Lovely couples. Watched the original house searches and I still like the comment from Kirstie -" And if you want (ed) you could grow gooseberries on the balcony." (As Phil is standing out there.) That couple were a bit lovey-dovey at times...
Is "cafes and restaurants" some sort of code for amenities? Because people need grocers, markets and chemists , and household stuff much more than they need restaurants, especially if a lot of their money is going into house and home.
I don’t know about you guys, but this economy feels worse every day. Prices just keep going up, and it feels like I can’t get ahead no matter how hard I try
Tell me about it. Even saving isn’t what it used to be. Inflation just eats up everything. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a better strategy here, you know?
Most rich people stay rich by spending like the poor and investing without stopping then most poor people stay poor by spending like the rich yet not investing like the rich but impressing them. People prefer to spend money on liabilities, Rather than investing in assets and be very profitable
Exactly! I shifted to trading, and it’s honestly been the best way to adapt to this economy. It’s risky, sure, but with the right approach, the rewards are there
Phil.... it should be' 'who set Kirstie and me some very specific needs', not Kirstie and I. It is polite to put the other person first which is what you did but you wouldn't say, "They set I some very specific needs", so don't say it when you add Kirstie's name.
I've noticed this is a difference between Brits & North Americans/Canadians. They'll say "That's the difference between you and I" While we say "You and me."
This is exactly how I determine whether to use "I" or "me". Take out the other person's name to see which one it is. It's one of my bug-a-boos when I hear people use them incorrectly.
As someone who is currently house hunting, and has just sold 2 homes (mine and a probate property, before anyone has a go!) it amazes me how people don't declutter the homes they're selling...bacause although cerebrally you KNOW that stuff won't be in the house when you move it..there's a niggle that "how well looked after is the property, how clean?" and you cannot invision YOUR stuff in it
I remember both these couples from their first episodes and It's so nice to see them in nice homes! The kids from the dancing couple are delightful!
Dancing for some people is an experience. I understood what she was saying . She wants Space and a Nice Size Space to Move Freely.
I love the revisiting episodes!

I remember this one with positive vibes.
Lovely.

You are so correct! Save, invest and spend for necessities and a few small luxuries relatives to one's total assets ratio.

Waking up every 14th of each month to $210,000 it’s a blessing to I and my family… Big gratitude to Stephen Vincent Marotto🙌
Two couples with very specific needs took their time, struck a compromise, and ultimately ended up happy.
Thank you ❤
She didnt get her garden in bath 😔

@@mattneillninasmom not always. As a Canadian, I hear "me" and "I" used incorrectly often.
Yes! The rule with I or ME being: Remove the other person.

Their original episodes aired in 2013 and 2016. The update episode aired in 2017.
