Sibiu: Romania's Most Picturesque Town
In the heart of the Transylvania region is the city of Sibiu, Romania. There are not many places in the world, with more beauty and charm. Watch as I spend a day and a half, exploring what there is to see.
Together, we'll discover centuries old towers, the narrow streets of Old Town, the historic Bridge of Lies and you'll find out why Sibiu is called the "City of Eyes".
Romania should be on your list of countries to visit and you will want Sibiu to be on your itinerary!
Music provided by Epidemic Sound.
Having retired in 2023, I now travel full-time, seeing places all around the world. My idea for TH-cam is to make the videos more about the places and people along the way, than about me. I hope that the experience for you is both entertaining and educational. Perhaps you will come away from my channel with ideas about places you would like to visit or be inspired to forge your own way.
I travel slowly, spending four or five weeks in each destination. Hopefully, that will allow me to go beyond the surface to find the essence of each location. By the end of 2024, I will have visited 14 countries and five of the seven continents. Come along for the journey!

Dublin, Ireland: The Best City on the Planet?
มุมมอง 771วันที่ผ่านมา
There are very few cities in the entire world that are a more desirable destination than Dublin, Ireland. When I began full-time travel just about a year ago, my first international stop was Dublin. I didn't spend much time there then, but in a return trip this year, I set out to see the best places to visit. Over two days, I identified about thirty places in the city centre that are among the ...

Nicely done video. Nobody in these travel videos mentions how much Albanaians love to sit outside on terraces. And that many of them smoke. Which partially ruins the experience for non-smokers. It's almost impossible to find a nice place to sit outside without someone near you lighting up and polluting the air for everyone else.

I go to Querétaro after SMA but my original plan was to be in QUE for only one day because my plane leave from there but I can add one day there and one day less in SMA. Any suggestions of what I should do.

Great video!!! I haven’t been to Peru in years… now, I wanna go back soon. Just a couple of observations: your first dish wasn’t a chaufa, it was “arroz con mariscos” and it comes from the Spanish heritage. Very close to a Spanish paella. Second: the picarones aren’t served with honey but with a sugar cane syrup, called “chancaca”.

We provide food (aquaponics), clothing (hemp w/ cotton), housing (rammed earth and redevelopment of urban structures), transportation (cargo bikes with electric motors) and health (natural products/scalar technology).

My late mother was entrusted by the ministry of housing then ruled by the military (1970's) to break a land invasion that took place in the northern part of Lima. She mentioned this stretch of arid land in the southern part of town. When she asked the leaders of tha take over to check the land they then agreed to abandon the taken land for their new promised land and peacefully moved onto what is now known as "Industrial park Villa El Salvador"....... she then conducted a demographics study on the first inhabitants. There is a small pathway that bears her name as a tribute for her contributions.

What a great connection you have to Villa El Salvador! I am so glad that you shared it with me. I was impressed with the attitude of the people in Villa El Salvador and the commitment that many of them had to make their community a better place. Thank you for watching and for leaving your wonderful comment.

What a vibrant and fun city to visit! It seems that with all the monuments, breweries, distilleries, museums, art, and history, there is something for everyone! Thanks for sharing!

There was so much that would be of interest to so many people! I was lucky to be able to get around to so many of the key sites, in my short time in the city!

Lit no Been there for twelve years I hope i'll never live there again (Obviusly this is my opinion, anyone can feel free of loving the city, it has many good things but there are better places in South America)

Woww.. What memories!! I am Panamanian and I visited those places in 1982. I went to a techno-mechanical seminar in Marblehead at the BIRO MFG. CO. I was 26 years old 42 years ago. Today in 2024 I am 68... From Port Clinton I went to Kelleys and Katawba Islands. It was wonderful and I will always remember that visit. Greetings!👍

Really interesting. I visited Cusco before and remember some delicious dishes I never had anywhere else. I also remember a buffet at the Iquitos Hilton on the Amazon, very exotic but flavorful seafood.
