slam down). You should also do the super attack while in super Rick form. It makes short work of bosses and damages anything on the screen
I think that some game developers need to grow a spine, I would tell every one where to go and what to do when they get there. honestly just because a few people are offended by a game dosent mean that they should have it removed from the market or cause the developer to tone it down. I would tell people not to buy the damn game and miss out on the awseomness. it's our god given right as gamers to have a gory super nasty ultra scary hell of a time, it's the developers job to deliver us this joy.
Wow... what can I say other than this Game scares me shitless. the cut scenes really get to me though cause well I really dont know, but I blame my over active imagination. lol And if they do come out with another SplatterHouse I'll try it... Maybe. this is bad enough in terms of scary, but a SplatterHouse for the 360, Ps3, maybe the Wii, the graphics would be awsome and the scare factor would be intenseified.
Yeah, Namco's been tooting that horn for a while. First considering it, then pushing back. Manhunt 2, from Rockstar Games is already under fire from Ireland and Britain and an Adult Only rating is guaranteed for American release. I think Namco's holding its breathe until they see how Rockstar does.
Speaking of violent two words Dead Space I bought it two days ago, what really caught my eye (aside from the graphics and numerouse ways to die) was that it was only rated "M". I've played it numerouse times already, but with in the first few levels there was more gore and violence thrown at me than I thought possible. I honestly believe that it should have been AO (Befor ESRB updated) and this really is a good example of a bad rateing system. I still believe they should use AO to it's fullest.
very true Sony has more balls than Rockstar games that had to water down Manhunt 2 so it wouldn't be AO i know Dead Space is extremely violent that's what makes it awesome
I think the main reason most games are rated T, is because the developers want to make it accesible to every one in that age group and up. True they should take advantage of the AO rateing but I dont think they are willing to do that simply because they wont have a wide range of age groups to market this game towards. when you break it down it's all about the Money.
Medievil is for kids, how dare they do such a thing with SplatterHouse!! When I think SplatterHouse I think of Intense Gore, A scare factor thats through the roof and balls to the wall excitement. I mean if they just go and degrade SplatterHouse to the scariness of Medievil then they are out of their minds. SplatterHouse is a game that gives you night mares makes small children wet themselves and grown men run in fear screaming into the night. But it's all up to the developers dont disapoint me.
I would have picked up a copy of ManHunt 2 but when I saw some footage and learned that they did water it down, unlike the first ManHunt I decided not to waste my money on it. I think the game developers should look to Sony for a good example, if Sony likes it then they go for it regardless of what every one else thinks.
I've noticed thats one thing about Sony that we can all rely on is they have no shame what so ever. Sony could care less for what the media or any other group has to say about what games they releas into the market, because if it'll bring in money it's a sure thing they'll do it regardless of what is said about it.
I know and that sucks hard, but who's to blame? it isnt the developers, cause thanks to the ESRB we have a system in place that informs the consumer of what it is they are going to buy such as "M" for mature or "E" for every one. I think that if some one was to ask me where this problem is comeing from I would point my finger at the parents. Further more you know how people go out and kill people and use video games as an excuse, well if they cant tell the difference it's off to the crazy house.
no i had internet problems but buy a PS3 it's worth every dollar ( now for $399.99 ) the trailer for GOW3 doesn't show much but it shows how Sony's ace in the hole looks like
but now a days games can be more violent like Dead Rising and Ninja Gaiden 2 and both still get M rating but in honesty the ESRB are doing a bad rating system but still developers still create extremely violent games and there's nothing people can do because it's not fully proven that a game can force someone to imitate it and people will eventually see that as for Splatter House it's said the new one will be as gory as ever
Nintendo would have more than likely caved into to the demands but thats because Nintendo has a reputation to keep. Look at Mortal Kombat for the Super NES, they replaced the Blood with Sweat (A classic example of something being "Watered Down") and when you preformed a fatality no blood at all. Sony has Balls, plain and simple. They told the church "hey guess what Fuck you, you didnt develope or design the game piss off" they did'nt really say that but they didnt remove the church level either.
True, but aslong as there are stupid people in society then it'll be hard to get a game like splatter house released in it's full glory and not some tonned down Medievil type shit. I think since no one even cares to take action against this gameing injustice it leads me to think they dont care aslong as the game makes money and I'm sure it will, but it will only be what it is, not what it could have been. I would take advantage of the ESRBs AO rateing and turn SplatterHouse into a master piece.
yeah very true and look at God of War the most violent game with alot of nudity and alot of other things that's showing they got balls became you never get a game with blood , gore intense violence ( ripping out the cyclops eyes is always brutal ) strong language and alot of nudity you just don't find them alot
God of war was pretty violent for its time, but Dead Space tops it easily. Dont get me wrong I've played and beaten both G.O.W games and enjoyed it cause unlike most games today G.O.W has titties, strong language and is not for the faint of heart.
well than prepare for an uproar because games are going to be violent more & more because the company ain't making games for them there making them for the fans and parents should know better than let there children buy or they buy violent games for them and some stores shouldn't sell them for kids but there's stores like gamestop which that won't sell a game like gta4 the kids not even with parental supervision
you shouldn't say Sony since they have the most violent game today, God of War, a game with alot of blood, lots of gore, lots of death and lots of nudity, also there's Resistance which offended a church in Manchester for having a church in the game we're there was alot of killings, they demanded a donation, the game to be taken of store shelves or the church level be removed but Sony didn't and won't do it
So many monsters! It's almost like Castlevania... except it's in a house... and not a castle.
I love how once you are knocked down, all the monsters will give you room to recover. They are such gentlemenly monsters.
I really need to learn how to do that bodyslam attack (jump up and slam down). You should also do the super attack while in super Rick form. It makes short work of bosses and damages anything on the screen

Man those hands @ 3:58 remind me of a more twisted version of the Wall masters from Legend of Zelda games.
4:34 Brazil flag?
when? and can you give us proof? this game was my favorite game when i was a kid xD
After you do the choke hold how do you do the body slam on that monster? It looks awesome but I can't figure out how you do it.
(angrily) MORE SPLATTERHOUSE GAMES!!! I NEEEED!!!
Wow... what can I say other than this Game scares me shitless. the cut scenes really get to me though cause well I really dont know, but I blame my over active imagination. lol

the monsters at 1:20 remind me of the lickers from Resident Evil
Question, if you fail to rescue David, does the final fight become tougher?
Kinda odd that this one doesn't feature any items to wield.
Damn, dude, that boss looks incredibly frustrating.
yupp. In the first level if you take longer than 5 minues to get to the boss, Jennifer dies.
what happens when the time runs out game over or something

An evil orb jelly thingy.

Splatterhouse 4 is in 2010 maybe?

~prays that it'll be ported to PC~

vbahhaha what i used to do when i was 7
Proof? Google.

well than prepare for an uproar because games are going to be violent more & more because the company ain't making games for them there making them for the fans and parents should know better than let there children buy or they buy violent games for them and some stores shouldn't sell them for kids but there's stores like gamestop which that won't sell a game like gta4 the kids not even with parental supervision
hahaha this boss is easy u just have to do roundhouse kick when he rushes at u

Huh? Playing super easy mode lol...
man, what an annoying boss!
@alexvilla2439 Resident Evil is pretty much a ripoff of Splatterhouse.
