I just "love" the nonsense deflection "Bats said no killing." "How many have you killed?" Does Harley look like Batman to you, you simpering imitation of Wonder Woman? Also, we're talking present, not past.
Shao Khan is still the cheapest I've had the displeasure to face in a fighting game. From what I hear it isn't so much Shinnok is cheap but rather that his attacks are too strong.
I know I'm late to the party, but kronika in mk11 is pretty annoying too from what I've seen, considering she has immunity to juggling, krushing blows, and fatal blows...
There are several instances of BS final bosses, Corrupted shinnok can sometimes spam that stupid laser blast move that your only defense is to block it, and he hits like a freaking train. Kronika from MK11 can be resistant to juggling and fatal blows and the sort, as well as acting so sporadic with her moves, you get the drill.
The Lantern color spectrum is simultaneously the best and worst thing Jeff Johns has ever created in comics. It's great because it created a ton of new the lore, new lantern corps and new characters that can be used for all kinds of new story lines. It's the worst thing because of how writers have abused and shat on these new ideas so as to make them stupid as hell. As shown here were just because Hal gets a little mad suddenly he's channeling Red Lantern energy. Even thought that is not how the emotional spectrum works at all.
ethonox29 - Oh, I know that Dexstar has a fucked up backstory. It's just a concept that screams comic books. Now, is it more or less comic booky than Bat Cow?
Scraggy Craft Gaming & Stream This was kind of difficult to do because unlike the crew's playthrough of the first Injustice, the highlights were not easy spot (ironically, this is longer than the my previous highlights videos). thanks for the support though :)
Joseph Cocks I imagine there was little communication between the people writing the comic at DC and the people writing the game at Netherland. Which isn’t really new. Lots of tie in stuff ends up having little communication with the main team and having minor to major inconsistencies because of that. Look at the Sonic Boom game vs cartoon. Even the MLP comic series is guilty of that.
I feel like people play up how annoying Ted really is, because I don’t think he’s as obnoxious as people say. (That could very well just be on me though.) Plus, from what I’ve heard, he’s not really “wrong” when he said that that kind of stuff in videogames is cringy maybe outside of satire and even then.
TheGraveKnight Basically giving Batman the most screen time and story importance, make him do cool shit that is actually impossible for him to do (But does it anyways), and made sure that he's suppose to be the character to root for.
I'm honestly tired of the "Evil Superman" story. I liked it in the Justice League cartoon with the Justice Lords(mostly because the rest of the League turned with him), I was alright with it in the last game, but here I'm not at all interested, it feels played out
Jesus Christ, despite maybe Johnny, everyone at BSC are such debbie downers. I mean, I wasn't fully invested in this game's story either, but these guys seem to nitpick about everything.
You should’ve seen the SGB South Park Fractured but Whole playthrough. God, most unpleasant commentary from anyone I’ve every watched in my entire life I also rewatched their Stick of Truth playthrough before it so to see Matt, the biggest South Park fan of all of them, act like a fucking Twitter keyboard warrior was so jarring. Like what the fuck happened to him? He was the one who didn’t give a fuck about anything! Jesus Matt what happened to you?!
That's because this game's story is trying to take itself much more seriously than last time. If you go back to the Injustice 1 commentary, notice how they constantly poke at X character not "realistically" having a chance against Y character but it's possible because HAPPY PILLS!, or how everyone has a snarky quip after winning each fight, or even small things like Batman brushing off Lantern throwing Grundy into space because "he's a zombie, he'll be fine" said in a pretty uncaring tone, or 90% of the extremely contrived reasons they get involved in a ditto fight (or some of the fights in general), and basically anytime Green Arrow is on screen. It's all stupid, but Injustice 1 doesn't feel like it's trying to hide it. That doesn't mean they can't have a high-stakes plot or serious moments, but the writing at least feels self-aware at how ridiculous it is at points. Injustice 2 pretty much throws all that out the window. Nearly EVERY story win quote has to be serious or dramatic, our one plucky comic relief character gets taken out of the story in chapter 3 (and even then all of his snark is optional anyways), all of the snark is kept to what I'd say is a very bare minimum (and the few times people do snark feel more whiney or uncalled for, if not trying to be- again- serious or dramatic), and it doesn't feel like any humorous moments (if any) feel intentional. Again, it feels like the writers felt the need to treat EVERYTHING super seriously. Yes, there is a higher-stakes plot, but that doesn't mean they can't throw in a few lines for a chuckle here and there. Grodd being treated as a serious threat probably sums up my point alone, and if that wasn't enough there's a point where Black Canary pulls out some conveniently-Grodd-shaped handcuffs out of nowhere and it's not even lampshaded on how or where she got that from. Or how Brainiac taking over Brother Eye gives him the inexplicable ability to Copy-Paste Cyborg. Or how Brainiac has a convenient entrance to his ship that Batman and Supergirl can just enter. And this is the case for nearly the entirety of the story, and it gets very tiring very fast.
The whole Wonder Woman betraying thing is so dumb in my opinion
"No killing."
"How man you killed?"
"Thousands."
I just "love" the nonsense deflection
"Bats said no killing."
"How many have you killed?"
Does Harley look like Batman to you, you simpering imitation of Wonder Woman? Also, we're talking present, not past.
"Ultron and Sigma will do the fusion dance"
Dang, Ted called it
57:35 Superman: Don't be naive! Harley's a criminal!
So was Bane, and *where* did he end up in your rule?
They were talking about final bosses in being unfair, have NONE of them seen the bullshit that is Corrupted Shinnok?
SNK final bosses...
Parace l'sia is true bullshit

