- The unthinkable has happened... Customizable characters in a Sonic game! Oh, and Eggman finally takes over the world or something.
To combat Eggman, it is up to Sonic the Hedgehog to save the day, alongside two other heroes:
One is Classic Sonic, who is, and has always been, Sonic’s alternate self from another dimension who was totally not originally Sonic’s past self before being changed by a forced, unnecessary, and complicating retcon that makes no sense whatsoever or anything.
The other is Stares the Abyss, some poor schmuck who has PTSD from the Phantom Ruby’s illusions, seeing his entire squad die right in front of him, and seeing the metacritic scores. His experiences have rendered him into state where he likes to sit in a dark corner who stares directly into your soul.
There’s also 6 nerds who don’t do much besides talking about what’s going on... most of the time These group is made up of: a guy who drinks way too much coffee, another guy who seems to know Stares, a third guy who criticizes the second guy, a fourth guy who seems to be the youngest, a fifth guy who seems to have a troubling sympathetic view towards Eggman, and a sixth guy who Vector feels that he reminds him of something...
Oh, there’s also a resistance group or whatever, but they don’t really do anything besides suck at saving the world, getting themselves killed, and talking over the radio. They’re... just here, to be honest.

I liked how you edited this compilation Hyperon. I admire how you did the transitions in the style of how the game does its transitions plus how you handled the call backs to previous LPs whenever the crew brought them up. Good job!

For all their talk of Infinite betraying Eggman, I actually did that in my fanfic series: After my Team of warriors, the Storm Fighters are driven from their home, Infinite secretly plans to let Eggman fully conquer the World, then use the warriors to overtake Eggman and rule them himself.
I would make a joke about edge, but I'm Satan.
Since getting my computer back, I managed to make the story.
Since I got the game, I made an extra Wolf based off of one of my characters, Boulder the Dusk Lycanroc. I even made a Wolf based off of Stares the Abyss, called Stan.
Right, methinks all of BSC's sonic artwork now needs Stares.

I swear to god I've been told otherwise but I cannot shake the feeling that Sonic Forces was meant to be one massive satire of bad Sonic fanfiction writing. Like, think about it. The whole story is about an edgy wolf mercenary who gets his ass kicked by Shadow and told that he sucks. Because of a single schoolyard taunt, said edgy wolf merc decides to then team up with Eggman and get a hold of a jewel that lets him make anything he desires become manifest and even fly because reasons, meanwhile, Knuckles of all people is apparently leading an underground army and brings your self-insert into said army while also giving you a gun and sending you out to help Sonic, and classic Sonic is just...there. Hell the edgy wolf merc's theme is Linkin Park.

Classy Marowak other way around. Mania was the illusion as are all good Sonic games.
Mania comes off as a illusion to me. since some parts of the returning levels are changed for no real reason.

@@shis1988 This. All of Forces problems are because of fans. Fans bitched at the "edgy" reveal, so they rewrote the story to be lighter for example. It's the Josstice League of video games.

Oh god no. No offense but I don’t normally do highlights of entire playthroughs, I just got carried away with this one. Maybe individual moments, but i’m not going to a giant ass highlights video like this anytime soon. at the very least.

There was Mania. Mania is mostly the reason why Forces doesn't anger me. at least I had another game to fall back on. but Forces was pretty disappointing. it's very very average.
