Surely I’m not the first to say that the Lifestyle Overland bear would look great overlaid on that awesome wrap. No words needed with it. Those who know will know. Love the build and love how you’re able to make lots of upgrades all at once. Great job!
I'm also building a 21 tundra. Every question I ask in my head during your episodes you quickly answer. thank you for being so thorough and meticulous.
You’re going to love the Quadlock set up! I’ve been running their set up for my phone and iPad these past 2 years. Even decided to add their universal lock to my iPad along with a Ram mount on the rear cabinet to watch TH-cam while cooking at camp.👍
Glad to see you using RCI off-road gear, as I just ordered full underbelly, fuel tank, diff, a-arm, and cat converter protection, and rock sliders from them for my bronco. Wish I was sponsored 💔 but it’ll be worth it for the ease of mind as a solo off-roader
Extending the breather on the diff shows some serious attention to detail. This kind of stuff makes me love your channel. All kinds of little tricks… 🙌
All your videos are great but these have been fun to watch as I went thru many of these same installs last summer after I picked up my '18 Tundra. Thanks for all the great content!
Fantastic job with the build. Love what you've done so far and excited to see more. RCI makes some of the best products. I said the same when I had installed all my RCI skids. They bolted right up with zero issues. Just need to get their sliders here soon.

It's really cool to follow this work!! The machine is amazing 😍
Discovered this channel this morning, and instantly subscribed. Love the video quality, editing is on point, tons of info but not too much. I don't know anything about mechanical engineering on cars but I do enjoy every part of your build. Keep it going mate! Big new fan from France!
I definitely don’t hit the trails as hard as you guys but, I do run shock boots to protect the shaft. My recommendation would be to snip the zip ties and slide the boot down to clear out debris if there is any. I check mine as part of my 5k maintenance routine and just overall check list. Just like checking for cv boot tears 😅. Thanks for making some of the best content out there. I always look forward to the videos!
I bought an ‘08 tundra 5.7 double cab with the 6.5’ bed in October of ‘23 and put a front 3” lift with 2.5” Icon’s and the leaf pack in the rear with the matching 2.5” Icon’s. Sway-bar delete and Icon 17x8.5” +25 offset compression bronze wheels with 315/70r17e K02 and Apex rapid deflators (which are awesome!). The stock 18” steel wheels and tires were 75lbs, the new ~35” wheel/tires are 88lbs. SPC adjustable UCA’s and super 40 flowmaster that dumps before the axel. Already had the engine, trans, and t-case skids and added the RCI rear diff and 26gal fuel tank skid, thank God I got those because I beat them all up a bit in Arizona. Next are bumpers, lights, a winch, and a switch panel. Lastly is a topper similar to the one you got to build out a single sleeper with a pooch pad for my yellow lab. And somewhere in there, do a Re-gear to 4.88’s and a rear locker. Oh yeah, and Arizona left me with some nice pin-striping (which was expected), so I might bed coat the truck diy style🤷🏼♂️. I also did the ram mount from the lower grab handle with the quad lock for my phone. I’m also going to upgrade the stereo to a touch screen with Apple CarPlay so I can use waze and onX off-road apps on it. Great video’s, thank you!
With the dash plate, order an ICS Fab backing plate. It mounts under the dash and gives the dash plate much more rigidity. Especially with the added weight you plan on running on there! I'm running a Rago Fab plate with ICS backing. Just had to drill a few holes in the ICS to match. Love the build and of course the Tundra! 🤘
Super stoked about the build. Can’t wait to see what you do with the Tundra and the overland adventures you will have. Definitely link some of the products you used for us.
Sparks Parts has oem color matched exterior door handles for the 2nd generation Toyota Tundra. Toyota puts the color matched on the Sequoia, and they fit the Tundra.
Damn you made this truck look even more beautiful! After watching these videos of your truck. I was going toward a regular SR5 4x4 but now that I’m seeing more of this 1794 edition makes me want to get one like this instead.
Having built up 2 4Runners, a Lexus GX, and an LX, it’s always interesting when you spend more money to make the truck look more “basic” on the outside and in.
Kevin, any confident, automotive or tool&die machine shop can re-drill your existing trailer drums to match the Toyota bolt pattern. I use to re-drill Renault three lug hubs and drums to 4x100 so we could get aftermarket wheels for them all the time. You’ll need to buy new studs and lugs as well.
very nice! Supercharger? Oh yeah....stage II indeed! How is the land cruiser doing? Looks like a rough ride which is probably why technology moves the ways it does...we humans like a comfortable ride! Love to the Fam!
So the nylon press in line fitting on the diff - how water tight is that connection? It’s a great idea. I know they use that style line and mur-lok style fitting for stuff like water filtration units but curious as to how that will work. Love the idea and may borrow it 😂
@@LifestyleOverland I've heard reliability is usually an issue with long travel, given your goals of getting out there, solid axles will be simpler/more reliable and honestly similar costs IMO. But hey that would be fun too! Love the series and the 2nd gen Tundra choice. Given the awesome gas mileage of the Tundra, going bigger fuel tank too? Anyways thanks for the reply!
Looking awesome man! I also have a 21 Tundra that I am trying to do a chrome delete on. Where did you pick up the front grill pieces? Did the come paint matched?
I got it from Taco vinyl but I don't recommend them. The quality is terrible and while they're supposed to be making it right, we're pushing 3 months on a replacement now. I'd teer clear until I get some warm-fuzzies. Ideally you should find genuine Toyota parts and have a local shop paint them. Even if the paint was ok, the aftermarket molds are laughable.
Curious, if the grill modification was factory or aftermarket, replaced my surround and hood bulge with factory, but want to replace the grill as well. Also love the chrome delete on the interior, want to do the same as I find it to be a safety hazard as well with a lot of reflection hitting me in the face as I drive.
So for your billet battery terminal clamps for Toyota, I'd be able to run my Factory 3rd Gen Tacoma wires to without having to cut and modify the OEM wire connectors?
What type of connector is that at the top of the rear diff breather that's zip tied to the rear bed? Just seen how easy it is as a fix and want to replicate.
@@LifestyleOverlandgot mixed feelings on A-track. Some people swear by it and other say it’s useless. I’ve tried using just A-track and then I lock my rear and walk right out or over. A-track is no match for a locker. Case should be closed on that subject but people still compare them. lol
I love how you do your own work, it definitely separates you from other content creators in the overlanding world
I appreciate that!
The war on chrome is making a huge difference...truck looks great. You make it all look so easy.
I could watch Kevin wrench away in the shop for hours. His knowledge and confidence handling upgrades is satisfying to watch.