shadowspider9 Also Relic. Fuck Relic and everything he introduced about the Emotional Spectrum
*Roxas warps in*
Shut up!
I fucking love Dexstar. So fucking much. It's such a fucking funny concept and I love it.
sonnytapman - Actually Dexstar is an absurdly sad concept overall.
ethonox29 - No, I just mean as an out of context concept. "Yeah, this cat can attack you with the powers of rage."
sonnytapman - As well as sad because of the fact that this cat even is a red (Rage) lantern in the first place.
ethonox29 - Oh, I know that Dexstar has a fucked up backstory. It's just a concept that screams comic books. Now, is it more or less comic booky than Bat Cow?
sonnytapman - True.
Well hope You Guys Like the Ninja Turtles as DLC for Injustice 2. Lol
I hope they do a breif comeback where they play using the DLC characters and LP over it like they did for Smash.
34:02 This will always make me piss myself laughing. XD
Now, with the Dark Multiverse, I'm surprised this isn't part of that and is in the main multiverse.
Glad you've make a highlights of this :)

Nice job with the thumbnail 👌
Who was that Sven Hoek clip for? I know Johnny and Ryan weren't phased, but which one was pissed about Damian being Nightwing? Ted or the other one?
Why is Scarecrow in this game? I mean, I fucking love Scarecrow, but he died in the Injustice 1 comic.
I doubt the developers paid any attention to the comics. Which is something you can say for a lot of comics book based video games.
shadowspider9 SO WAIT, NO ONE ON THE TEAM THAT WROTE THE COMIC TOLD BOON, “hey, Scarecrow kinda died”
Or did they tell him and he just ignored them?

shadowspider9 you’re right.
Lazarus Pit? (I dunno I'm guessing)
21:16 Well Ted SJWs are unfortunately a real thing and if Green Arrow was on Superman's side, he'd probably act like one too.
I think Ted was more complaining about them using current-day topics/memes in a video game.
But I can see that, actually.
@@Gamesmarts194 Ted just complains. That's his role. It's what he does in every video. He's the whiner.
Poor snowflake.

@@Gamesmarts194 It is because it's really obvious politics pushing when it's not done right. Just look at Last of Us 2 for proof of concept.
This is a super late question but what exactly does Ryan mean by "Bat-God"?
TheGraveKnight Basically giving Batman the most screen time and story importance, make him do cool shit that is actually impossible for him to do (But does it anyways), and made sure that he's suppose to be the character to root for.
So basically Bat-Glorification?
TheGraveKnight Yep
Nice job
Thanks mate

Honestly you could replace Superman with Ultraman and the plot would probably be the same.
Jesus Christ, despite maybe Johnny, everyone at BSC are such debbie downers. I mean, I wasn't fully invested in this game's story either, but these guys seem to nitpick about everything.
thats what happens when everyone at BSC is a DC fanboy.....minus Ted because he knows the superior side is Mahvel Bahybe
donkeykong75m I mean Ted also got most of his (admittedly hilariously petty) complaints out during Injustice 1.
@@Gamesmarts194 it also has nothing on the Picman 2 commentary
