Good point! here are my quick thoughts on that: The Psychiatrist's drug seems to be very mental in nature (all the crazy stuff that Zero experiences isn't really happening, its more of a psychic battle.) The keycard to get into the lab is found on the psychs table, so he definitely had access to the lab and has likely seen a lot of the tech down there, including the plasma cam. perhaps the drug used his knowledge of what the plasma cam can do as well as what it looks like and manifested it in his mental attack on Zero.
I’m very curious about Fifteen also trying to find the girl. I sure hope she’s real, I’m not sure I’d like for her and the masked men to be a shared hallucination. It also just kinda doesn’t make sense for it to be like that? I dunno 🤷♀️
this is might be a spoil idk if it's true or no, but I kinda know what's the relation ship of 15 and the little girl ( kinda ), cuz I saw before even the announcement of the new DLC, even before the teasers, one guy made a fan art of katana zero, of zero holding and playing with the little girl, and then 15 came and said : "Is that my child?" and "Who is that child?" as an option, and the fan art is in the "FAN ART Friday : Comics" in tumblr, as a collection for some fan arts bout Katana zero from the community, so maybe the little child is fifteen's daughter? or maybe not? And, bout the "They" that he mentioned, I guess it's the masked mans, what r ur thoughts ?
If you recall the last section on the base game is called "government lab" (the place where all the swords are) there is a locked door that presumably leads to this underground facility.

Katana Zero has a deep and very dark story behind it's badass action, the moment I realized it, boy imma do whatever it takes save the girl.
Small detail I noticed but the projectiles from the plasma cam seem similar to the projectiles the therapist used
