Our biggest weak point was definitely lack of teamwork. I had so much trouble just maintaining nerves while keeping my build going, not to mention trying to pay attention to what was happening to my teammates.
In these kind of challenges best-of-3 is a good way of rolling it because the first game is always nerves and exploration but the second and third games are far more about the actual game itself rather than adjustments.
@@RossRadikShermanwasn't it the Finnish player elfi that had a bit over 80 apm and won foreign tournaments? And sOs, or $o$, that had around 140 apm and still won BlizzCon twice? But that was before LotV, before the multitasking and micro taking precedence over build orders and strategy. There was a shift in play style feom HotS to LotV. Skirmishes being valid and bases mining out quickly changed a lot.
@@ieaturanium574 to be fair, goblin and uThermal have played together a ton, which is a HUGE advantage. These guys haven't played together at all. Likely your first game you would be just as distracted by the team aspect of things and would struggle. If these guys played a dozen warm up games the week leading up to the match I bet they do a lot better. All that to say, you probably COULD do better, if you practiced team games with your teammates prior.
Same in all competitive shit, chess, sports, mmo, fps. Almost like a law of nature. A friend been playin top europe level pve for years, really invested, super good, skill and knowledge wise, but told me that at some point he could see that whatever he could do, he would never be able to compete with the top players of his guild, those ppl have some natural gifts on top of xtreme practice and knowledge that put them above whatever happen. Fascinating indeed
Considering you guys didn't sit on voice for this game, but still crushed so hard is pretty damn impressive. Looking forward to 2v3 GM and maybe you'll think about 2v2 matches in the future. IMO this is top tier content. Also totally agree that for the GM version you could do voice.
I just want to highlight the absolute boss move from goblin where he shoots a disruption nova on his own stalkers and then blinks out to hit the zerglings.
Amazing content as always! I think you should play in the way that gives you and goblin the most enjoyment. Your commentary is great as always, but I'd like to see you communicate with Goblin too, it's cool to see the team at work.
I think challenges like these should be a mini-series of several games, each against different opponents, so its clear its not a fluke. Also 2vN feels like a much nicer format then 1vN, since you're less susceptible to cheese. Speaking of which, wonder why noone tries stuff like ebay blocking or cannon rush, especially in 1vN?
Bro how can you be this amazing at commentating live while also kicking ass like that simultaneously is blowing my mind !!! You are a Legend my guy ! Keep this up it's awesome to watch 😎💪
I loved this game, I almost exclusively played 3v3 BW (Hunters, BGH), it comes down how is the map done, usually it is easier to collectively attack than collectively defend. Two players can coordinate easier than 3 players. I liked the start, how you were attacking with 2 armies together, trading well. Reaper is such important here, because it can chase down other units. Normally it would be better to retreat.the team with number advantage should incorporate workers to attack squad as vanguard.
I'd actually love to hear the voice comms from you playing 2v2, and see what that's like. When I played, it was mostly casual team games, and our comms could definitely use some work!
In a team game, can you recall friendly units if you have control of them? Imagine recalling a dozen Thors with a Mothership into an enemy base. Hmmmmm.
Hey, uthermal. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your efforts that you put in creating content! Small remark, you said in the beginning Kiew, which is the name of Ukrainian capital in russian language. Here in Ukraine we call it Kyiv. It ain’t a big mistake or anything, just wanted to let u know :) Really enjoy your content and congrats on upcoming 100k subs!!!
It's probably too late, you may have already done, but not uploaded your 2v3 GM, but if not, please build up to it. 2v2m1gm, the. 2v1m2gm, THEN the big finale!
thanks for the carry homie
Games with Goblin you can absolutely beat top 10 GMs, so 3 lower GMs should be doable. Goblin you are amazing.
To be far, you did quite a bit of damage yourself and make a lot of room for Marc to charge in and wipe bases.
You were destroying too
Just like RPGs, you have a tank and a DD. Nice teamwork!
