I really enjoy your build video but those are my favourite. As for the kids, all 3 of them have a setup now (I still have to carry the kit of the youngest but still, she equip herself slowly). Be resilient. The feeling of having the family reunited twice a year in the wild if so much different than when it a family supper at home.
Wife hears the intro music and was and sees me staring at the tv like a statue. “I’m going out with the girls, looks like you’re on a date with Kev” It’s been a hot minute!
Kevin, it's been a while since I got on to see your family adventures. You know the last time that I had the chance to watch your video was when you all went to Alaska, and Caroline was still small, and you guys were very happy that you got Abigail arrival shortly. You know, whenever yall broke the news of your arrival, I was extremely happy for you. Wee 7 months later, I broke my own news too...😂😂😂 I got a little boy. Well, I am extremely happy to see your new rig, and it looks amazing! I may have to get one.
For the family full size is the way to go. It may limit the types of trails you can do but that’s an easy sacrifice for the comfort of 4 family members.
It's crazy how fast those girls are growing. You're doing a good job mom and dad. Thanks for sharing your adventures; the good, the not so good, and the beautiful.
As a father of two young daughters, I understand - and appreciate you showing how it really is. Now to the actual point of this comment: Did I watch because I'm a long time fan and am amazed how time flies with your daughters growing up? Maybe. Did I watch to see the Tundra in the wild? Maybe. Did I watch to see how Ace would fare?............... most definitely :D Cheers
9:00 Can't imagine how pretty this area would be in the fall! Love seeing all the cute family interactions and antics. Love the new rig too. Really coming along nicely!
Re: "Taken Camp Sites by Trailers" We just got back from Colorado and it was the same on many trails there. Dozens of sites on many trails "reserved" with trailers and no vehicle. No one visited those sites for days on end when we were camping in the area. Frankly I think it's selfish. Pack it out also means your trailer if you're not going to actively use the site. I worry about trails being closed to overnight camping if this becomes more of the norm.
Father of 3. I pretty much stopped long truck rides for 3 years till the kids got older. It was just too much for me as a bit of an OCD dad with my car rides. Just did a 14.5hr ride this weekend with the kiddos and there is no replacement for having mom in the back seat, entertaining the youngest.
Been watching you guys for years. Love the build and your videos!! Just got a 1st Gen tundra of my own and am building it out. Suggestion for your dogs e collar. Place the two tabs on the side of his neck versus on his jugular. My dog trainer said it could cause damage to their throat in the puppy stage. Also, you get better contact from the collar so you don’t have to zap him at a higher setting. Just the two cents I got! Happy adventuring!
Yup I remember the toddler days when he needed that movie playing over and over for those that remember a V.C.R. WITH the overhead light on, Man upstairs help me… lol. Thanks for Sharing the maiden voyage of GRIZZ! Back roads survived the GRIZZ! But didn’t survive Abigail. Thanks for Sharing Guys…
We run a dogtra GPS collar on our GWP while we're camping, game changer. Download a map beforehand and let him explore to his heart's content and never have to worry.
I remember the toddler years. It’s frustrating in the moment but time has a way of making you look back fondly. Keep up the great work raising that family!
Thanks for sharing as always. My girls and I watch all the time and they were excited to see how much your girls have grown. We loved seeing Ace as well!
Such an appreciated ending, you choose to share. We literally just attempted our first night in the camper as a family of four and ended up calling it. Hard not to feel discouraged, but I knew it was important to keep the overall positive attitude around the night so we packed up and went home. We’ll get there.
It looks so beautiful and peaceful! I always like and love your family beyond the country and nationality. The God will bless your family.I wiil pray for health and safety and happiness of your family.
Every time I see your trailer, I try to piece together what would be ideal for me & I've had so many ideas. Most recently, a small toy hauler for only an atv & storage for supplies with the rooftop tent. But that's already been invented so back to the drawing board I guess. Thanks for sharing another great adventure
Thanks for sharing real ish! I love my tundra and getting out to the mountains, but nobody really showcases what camping with toddlers/kids is really like! I really appreciate the "it's ok to try again" mentality! Hopefully we'll see you and your tundra on the trails!
Watching this video had me crying I was laughing so hard because I can completely relate to this. I have a 18 month old, 4 year old and a dog that just turned 3 and when we go camping and the kiddos are off their nap schedule and the dog is excited because he’s in a new place and mom and dad are tired from packing and arguing because it ain’t a camping trip until mom and dad argue am I right lol 😂. That is where you make the memories though and you’ll remember them forever. This was a great video and enjoy your content.
