STAR WARS DeTours should make its way to Disney+ and I wanna see some more stuff added in to make the new cartoon more memorable when it was announced and we need the series to happen!
It was basically family friendly robot chicken. They literally had Seth MacFarlane as the emperor. I don't even care about the animation style, I would've loved to just get a George Lucas-commissioned Palpatine played by Seth. He's so good at it
Watched the episode you linked. It does look a lot better then it does in isolation. It looks like something that will NOT drive the parents insane if put on the TV, which is the best and only thing I can truly demand from this kind of kids show.

I'm just curious, have you watched the Phineas and Ferb Star Wars Special? I think it's easily one of the strongest things Disney has done with the series, and I think you'd like it given what you said about Star Wars parodies.
same i think the humor works but that art style might literally be the worsts thing i have ever seen in my life. even if they didn't use those horrendous character designs the animation still looks awful

I remember when I saw the trailer, I was at first disliking it... Then after the first few gags, It actually got a few laught from me. The mat-painting one was genius. Grendo getting humiliated by the Door Droid was just... Yeah, they had me on this one.
It's really dumb that they haven't released this. I get not being interested in making more, but they are sitting on a ton of completed content when they have a streaming service that is desperate for content. The only legitimate reason I can think of for them to not release it is that there's some contract somewhere that says Cartoon Network/WB gets to air it first or something.
Honestly, I don’t care how bad it looks. Weird and strange are always good signs to me, so I’m all for Disney releasing this strange piece of Star Wars history.

I always had a feeling it was related or a spinoff of the robot chicken star wars parodies (shared voice actors doing the same characters on detours as they did on RC).
The strangest thing is that Disney is completely ok with these new Lego Star Wars specials on Disney Plus, which are also a deconstructed comedic take on the franchise, and yet continue to keep Detours locked away. Disney Plus needs as much content as it possibly can, and Detours would be a great way of helping them do so.

I think detours would've been a cool little show, not 6 seasons but, 1 or 2 you know, i wouldve actually enjoyed it, except leia and boba there...
tbh 3 seasons would be nice. 1st season to establish the world, 2nd to go crazy and have fun; while the 3rd could end the series on a good note.
