The one about the frost mat actually makes sense. The bear trap is not an actual bear trap. Its a trap that just stops you from being able to move because it makes your leg get stuck, not get it snapped in half.

Actually the thing about how mute,lion and that take damage in smokes gas is because his gas doesn't just attack the body by inhaling but it also attacks Skin, Plus Smoke has a multi Step gas mask that is linked up to a O2 Tank on His Back, Plus Balancing!

Sledge and mute also don't have filters.

Cameron Grondzki If your were to jump all the time with 75 lbs that gets exhausting.
You absolutely can jump in 75 pounds of equipment. Standard combat load without ruck is roughly 65 pounds. You definitely feel the weight but it's not that hard even with a ruck. Rangers and crap do obstacle courses with rucks and kit on some super elite operators should have no problem

Apparently the devs actually did consider giving all the SAS operators immunity to smoke grenades at first, but eventually decided that opening the gates to an operators gear affecting gameplay like that would make things a bit too over complicated, which I totally understand and agree with, countering operators is complicated enough when considering their guns and gadgets, it would be even worse if I had to consider how what they’re wearing might effect their kit
lachlan Bastin then why did they add so much detail into the game to make finka’s adrenal serge? Apparently it’s because you breathe faster with more adrenaline. That seems like overdetailing...
Jacob Bau that’s not at all what I was talking about though. For instance it’s not like Finka can breathe through smoke’s gas. Having detail in an operators gadget is fine but giving them new effects based on their gear is a bit far
well hold up on a different note sledge doesn't have a gas mask its actually just minor filter gas masks can filter out extreme things like toxins and poisons but his filter is so he doesn't breath in anything from the dry wall when he hits it with his hammer because wen he hits it with his hammer out would create a lot of dust also another purpose of the mask so he doesn't get the stuff from the walls in his eyes

To this day I still don't know how they make sense of, "The games are simulations" when some operator gadgets are literally built with intent to kill.

2:29 the reason you can't jump in siege is based off of real life. if you we're in the millitary and was wearing that much heavy gear it would be very difficult to jump.

They run in armor they dont constantly jump in it with guns and even then you can vault which is more realistic than jumping without hands lol

In a way, yeah. Multiplayer is training simulations, that's why you're a bunch of Rainbow operators fighting a bunch of Rainbow operators. T Hunt used to be the real deal, but now it's called Training Grounds so it's a SWAT game with no actual SWAT operations.
The training grounds are the training grounds for the players but the real deal for the operators.
Zofia can will herself back because when she was in secondary school while on a field trip she was about to get drowned by some of her classmates so she started to train so she wouldn’t have to go through that and sledges gas mask is so he would not have to inhale the drywall

Think about it, if you can beat people who have specialized equipment and are trained to beat you, you can beat poorly trained terrorists at basically anything, it kinda makes sense.

There's also a reason to the Frost mat, excluding her elite welcome mat it doesn't have teeth on it. It's just a smooth blunt surface that keeps a hard amount of tension to stop the enemy from properly focusing, this is why when reviving you can do it as someone can steady the operator and help them stand up to remove the bear trap
I love how no one addressed the elephant in the room. How does the lord take headshot damage he has a metal mask protecting him from headshot bullets

WhoseverJet Chief, do you know how strong bullets are? If you shoot a real ww2 helmet right from the front you instantly pierce it. Soldiers only use helmets to deflect bullets if they come from tge sides to bounce off.

Bruh those are extra filters, if the filter he's using now runs out he takes another one. Of course that doesn't happen in game, but that's what that is.
@@fastwing3295 he has a pipe thing running in to then and to his suit, and it wouldn't make sense them being on the back if they are extras, it could be more efficient them being on his belt or bullet vest, they are in a place that is like super hard to reach, and they even have a thing on top of them that is connected to the pipe thing

keep inn mind some ops are wearing 20-30 pounds of body armor and 2 guns on top of that their gadgets and stuff like that and there is really no need to jump, what are you going to do jump in place when the enemy is shooting at you to doge bullets .

Edit: I think smokes gas mask have some sort of rebreather attached to it, so instead of trying to filter the air while you breathe it just has an endless loop of air

You answered your cant jump question with the wood question. There's too much weight on them to jump. Also, pulses heartbeat sensor is a transducer i think because of the sound it makes, which can detect when objects are. Thats how people find fish.

Thatcher is missing a filter mute taped his valve and sledge should be dead because he has no filters Finka leaves the top of her head exposed the only person who should be alive is Lion since he has the right equipment isnt exposed and is a CBRN specialist

It depends on the chemicals though. Some chemicals are very deadly, and most filters may not be able to protect against it. So it kinda does matter whether a gas is deadly or not. You don't use a 200$ filter for spray painting. More than likely you would use about a 50$ filter.

The answer to most of these is that the lore of the game is multiplayer is a hypothetical scenario used for practice or training for team six. That’s why there is a limited amount of reinforcements and gadgets, caveiras interrogation, and downing system. Although even in a theoretical scenario doc shooting a stim needle into your eye or falling off a building would still prove lethal. As well as getting burned alive by capitao or goyo. I think to solve the lesion problem they could update the animation to show meds being applied or something.

The jumping thing makes kinda sense with some operators like 3 armies they are wearing a bunch of gear with heavy weapons and everything but ops like caviera should jump easily

a person is torn to pieces by about 10 dozers, and through 2 floors, he faintly hears "get up." This gives him the energy to pick himself off the ground and run at full speed into cover and away from the dozers almost instantly
