Another great overview of Mexican towns or cities I would not have visited. Your videos make me rethink that. Thanks for sharing Richard. 😊

Loved the video. The Gorditas comparison and the colorful Bernal letters were a nice touch. Thanks for sharing your amazing travels.

The Gorditas segment for me was certainly a lot of fun!

I find it fascinating that the rock is a lava cone! Imagine how long it must have taken for the volcano around it to completely erode!

What was it? 8.7 million years ago? The forces of nature!

My mom was born there and I lived there for four years before it became a pueblo Magico.
This video is dope! If you want to eat some great gorditas with good drinks, come to Bernal. It's very peaceful and a great place to get away from the city to relax.

Thanks for the video! Will you be doing a video about Tequisquiapan?

I appreciate it! I didn't get a chance to visit Tequisquiapan. It looks like a fantastic town, but there never seems to be enough time.
      Thank you for watching!

I am surprised by the quality of your videos. I watched your first video in Alaska...then I entered your channel and browsed it. Should I subscribe or not?
I watched this video and I liked it very much...👌🏻💯
You present the city in a really beautiful and nice way...😃
Of course, I subscribed to the channel
To follow your trips and interesting views...
If you please have time to answer me, I will be grateful to you
The food you ate looks like a sandwich. What is it made of? I was surprised by its black colour🍩🍪
My next question: Is visiting Mexico dangerous? I was in America studying in Fresno, California in 1998. The idea was that Mexico was a very dangerous country. Is this true or specific areas?
Thank you. I wish you well, a long life, and good health💐🇸🇦

Thank you for watching and for your very thoughtful comments!
The food that I was eating in all of those locations were gorditas. Those are cakes made of corn and then filled with any number of ingredients, from cheese, to beef, to pork. The black color is because in Bernal, they typically use blue corn for the cakes.
There are absolutely some places in Mexico that are not safe for travel. I went to towns in the Central Highlands (Queretaro, Bernal, San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato) and felt safe in all of them. There are apparently still places in those same states that can be dangerous.
I hope this was helpful for you!
