    I didnt do all you said just the first part where i rename the file because i had a hunch that might trigger it to auto update. And it worked! all fixed. I just renamed it like you did and close adobe creative cloud and restarted all programs and it was fixed. I did not use the cleaner tool.

    my problem is that when ever i try to mix 2 layers in after effects a message pops up saying "after effects: could not connect to adobe after effects 2022. please verify that adobe after effects 2022 is installed" please suggest me a solution for this error, jazak allahu khairan.

    Hey thank you for this valuable information, but with me it's the other round, am trying to import file from after effect to premiere which is the same version but the error keeps coming that (premiere pro 2022 must be installed to open this file) they are both 2022 versions. assist if it is convenient.

    I don't get the option to specify which Adobe app to clean. The only options I get are to clean creative cloud, or clean all.

      "specify which Adobe app to clean." if you are having problems with adobe after effect. Then clear or remove the Adobe after Effect completely. But, make sure to back up all of your data. "only options I get are to clean creative cloud, or clean all." I would not recommend you to click on either of these option because it might delete or delete all of the software of CC. 1option I will be just try again by following this video and still if your are facing the same issues then 2 option will be just contact with Adobe Support and they will assist you further.

    Thanks I tried it but i still get the error :( I was trying to work remotely at home (syncing thru Onedrive, not creative cloud file) then i tried opening Premiere in the office when i got this error.. good this is the file is actually still working perfectly fine, i just wanted to get rid of the prompt at the start.

    Had this issue, but after confirming both AE and PR were the same version the problem persisted. I simply needed to reboot and the problem went away.

      Hey, Thank you so much for addressing this issue . These are the some solutions that I found from chat GPT. These might help you out. But if not, then please let me know. “The "unable to obtain dynamiclink server" error in After Effects can be caused by a number of things, including issues with your software installation, configuration or permissions. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
      Make sure you are running the latest version of After Effects and any related software, such as Premiere Pro or Media Encoder.
      Check that the Dynamic Link server is running on your system. To do this, open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc on Windows, or Command+Option+Esc on Mac), go to the Processes tab, and look for a process called "Adobe QT32 Server". If it's not running, try restarting your computer.
      Make sure that the composition you are trying to send to Premiere Pro or Media Encoder is saved and has a name. If it is unnamed, you may encounter this error.
      Check that you have the correct permissions to access the files and folders involved in the Dynamic Link workflow. If you are working in a shared environment, ensure that the network permissions are set correctly.
      Try resetting the preferences of After Effects by holding down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac) keys while launching the application.

However, you can try using Creative Cloud Cleaner to uninstall Adobe After Effects and then reinstall it to see if the issue gets resolved. If not, I would suggest reaching out to Adobe Customer Support for further assistance. They should be able to provide you with a more comprehensive solution to your problem.