We need more games of you both playing sc2
Thanks for kicking my ass, Marc. Had a blast!
That looked really fun, you guys had good pressure mid game.
Well played dude
I would love to see you guys offer a revenge match to these 3 master players. Give them a month to plan a strategy together and see what they can do.
Our biggest weak point was definitely lack of teamwork. I had so much trouble just maintaining nerves while keeping my build going, not to mention trying to pay attention to what was happening to my teammates.

Oooooo storyline...I'm down.
So cool to play against UThermal I bet tho
just do the triple three rax reaper xD
if playing against 3 GM's use voice chat, seems fair enough
it's crazy how big the skill diff is between the top 2% of starcraft II players and actual pro gamers
While I agree 100% with you on what you say, It really hurts me to think I couldn't do any better than these guys 😕
I have around 160 apm as a masters player. Pros have over 300, so yeah, huge difference.

yeah I was amazed by the level of map-ping telepathy and the spontaneously-coordinated medvac + stalker offense
I just want to highlight the absolute boss move from goblin where he shoots a disruption nova on his own stalkers and then blinks out to hit the zerglings.
Watching the synergy you two have was really amazing. All 12 cylinders pumping away!
Bro this is the best content yet!
Amazing content as always! I think you should play in the way that gives you and goblin the most enjoyment. Your commentary is great as always, but I'd like to see you communicate with Goblin too, it's cool to see the team at work.
thanks, i had so much fun watching this battle. would be happy to see more multiplayer battles like this on your channel Mark
with team voice chat as well
this is great i play a lot of 4vs4 i like the chaos and possibility to blame someone for a fail :D its much less stressful than 1vs1
This was amazing fun to be part of, I have to say the hardest part of defending the reaper was not knowing the weird 3v3 map
Oof, playing against 3 GMs will be super tough but you might be able to pull it off! We have faith!
Marc absolutely carried that game... Protecting Goblin and basically took out all three Masters. Amazing!
13:34 "I'm going to make use of the chaos and create more chaos."
truly terrifying
Marc really channeling the power of the Law of Inverse Ninjas in this challenge haha. Love the high tempo gameplay from start to finish. GGWP!

To make it an actually interesting challenge. If multiple people do coordinated cheese against one person it's straight up not winnable
I thought the later 1vN challenges had a no cheese rule, but I could be remembering wrong.
@ryanjensen1945 Yeah, I also remember him saying something about that. Definitely a useless video to show him getting worker swarmed for exemple lol.
I love when you mix things up like this, great content!

Fun to watch!
I wish people knew how difficult this is
Cant wait to watch this banger
This was awesome!!!! I hope you keep this going or start a proxy nexus/cc with him in 2v2s would love to see more of this!!
i love to see 2vx games, its nice to have strategies align with your allie! very interesting gameplay and a lot more to take into account!
What a banger! This is great stuff, I hope you do more of this!! Goblin is cooking something spicy with that 2v3 GM idea, I say let him cook!
I'd actually love to hear the voice comms from you playing 2v2, and see what that's like. When I played, it was mostly casual team games, and our comms could definitely use some work!
Woohoo! I was hoping you'd do this with Harstem playing both of your crazy builds
Goblin dude is very good , great game
As a 3s player, was great to see this! Thanks
One of the best videos so far. Would be the best series.
Amazing commentary love these action packed games
Finally a Goblin 2v2/3 game
Awesome, love the concept!
0:20 this is the beninging 😂❤
Love this type of content! So fun and unique, keep it up!
Top tier entertainment! So much going on! Love it!
I saw 2 grandmasters terran/protoss and i was like "please let it be harstem, please let it be harstem, please let it be harstem".
Same
Yay before it even start i wanna say a huge thanx for completeing my comment request on team games
This was less of a 2v3 and more of a triple homicide
Fun watching these match ups! From America, with love!
