That's the goal for Amazon. They know they can't eliminate everyone from side-loading, but they figure they can at least reduce the number of people doing it. It's sad.

I think you hit the nail on the head. If they can’t stop sideloading, they will make it as hard as possible for people to do.

Not only that but Amazon also cleans their hands by not having the device ready for side loading from the factory. The user would now have to initiate that process which we all know why someone would want the developer option available.

I don't think this is happening with all firesticks. I have the original Firestick 4k with the new update and my developer options are not hidden...at least not yet anyway. Maybe they're rolling out patches to hide it for each device 1 at a time.🤔

Since ive been following your vidios ive still have everything working that you have showed me .I stopped all updates and still have debloater working .im suprised as i thought these would all change .Ive still got the original Cinema that was supposed to have stopped .Ive done a full virus check and all ok .Im puzzled but happy .You are the best 👌 Thank you.

Another way around it, is to just download the UPDATE when you see it listed under ABOUT. When done, exit and come back. "Developer Options" should then appear on the list too. That's how I managed to get this annoying issue sorted.
