I did as well, I believe that was the set up but for some reason or other (the getting over it with bennet foddy principle) they elected not to do so for some reason. I would of loved it. Harstems hell, wack a mole with the widow mine maze.
Woulda been cool if you had to duel with a probe at the end! Finishing with a kill is always satisfying. And that way if you took hull damage in the rest of the challenge it would punish you.
@@pablovirus Nope. If you get the first shot off, you’ll win so long as you don’t have hull damage. If the opponent gets the first shot off, you have to disengage and regen shield then restart the battle making sure you get the first shot off. You just keep restarting til you get the first shot off, shouldn’t take more than a few tries.
nice well done. i somehow expected a dt at the end and a nexus to deliver that golden and blue mins to get away . have to try it looks like fun... the fun you have playing vs printf ^^
I see you have just done Storm rush no prism which is the way i did before for lower level as well, so glad to watch that plays at grandmaster level. @Harstem: Idea for your next video of Beating Grandmaster with stupid stuff: Rushing blink dts
@harstem did you actually read the book there or was it all just for show? ^^ I LOVE how he sits there, reading that book, then "AHA" the idea came to his mind. Awesome acting skills there, captain. Also I'm interested if the cannon solution at the end was the intended solution actually, because it seems a bit too easy and also quite useless in the case of a cannon rush. It feels like the solution would have been to have enough hull hp left to be able to go up the ramp and place a pylon or something similar to zone the marine? Printf should put a victory screen at the end there, but maybe he actually did but you have to mine the blue minerals? Should be possible if the probe is only carrying the golden ones.
This map is exactly like Trial tracks in Trackmania games and I'm all for it, I'd love for Sc2 map makers to start making more game knowledge / mechanical skill heavy Trial maps.
It would be epic if there was a nexus at the start of the map, and you'd have to return the gold minerals all the way back through the gauntlet somehow to win.
For those of you who don't know, back in starcraft1 there was a map called cat and mouse, where the zerg ultralisk player was tasked with killing all the infinite minerals/gas players who would use this method of travel the pylon parkor glitch passing to evade the ultralisk player around a maze of pre placed pylons. I believe this map is in homage to that. That map later became used as a source of triggers and code for other content creators including my self who used starcraft draft editor to take the triggers and use them in other maps making cat and mouse a kind of source library many of us used pieces of to learn when we wer kids -- Cat and mouse eventually stopped being hosted but was succeeded by many other maps such as probe olympics and save the president -- this all a decade later inspired the warcraft3 maps known as the ''run maps'' the ''vampire maps'' and also the the ''tag maps'' fantastic seeing harstem enjoying the arcade. well done, just gleeful. Hopefully the creator is inspired to increase the map bounds and camera bounds, add more puzzels, more nonsense! or even make it multiplayer!, you never know where creative spirit will take you -- down the galaxy editor rabbit hole. What a fantastic but small but charming creation. Well done printf. Perhaps you could build more tracks. Maybe tracks using my data mods data? = D
First thing I would try is clicking the fathest mineral patch and seeing if my probe can just dodge everything. Sure it wouldn't work, but I want to see the attempt.
10:25 --> "You can try it yourself in the Arcade, but knowing the answers it isn't half as much fun." Well thank you very much Harstem for absolutely ruining my first time experience on this map by providing full-on spoilers about the whole parkour 😂👍 Really nice to mention the spoiler factor at the very end of the video instead of the start 🤦♂😂👌
hahaha absolutely love printf's response
It's the cruelest thing to tell a competitive player 😂
that cheeky bastard lol
I've never laughed so much at such a predictable answer. Perfect delivery! I was expecting some shit like "no you have to kill all the probes now"
Dude got to deliver the punch line exactly as he intended
legend
I would drop a like, but you need to look inwards for validation Harstem
Harstems cannon rush skills after this parkour is gonna be off the charts
It is indeed pretty good training for maneuvers you have to do
the reward for your victory was in fact the wisdom of printf imparted upon you.
I was waiting for an ultralisk at the end or a swarm of zerglings hahahaha GGWP
I expected widow mines at the end.
now that would have been funny!!
I did as well, I believe that was the set up but for some reason or other (the getting over it with bennet foddy principle) they elected not to do so for some reason. I would of loved it. Harstems hell, wack a mole with the widow mine maze.
lmfao should make that message pop up in game. Great way to twist "I never programmed it in"
Need more videos like this. Love the crazy videos
Love these - Would watch a whole arcade games / challenge series
Woulda been cool if you had to duel with a probe at the end! Finishing with a kill is always satisfying. And that way if you took hull damage in the rest of the challenge it would punish you.
If the other probe chases you relentlessly and you have hull damage on you, can you even win?
@@pablovirus If you drag them back to the cannon

- Eagles, it would be nice if you carry us away from this burning mountain!
- Don’t be so exigent! Look inward for validation, not outward!
I was waiting for the twist where you need to have saved 400 minerals somehow to make a nexus and deliver some minerals to get to the exit
Maybe the real validation was the skills we learned along the way
Amazing map
He should've put some zealots with /dance at the end
Odd video, but i enyoed a lot. The guy at the end also was fun ajajsj
"look inward for validation" xD
Fake, protoss players can't read
MORE OF THIS TYPE OF CONTENT :DDD
I was sure the last segment will have you navigate through invisible mines.
That ending got me laughing out loud, comedic genius that printf

A nexus to deliver the minerals to would've been good for sure.
ive watched his stream a lot, in the first 5 min of the game printf has some 7k micro cause he's so used to getting every little thing right
keep doing arcade games. love this content!
I really like these arcade games that translate to actual game skill.
The marine one makes sense if your goal is a contain.
Hahaha look inward! :D
Now do Zealot Hockey!
You spelled Star Strikers incorrectly.

Look inward for validation... F that I'm making a TH-cam video and getting my validation from there

There should be a nexus you discover so you can drop the minerals and that gets you the victory screen or something
Laaaazy map maker.
Stop looking for external validation
thanks for showing this creative map
¿No victory screen?, Shame to the author
really this is printf's cannon rush training
Move arcade challanges like this pls!
Mario Maker ass level. 10/10
This is genius from pronto
Just because something is short, doesn't mean it ain't hard. - Harstem 2024
That ending looool
This ending is so sick
love this type of content
I love this video
Interesting!

The probe would get stuck on the 2nd obstacle, the forge xD
amazing
Love you boy
That's pretty sweet all around, inside and out
Very cool! Would like to see more such videos
Thanks for sharing the wisdom
the first time i'm better than harstem
hahahaha, so worth it for the end
I love this stuff

why watch the video if you wanted to play the map?
What were you expecting lmao it's an obstacle course in starcraft 2
You didnt think, like 2 minutes into the video, or at any point in the video "hmm maybe this is spoiling the course for me"
2 minutes, 13 views? Harstem fell off
your videos make my summer way better man thank you captain 🫡
