Opera singing is like the last thing I'd ever have an interest in ... but ... WOW! From my home town of Rochester!
Wonderful composition and excellent arrangement. Spectacular performance by America's Gem. God bless Renée, and God bless the USA 🇺🇸.
WE LOVE YOU MS RENEE FLEMING BEAUTIFUL VOICE BEAUTIFUL LADY GOD BLESS YOU AMEN
Wow!! This was so inspiring!! Love Renée!!!!
This was so gorgeous, I’ve been brought to tears. My dad passed two years ago this month, and he was a veterans advocate. His favorite film was The Sound of Music, so seeing her perform this and seeing our wounded veterans honored at the same time, I could absolutely feel his presence with me.
Should also mention my dad was an Vietnam-era Army Veteran as well.
God bless you and your father and his service. He is most definitely with you and always will be. Legendary songs can definitely make us feel their presence more intensely.❤
❤❤❤Love This Lady❤❤❤
This is my favorite song from the Sound of Music! And this was a MAGNIFICENT performance! Well done, Miss Fleming!
What a voice! Too much beautiful!
She brings me to tears on her first few notes. Beautiful, warm voice.
This was absolutely beautiful being a daughter of a retired US army national guard medic is pretty incredible after all these years with my father finally getting what he deserved after all these years I’m so proud to be an American and I’m proud daughter of a us army veteran so proud and this song from the sound of music always puts tears to my eyes because. These walls aren’t to shut out the problems you have face them you have to live the life you where born to live it’s the truth
My father is a retired US army veteran he’s finally getting all of his benefits now after all these years I’m a proud daughter and I have so much respect for our military love this song from the sound of music I always have.
I'm sobbing. My Nan would always cry and sing along to this when we watched Sound of Music.
She's the best.... She killed it singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl
I first saw her at the Met Opera in 1991. And she still sounds terrific 32 years later!
Thank you. Big crowd!
I would travel many miles just to listen to her. Can't wait til the next time.
Best rendition I've heard
Renee Fleming. one of the world's great sopranos
America’s Diva
this woman gets better and better looking with age!
Beautiful voice 😊
😇 Ok ! Will tray it ✨💞💫
💎❗
💜💜💜💜💜👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I suspect Renee spent time with the military families before the concert. They are all looking at her with adoration. Beautiful song, beautifully performed.
Can't wait til the next performance. This one as all are spectacular.
....
Who DOESN’T adore Renée???
Stunning!!!!

❤💋💋
So sorry to say. Sang very well. Beautiful. But this is a happy encouraging song, and the tone of here voice is sad….
Not as good as Constance Shacklock in the 1960's London stage production. You really have to sing this as if it is an operatic aria not a show tune.
Why does Renee Fleming ruin this song with the Broadway stylizations (which the Broadway version didn't use lol)? This would be so magnificent if she just sang it straight.
Like salt, a _little_ vibrato goes a looong way 🙄
that is the worst use of that voice