The best nap I ever took camping was with my son when he was 30 months old. Almost no sleep the night before and it down poured with highs in the mid 50's the majority of the weekend. We played in the lake that morning and went back to camp to eat, dry off, and warm up. We snuggled under the sleeping bags to warm up a bit and ended up having the best three hours of sleep in my life! It is now a must do trip 1st weekend in May. His fondest memories of us together is in that camp spot. I have since adopted two kids but that trip is reserved for me and my biological son only! (Don't worry- I go to the coast with my daughter and dirt bag with my other son for our yearly trips.) Making core memories-that's what it is all about! Is that the Uinta Mnts??? I lived in Vernal for 8-9 months and always wanted to explore those...that was back in 1999-time does fly!
The toddler years are so amazing, a bit frustrating, so wonderful, and such a journey. I missed those years when I met my wife as my stepkids were all past the age of 5. But our toddler granddaughter (and oldest daughter) are living with us now, and it's such a gift. It's hilarious to watch their sense of humor form, and to share in the daily activities. Being a PawPaw is the best job I could ever have.
Camping with the wife can be like a toddler, but I continue to try to find ways to make things work for her... Thanks for sharing your experience with me. Maybe I can get the Tundra that I want and get rid of my GMC before the tranny goes out for a third time.
You mentioned that you almost didn't post this video/show the "not so fun side" of camping with young ones, all of us that have tried it have the "same" stories to tell....the 4 month old screaming till 4am...the one that sleeps, the other that doesn't...the one that is a disaster the the first night, great the second, disaster the third..then the next camping trip a disaster all 3 nights in a row..then the next trip an "angel"....when you think you have it sorted( a recipe if you will) and know what to do..then they throw a spanner in the works. It is what it is...and as you say, it may be hell when you're in it...but it's the ones you remember...and if your kids get "over" that initial bedding down process...when they get to the point where "they" are the ones hounding you on when the next trip is?...you know that it was all worth it...(as sleep deprived and frustrating as it was at the time) ;-)
Truely small kids theirs sleep timing is very unpredictable and due to their schedule parents are always in though condition but that's the devotion of a parents for their loving infant. In my time entire night both of us don't sleep at night and had to move on in night morning with daily routine which sometimes was very tough. How ever with 2 babies your vlogue was very nice 👍 have a wonderful time with your kids and happy days ahead ❤❤❤❤❤😊
Every time I see you guys out and sharing your story I can't help but be amazed at how similar your story is with ours. Now with your new tow rig your whole setup is similar to ours. Our kids are similar ages as yours and one of ours is Caroline too. Haha. We had the same experience many times with our 2 year old that you guys had on this trip. Your style and ideas are just like mine, I feel like if we lived in Utah we would probably be friends. 😅 If I remember correctly your trailer is about 3,000lbs? I'm also curious about the trucks gear ratio. How did it do in low rpms? Thanks again for the story and video.
If you don't have one already, get yourself a Pedal Commander. I had one in my Tacoma, 4Runner, and now in my 2019 Tundra as well. Makes a world of difference. For daily driving, I keep it in City mode and the pedal is near 1-to-1 with the throttle. Plus, as a bonus, if you really need to creep on a 4Lo obstacle, switch it to Eco mode where the gas pedal barely feathers the throttle so you can control it better.
Great honest video that tells it like it really is when camping in the back country. I remember after our first child was born the wife and I made the decision we would continue our outdoor activities with an infant and toddler. Yes, it was difficult and challenging but we persevered. Being flexible and with the expectation every day activities just took longer and you just didn't accomplish as much in a day as you did before kids. Sarah's comments on the gas pedal feel.... I am assuming the gas pedal in the Tundra is electronic and not mechanical. Do all of the vehicles you folks own have electronic gas pedals or mechanical? I own vehicles from 2001 to 2018 and there is a significant difference between a mechanical gas pedal and an electronic gas pedal. I really dislike the electronic gas pedal in our 2016 Chevy Equinox. It is extremely sensitive along with the electronic brake pedal. I wonder if the settings for an electronic gas and brake pedal could be adjusted. Most likely not allowed by the manufacturers for legal and safety reasons.
What’s that song during “tundra trail time”? My fiancé and I really want to use it for walking down the aisle at our wedding next month. I’ve spent nearly two hours trying to find it now with no luck
We love you always..From Iraq ❤. No passion for your next 😉
Wife hears the intro music and was and sees me staring at the tv like a statue. “I’m going out with the girls, looks like you’re on a date with Kev”
It’s been a hot minute!
To co-op the old fishing adage...
A bad day overlanding is better than a good day at work!
“we will just do music over it” how many times we have said that with our boys jajjaja, love that you share the real side of camping with kiddos
Kevin, it's been a while since I got on to see your family adventures. You know the last time that I had the chance to watch your video was when you all went to Alaska, and Caroline was still small, and you guys were very happy that you got Abigail arrival shortly. Round two with the Grandkids for us. Wouldn’t trade the long nights and dirty feet for nothing.
Keep it up.
Thank you for sharing
Great to see another family adventure again. Thanks for keeping it real and sharing the adventure with us!