the dashmount for the camera and phone.. *Chef's kiss*

What a good looking truck. Glad to know I'm not the only with an aversion to chrome. Looking forward to tagging along on the adventures to come.

Job responsibility determines quality, and quality determines productivity. 👍

Glad you enjoyed it!

Love the upgrade on Tundra grill my 2019 Limited would look good with that upgrade. Both my Tundra and GX 550 Overtrail sport the Topo bear.
Love how you covered the chrome of the grill, ten times better 👌
That grill made all the difference in the world . Looks excellent now .
Thanks! 👍
Looking pretty sweet! Can't wait to hear your easter egg from the last video
Me too!
RCI definitely knows how to build assemblies. They have a black belt in GD&T.
Welcome to the Full Size Truck crew! The Bush Company Canopy looks great. @tremoroverlandusa approved! Can’t wait to see the build at a future EXPO.

Quad lock is the way to go. To help with vibration, get the vibration isolation pad… big difference.
Wow is grill bump time 👊🏻🔥 I enjoy your transformation! Dope!
Thanks!
Just replaced the full skids on my LC200 with SLEE, but my wife’s t4r TRD Pro are all RCI. Pretty hard to beat and love them!

I'll work up a web page with parts and links as soon as I get some time 👍 Thanks
looks amazing
Best built up because everything is detailed 👍
Always a class act when you are upgrading your rigs… should tow the trailer with style and ease 👊
Wow, that grill looks so much better. 👍
The Grizz is looking great
The next upgrades should be a brush guard and a winch

Love the good fight against chrome, hate that crap!!!
looking forward to more vids!!! ❤🎉

And now all you need is to get a set of aftermarket Portal Axles.
That is one fine looking Overlander you have put together, Spring 2025 to Alaska ??
Eager to see what's next in the build. Amazing job. Gave me a lot of great ideas for my when I get a new truck. Taking it to Alaska? :)

It's air line rated for like 100psi. Will be just fine for this. 👍
SUPERCHARGER YES
Would love to see where you got the seat covers!

You need to orange topo that truck now.
How and where did you learn these skills? Awesome work.
Hi cool build so far! Could you please provide a link to where you got those shock boots? Thanks!
5:30 I need to check out the specs on these for our RV. I greatly dislike the stock F53 chassis set up.

I've got a special idea for that... 😁

Great job my man. Whats the weight and available payload?
Are you guys planning on a transmission cooler for the truck? Toyota removed them in 2019 and up tundra models

New bumper from RCI coming soon 👍
