FYI - Sallys has a product called Ion Color Brilliance Sensitive Scalp Protector. It is similar to Opalex in the way that it *SUPER* protects your hair from damage. You just add it to your bleach/developer mixture. It only costs $1 or $2. It's a tiny clear bottle ❤️
A "scalp protector" is more of a marketing ploy for newcomers. All volumes of the Ion bleach are developed for sensitive scalps and contain pre-conditioning agents.

I just ordered mine from Sally's I used two hours delivery it got here a long with my hair dye I'm using just a few min ago I have black hair so I'm excited to see what happens
Hey! Yes, 1 part creme to 2 parts developer. You can also put the same amount of both things if you wish. I just prefer a 1 to 2 parts, but both ways are going to work.
The instructions are 1 to 1 or 1 to 2. I decided to do the 1 to 2. This is going make a good consistency, this will make it easier for when you apply it to the hair!

for protection from damage you’ll want to use the step 1 booster additive, that one acts like an olaplex, not the sensitive scalp protector!

Check on ebay if you can find some. If not, you can use others. Just stay away from the box bleach!
