You done great !
The area code has a meaning, if starts with 1 it is Sao Paulo State, 2 Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo, 3 Minas Gerais, 4 Parana and Santa Catarina and goes on. If you google “DDDs Brazil” probably a map with the codes will be showed.
Other things that may help is the abreaviation of the states, in the video appears AP, which is the abbreaviation for Amapa, Sao Paulo is SP, Rio de Janeiro - RJ… usually is the the first to 2 letters in a single name state, or the first letter of which word in 2 or more names states… except for Amapa (ap), Roraima (RR) and Paraíba (PB)

the school says "Palmeira das Missões" - while figuring out that that is a municipality name doesn't help much, the "das Missões" does - the area with the important Jesuit missions is in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul state; although the red soil already made you guess the correct area :)