Haha! He was a champ! Glad you enjoyed it!
9:00 Can't imagine how pretty this area would be in the fall! Love seeing all the cute family interactions and antics. Love the new rig too. Really coming along nicely!
This channel is a bad influence! Now I want a Tundra 😆 Love following you all, please keep going 🤙
The truck has come together nicely. You should head east and hit some trails out here!

Great video. I want to get my wife into overlanding and take our new on the way baby boy out camping. Thanks for sharing your journey.

I like and love your familiy so so much beyond country and nationality.
Beautiful adventure and the right decision at the right time. Respect!
What a cool way to grow up as kids, they will be well versed in so many areas of life and happy
Kevin this video was wonderful. I didn't realize how long it's been until I saw how much the girls have grown.
Hope you added a transmission cooler to the new truck! Happy adventures.
Trying it without one for a while for testing purposes
You living my life in age, John Rooth is living my life in older age😅. Inspirational lifestyle. Im staying curious.. 💯🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I love the new truck. Those are turning out to be the holy grail Tundra to have.
So relatable. Overland camping with our toddler was very similar. Still better than not going out! He was going to be that way no matter what 😅
Amazing channel! Loved watching you build out the new rig recently
Ah.. the joy it gives me to the see your new videos. especially about the rig updates/upgrades.
Keep making these videos. It's what most of us parents need to get out despite the challenges! One of the best videos to date
Thanks so much!
I really enjoyed this one. Had been grinding and going through a hard patch of late so this was very wholesome video that made me smile. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My sister who’s a mother of two young adults told me a father of two under 15, said “days are long! But years are short!”
Thanks for sharing as always. My girls and I watch all the time and they were excited to see how much your girls have grown. We loved seeing Ace as well!

Glad you found it encouraging! 💪
Pls continue. It will get better. We’re watching every new episode.
Come train my dogs! I am impressed. Thanks for a great trip.
Nice Rig!
The pup is getting big and looks like he’s doing great around camp.
We have a 4month old Chocolate Lab that is our new camp dog…. 👍
Great video guys!!
Thanks so much!
It looks so beautiful and peaceful!
I always like and love your family beyond the country and nationality. The God will bless your family.I wiil pray for health and safety and happiness of your family.

