राजेश खन्ना एक जादुई कलाकार थे .मैं खुद उनकी दिवानी थी.आविष्कार फिल्म का थोडा हिस्सा तब खारमे बासूदा के घर के बाहर फिल्माया गया था,वहां मेरे नानाजी के घरका कंपाऊंड था.मै घण्टो खडे रहती थी , उनके और शर्मिला जी के डायलाॅग याद करती थौ.फिर शुट खत्म होने से‌ उनसे मिलकर आती थी.बडे खुबसुरत दिन थे.

I watched this movie in March 1971 , Rivoli, CP, New Delhi. I knew Rajesh Khanna as an actor but not Amitabh Bachchan.... it was his first film.. as a teenager I was infatuated by his charm... since then I am his ardent fan.... my all time favorite THE Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan is bluffing about the last scene. He could not cry. It was appearing like a laughter. After many takes Hrishida got fed up and called a cut.
Hrishida has said that it was his editing magic that this scene looks so natural.
