Every year around this time, i find a new blind hollow knight lets play and binge it. I have no clue why but its only in September. I get the itch. I’ve been doing this for 5 years
Glad you're checking it out! As you may have noticed at 1:01:40 there are secrets hidden behind breakable wall, so if something looks suspicious, try hitting it
I swear I was looking at your let's play document two days ago and wondering when you were going to get to this and now you are asldskdjaljsakj. I am so excited to watch this. Thank you so much, and good luck with the game
I have only played this masterpiece a couple months ago. and i had only beaten the game 107%! i still had a little bit left, but pikmin 4 came out and well thats kinda my whole thing so i still have those last percentages left. which btw there is 112% because free new content after the games release. but here are some tips from good old me. On spikes and those unkillable worm creatures if you hit down with your nail you can bounce on them! the thing you had to insert 50 geo in? i won't spoil it but it is EASILY word the price. so far you are doing pretty good, better then when i started for sure hehe. i mean i needed that compas i could not get around without it.
Finally watching through, so excited to watch you play my favorite game!! And honestly it’s really impressive how quickly you just figured out and understood everything. Seems like you’re really in sync with the game, can’t wait to watch the rest!
@@Roamerplays shoot, i didn’t wrote enough to be taken as a joke , i messed up anyways: ye it was a joke, ik that its blind-play but i still got pain 🤣
Currently playing Hollow Knight myself and it’s a blast so far. I like how it manages to let people play in their own way while still having direction and rules.
Ah yes, that feeling of being lost in hallownest for the first time is something truly amazing, something that I will sadly never feel again, and I hope you enjoy it. Get ready to be lost and looking at the map 80% of the time, learn a new enemy pattern every 2 screens and not understanding the lore because no one really does. (Nice thumbnail art btw)
I used to looove playing hollow knight, tho I never got to finish it (which is ...a reoccurring theme for me when it comes to games lol). I'd love to do a playthrough again! Also, i love the thumbnail, very cute!:)
i love hollow knight, so excited to see you play it! 3:5636:11 wow, you're really good compared to me, it took me a while to figure out how to beat the big guy with the club
roamer youre one of my favorite ever to watch play games i love bc your sincerity and appreciation for the art and storytelling really is a delight ❤ played this game a while ago with my partner and it changed us in ways that undertale did. im so excited to see your experience!
IM SO GLAD THIS IS FINALLY HERE!! I’ve been a long time subscriber but I haven’t been able to get into any of your recent series but this one I’ll sure be watching, I’m really excited for your thoughts on this game, you will have a fantastic time
I'm just discovering the game for the first time, it's too big to be a coincidence. Unfortunately that means I won't watch the letslay until I've finished the game myself.
21:44 No spoilers I promise. After defeating bosses or discovering new areas, try go back to the mine a visit Myla. Her Dialoge changes when you progress the game further.
Analogue stick _is_ bad. This game doesn't distinguish between different walk speeds, nor can you jump at arbitrary angles. It is 8-way movement only, and thus D-pad is the correct choice.
ha, until 16 minutes in it looks like you didnt recognize the healing tutorial. but you got it when it was needed. a crux of most backseating for hollow knight is the tip: always heal to full if youre safe.
Urkcisvfownd I've wanted you to play Hollow Knight for so long but never expected it to actually happen! This game is absolutely wonderful, and is the only game I've ever done several playthroughs of just because I enjoyed it so much. Hoping that you love it as much as I, and so many other people, do!
For anyone who plays with controller I (as a mouse and keyboard guy, who rarely plays controller) am more fluid in Metroidvanias with movement using the d-pad
As someone who would die without this I am here to inform you that attacking up and down are game functions that are quite essential to combat. I was watching and noticed that you have attacked up a couple of times but they seemed accidental so i figured I'd put this here just in case. Hope you you enjoy Hollow Knight!
YESSS, oh my god this probably isnt like what you usually play but i hope you dont drop it BECAUSE I LOVE THIS GAME TO BITS ! (oh and also this game is VERY hard!)
hey just wanted to tell you go to the green place you'll find someone follow them and then when u find them theres gonna be a surprise (btw im a hollow knight expert if you need any tips i'll tell ya)
i wanted to love this game but unfortunately it has too many problems, and I stopped enjoying it. I stopped after about 15 hours. Hopefully you like it more than I do.
I'm curious to hear what your criticisms are There are only a few tiny nitpicks I had with the game personally, would be interested to hear from the perspective of somebody who didn't enjoy it
I dont think the mapping system feels fun or rewarding, to me it just feels like a slog. The story feels too empty to me. I get the sense that there's a good story in it, but it goes too long without substance for me to feel engrossed. I was 15 hours in and i think i still didnt know why i was there or what my character was seeking, or why. I dont think the boss fights are harder than they sbould be, but if you die to them you will have to trek back to them, which is not a challenge as much as it is tedious. I cant stand games that neuter you when you respawn. So i hated that this game nerfs you until you return to your death scene to recapture your old spirit. Sometimes i don't actually want to go baxk, id rather change course. The game is decent looking but not as nice to look at as people make it sound IMO. I also think the faces lack expressiveness. And i reached a point where i had explored a lot of places but had no idea where i could progress, and there was a lack of hints. I didnt enjoy wandering around so i stopped playing. Despite all that i still think its a very polished game and a good value for the price and i can see why so many people enjou it.
@@bitbandit1678 I definitely agree with having to trek back to where you died every time. It’s nice to get to know the map layout better but like it gets annoying when you’re trying to beat a difficult boss. There is an npc that offers a service where you can get your soul back, but you have to unlock them so it’s still a problem in the early game. Luckily there was only one time where I ever really needed to use it, but it’s still rather annoying on your first playthrough. Story: I feel like the story isn’t really a main focus of the game tbh. Like yea there is a story there, and it is revealed to you piece by piece as you progress, I just never felt the need to look further into the lord or anything. Doesn’t harm the experience for me though, it’s cool that there is a story, and some of the story-related stuff that happens in-game is really cool and adds to the experience. Honestly though, not worth playing specifically for the plot. The gameplay and exploration are the game’s greatest strengths imo Characters lacking facial expression: eh, there’s an important reason for it story-wise and it’s sort of just a part of the game’s identity. I mean, fair enough if you don’t like it lol Same goes for most of the other stuff you said here, like yeah fair enough, a lot of that really just comes down to personal preference. Not everyone is going to enjoy everything about a game (Don’t take this response as like a full criticism of anything you said, just putting my own thoughts out there)
Hm. Talking almost all the time, missing a lot due to not paying enough attention, setting the amazing in-game music's volume far too low... I wonder if this playthrough is something I will find enjoyable. I guess will give it a try, for the sake of a true marvel of a game.
This is the firs time I am using my own art for a lets play. hope you all like it.