I always like and love your family beyond country and nationality.Your family is just professionalist of TH-cam.
Oh yeah! Thank you for Sharing and showing all beautiful moments family time! Plus truck is looking monster 🔥🤠

Looks GREAT!!!
Love Caroline's haircut! Not much cuter than puppy & toddler photos. Thx for sharing it all with us.
Great adventure, cool having the deer hanging around 🤩😎⭐️
Beautiful camera work...awesome new additions too...
Enjoyed watching it ❤️

I've recently went out exploring with my grandson 😊 Keep on keeping on
Awesome truck!! Maybe some Sumo springs and an add-a-leaf
"Will just do music over it." 🤣

Missed you guys at OEX Mountain.
Us too! All home sick sadly

What's that song playing during the drone footage starts @ 8:40
you just described my oldest, except it was nearly every night for 3 years at home. That was a rough patch lol
The struggle is real! We finally get a few full nights here and there
Great video! Love you guys.
Thanks so much!
Recent empty nesters, it went by so fast. We’re looking to go full time now with our GSD puppy and looking at different options to go with our Tacoma.
Hurry up and post a video of the supercharger! I have the same exact truck and I am thinking of dropping one myself. Truck looks good man.
Hi love camping one my goals is a similar setup trailer look nice
Great choice for a dog. I didn’t know Nova Scotia retrievers existed.
He's been awesome 👍
Ok omg gosh that back seat is going to be tight when that dog gets fully groan… but beautiful dog..
Wonderful video, the growing pains of todlers, have you had the Tundra tuned?
Man I don't miss the teething and sleepless nights. My wife wants to add a 4th, but they all sleep through the night and are out of diapers.
Oh, and I'm old now.
Invest in a Ruffland kennel when ya can. Alot safer for the pup. And you can put. Kspace fan on the door .
Camping with the wife can be like a toddler, but I continue to try to find ways to make things work for her... Thanks for sharing your experience with me. Maybe I can get the Tundra that I want and get rid of my GMC before the tranny goes out for a third time.
Better put one of those reflective dog harnesses on Ace, so you can follow, and locate him night time.....
8:20 DAMN that’s a good lookin cheeseburger
What’s the song at 18:19 ??

Also, due your hiatus, I had to fill a void. OTG and TSTN have found a place in my YT rotation!
“Hey don’t put that in your mouth.” 🤦♂️😆

A....B...and 3!! 😂❤❤❤
Love this channel! ❤ Have you considered glueing solars films on top of the rtt? I glue 200w of the flexible solar panels to charge my 2000w Jackery.
Just installed 400 watts on top 😁
Keep us posted how you like the toyo open country MTs on a bigger tow rig.
Every time I see you guys out and sharing your story I can't help but be amazed at how similar your story is with ours. Now with your new tow rig your whole setup is similar to ours. Content keeps getting better Kev & Fam, good job! Tell me, how have be using your 56l snomaster? Mostly fridge fridge or fridge freezer?
Thanks! Mostly fridge 👍

"we'll just do music over it" ROFL
watching the Griz makes me missin gmy tundra already, had to trade it in for a tacoma, but i think a tacoma is a better fit for me.

Where do you keep Ace at night?
Were you guys out on Skyline? Or somewhere in the Uintas? Cool looking setup!
Will u put wheel carrier on the tundra.?
Great video guys! What is the song that starts at 16:33? I've tried to search everywhere and have come up with nothing. Keep up the great work!!
Diff re-gear?
What’s that song during “tundra trail time”? My fiancé and I really want to use it for walking down the aisle at our wedding next month. I’ve spent nearly two hours trying to find it now with no luck
It cost money to do a build up. I’m still in the tent on the floor mode
Nothing wrong with that at all so long as you're getting out there 👍
Where is this, or did I miss where you said this was filmed?
Question while I wait for the video to release. What inspired the logo? I like it!
We've always loved the self-reliance the bear represents. Growing up in Tennessee there was no cooler wildlife to spot too!
👍👍😃
8:27 she wanted to say something and baby takes attention once again, has no one seen Boss Baby?
Hey there! Does your entire fleet (aspen included) run load E tires, or do you choose load rating based on build?
Yep, always load range E for the sidewall strength
4 low at 60mph idk bro i have a 231 that burnt up doing that
