I applied for a visitors visa and surprisingly i got it in 3 weeks which is several months earlier than the dates i had mentioned i want to travel.Can I still travel earlier than the dates i had indicated given i got a 7yrs multientry visa

They will ask how you are related and how long you are staying and how much you have and when you are leaving. Maybe they will ask for health insurance.

I applied for visa year 2022 February to attend an international conference that took place June 2022 at Montreal Canada. Unfortunately, the visa was not given till May 2023. Since the period for the conference was already over but I still want to travel this time around, for a visit. What do I tell them at the airport? Kindly assist.

I actually applied for a visitor's visa 15months ago to attend a convention sometime in June 2022, however the application was approved in the year 2023. Nevertheless, I still want to use the visa to explore the beautiful sites & landscape of Canada for 7days b4 returning home back to Naija... So in such instances how am I to respond?

Hi Gloria! Thanks for your great video. Super informative. I want to enter Canada in a few weeks to visit my family. I don’t intend to carry so much cash with me(maybe $500). My family made it clear in my invitation letter that they will be responsible for covering my expenses while staying with them. Aside from the invitation letter, what other proof should I have to convince the officer that I can pay for my expenses in Canada?
Are you the one paying otherwise tell them you have a debit or credit card and your bank account credit card to use and if you need extra money you have a channel back home.

You need a visitor return ticket booked because you are a visitor. If you have a job then you can work.

There’s no difference having hotel reservation simply means you have made reservation under your name for a stay at the hotel either you paid in full or half but such room reservation will be under your name, same thing as you have paid for a hotel so it’s same thing

I got a visitor visa recently and my biological brother is there. The purpose of my visit letter I gave while applied a visa is that "my marriage anniversary is in April, so I want to visit in April and we need to celebrate it together". But now it's hard to get there in April. It may be possible in May or Jun.
So what I can say to the immigration officer at the airport if he/she asks me the purpose of the visit?
Because my POV letter has a different date/month than the actual one I want to visit now like in May or Jun instead of April. please suggest to me the best and most practical answer.