I still believe a real insane challenge is yet to come xD
Would be cool to see a 2v2 series that was like your normal challenges but with 2 different races. Like proxy hatch x thor drop cheese
I would really like you and Goblin to do some 2v2 Challenges like planetary rush with nexus rush would be cool!
You can 100% beat 3 GMs, probably even top 100. But you need comms.
yep communication is key. be nice to hear your team ingame voice coms with post game commentary. great game, over before i could pop the popcorn ;D
Almost at 100k! Nice work thermal!
Hey uThermal, there's a split at 6:25 for a "Second match", I don't know if I'm mistaken.
Nice match, insane
For some reason youtube decided to start putting chapters themselves :D Thanks!
In a team game, can you recall friendly units if you have control of them? Imagine recalling a dozen Thors with a Mothership into an enemy base. Hmmmmm.
Huge fan of the team games, so much more fun to watch.
It's crazy how good you are at this game. Just amazing.
I love the multiplayer content. Bring in some more!!! :) :) :)
I really enjoyed this game! Nice job!
be cool to see some games vs AI. Too bad Alphastar model is not public. Would have made some nice content.
i would have enjoyed a best of 3, see if they come up with some cheesy shit since they cant outmicro you guys
My brain couldn’t keep up.
Cool challenge very fun to watch
Need more of this
would definitely love this to be a series, maybe also Bo3
If I could just remember the hotkeys like this guy has them memorized, my gameplay would be so much better. I'm so slow. 🤣
Finally a team game! Yes yes yes! :D
2v2 or 4v4 ranked with 1-1 marine roach rush with shared econ an army control!
MAGSON is an attempt at saying Magnus Carlsen I believe. Very nice praise
In future team games it would be helpful for me if you'd choose green as your color so it matches your minimap color 😊
I would like it if you would use voicechat with you ally. You dont need to comment to much on the game, just you guys talking would be nice.
no fucken way these guys where masters... This is gold level play man.. flexing on kicking puppys
2V3 GM looking forward to seeing it.😊
I feel like 2v4 would have been even better since you guys are both pro level. Maybe after you beat the 3 GMs?
awesome game!!
maybe u should try next vs 1gm and 2 master cause u 2 are great but going against 3 GM doesnt seem very fair
Hey, uthermal. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your efforts that you put in creating content!
Small remark, you said in the beginning Kiew, which is the name of Ukrainian capital in russian language. Here in Ukraine we call it Kyiv. It ain’t a big mistake or anything, just wanted to let u know :)
Really enjoy your content and congrats on upcoming 100k subs!!!
Preemptive grats on 100k subs !! Let’s see a mech toss to GM? ❤
Insane multitasking
This is awesome!
pffft I'm pretty sure the only and the best 2v2 SC2 player has and will always be protech
Reaper Man at his finest
I would love to volunteer as a GM 😄
Hmmm... Seems a fresh approach on the game found.
Cool challenge!!! 👍💣
Absolute gold as always
i was not impressed by vs 4 golds, but this is actually pretty legit.
nice frantic game!
500 subs before the 100k milestone 🎉
I wish you'd coach me. That way I could learn this friggin' game
More of this!!
Next challenge: 2 Pros vs 6 casters/content creators 😂
pls try 3 gms the most difficult way to start to make the most amount of content (just in case u lose... ...) what a time to be alive
yall are too good
never had a doubt in my mind you and goblin could 2v3 masters players lol GM I assume is pretty doable, just not 100% win rate.
look so fun and intense:D
So what is MAGSON. Anyone know?
More of this
You could maybe set up a voice chat with push to talk, that way you won't annoy Goblin with your commentary.
love your vides! 💪
do more of these
When is the inevitable co-op collab with JimmyMicro?
wasn't even close
Play with 2 races at the same time against 3 masters!!!
It's probably too late, you may have already done, but not uploaded your 2v3 GM, but if not, please build up to it. 2v2m1gm, the. 2v1m2gm, THEN the big finale!
Should specify in the title what rank those master players
There's a huge gap between low M3 and high M1 lol
