Shahzad made it to the point, We cannot do miracle in a country with 1.3 b population where many of us are trying to get commodities without a tax invoice in order to avoid GST, many of us always think of Govt. for all works even it is possible frm us do it, many of us busy in recording accidents instead of helping them, many of us always blaming for everything instead of providing correction measures for those, many of us always try to pull the legs of our own frnds who r climbing instead of pushing him to reach his goal, many of us feel it is not our responsibility to switch off the unwanted lights or fans, stopping leaking water taps, wasting fuel unnecessarily and blaming everything on Govt. Whether it is UPA or NDA , govt changes on every five years but its we to live in the same environment. Stop just blaming and start act towards change, what we wants to see.

Very Good budget touching every every aspect of economy. Fiscal deficit is very much under control. Inflation is under great control as compared to Congress resim. Lot of FDI investment potential. Excellent Budget.

This Budget clearly shows that the government is trying to stabilize the economy rather than accelerate it. This type of budget will never make India a $5 trillion dollar economy. Borrowing money through ECBs can bring a situation like 1980s BoP crisis. The Finance Minister is playing a long innings here. Let's see how the ambitious dream of 5 lac crore economy is achieved. I highly doubt it.
This is my personal opinion. The people who voted for BJP in India didn't have a choice. They are the only party that could do something that could improve our countries situation. Aditi Phadnis Political Editor, Business standard is not so happy with the Budget for sure. BJP party right now is doing enough. I expect them to do more in future. I say you should give BJP a chance to prove us that they can do better than all the other parties out there.

If one section already got the benefit then it is better to focus on other important sections of the society which this budget tried to do . But Mr. Badrinath is only focusing to give more exemptions to middle class. And the Madam is making not so strong and rational points. Except Poonavala others are not analysing how every step taken in this budget will affect our country , they are just critical without having any positivity . Layman with points not relevant to budget, interrupter with personal attacks and a disinterested nurse talking about pain and headache. Though Shahzad was a bit aggressive, he seemed most knowledgeable of the three. Debate not up to the level of RSTV.
Is Shahzad is a spokperson of sitting govt. First time I had seen this type of discussion in RSTV. Totally disappointed. Normally RSTV's discussion is neutralize. Stop call him for next one.
Even though government criticism is important part of democracy, the criticism should be valid. The government right now is facing the twin devils of economic slowdown and need for fiscal consolidation. In such an atmosphere how is the government going to make stellar tax rate cuts or special schemes for the middle class. Plus they have already done that few months back in the interim budget, in fact the PM-KISAN, reduced tax collections due to increase in tax slab will already negatively effect the fiscal mathematics in the time to come. Ms. Phadnis talks about this being the appropriate time to sollow bitter pills to cure the disease, but she misses the point that by not handing out the 'sweet candy' of tax cutes or rebates the government has done just that, albeit in an indirect way, which she fails to see. P.S. Mr. Poonawala should have been briefied about the expected conduct on RSTV.

Ms. Aditi is waste with no good points to make except irrelevant analogies. Her body language too suggests disinterest. Mr. Poonawala & Mr. Badrinath are both very biased in their opinions, so much so that former had some personal comments about the latter. Too many interruptions by Mr. Poonawala is irritating.
