I'm really excited to try them out! I recently verified with their support that all of their scents are essential oil only. (If I had watched this video first I would have known that duh) I also love that after the scent description, they list what essential oils they used to paint a better picture. I really like their square bottles however long ago that change took place too. I think they have a good amount of scents that are different from each other. I get what people mean when a company has 15+ scents it can almost be hard to pick one.
Just received my order from Husky today and I have to say I’m completely blown away with the quality. The wash/co-wash combo left the hair insanely soft. The after shower products were just as top notch, even the balm which I’m usually not a big fan of was a nice light hold without feeling weighed down. Lastly, Akoni, omg I am 100% in love with this scent, even to the point of using some of the product on my sleeve tats in lieu of cologne. Thanks for another awesome review and happy holidays to you and your family.
I wish all companies offered butters to match oils but many don’t even make butters. Some only offer oils & balms and maybe a wash some don’t have co washes either but there are many great ones out there I want to try a few down the road
Great review man. I hate how beard company’s think all men wanna smell like a tree, cigar, or whiskey. I love a good Cologne smell or a teakwood. I have a couple woods smell oils but mostly due to lack of choices in smells. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been able to amass a ridiculous collection, and the fact that a company of this caliber was able to stay under the radar surprised me. Makes sense with the fact that they are under new ownership now and stepping out of the shadows. Website is great. They have a ton of different scent profiles and products. Everything ranging from oil, balm, cream (butter), tools, apparel etc... Very interested in trying out their products! Just looks like a very solid company that has solid products! Nice carrier oils in their products and scent profiles are all over the place. They have the classic or standard scent profiles and some very unique ones. LOVE that they have their version of butter, their beard cream available. Definitely going to be getting a bunch of their products to try out! Haven’t been this excited to try a new company in a while! Scent selection doesn’t matter as much to me. I’m looking for the following in this order. 1. Ingredients 2. FEEL in beard aka. Quality of Ingredients 3. Benefits for beard 4. Scent Profiles 5. Company Mission Statement/Purpose The top 3 are basically the same but to sum it up I want to use quality products, with quality ingredients, that are going to have benefits for my beard. That are going to take care of my beard. I want it to feel good, and actually BE GOOD for my beard. Then I look at scent profiles and bottling, logos, branding etc... that stuff comes last. I really want to support companies that are doing it for the right reasons. That are doing it for the bearded community and to provide us with the best products they can make. It’s easy to spot a faker. Easy to spot someone just in it for the money, and I don’t want to support those companies! We’re a community! We should be helping one and other! If an owner or face of a company is rude or negative, I don’t want anything to do with their company. Positivity Breeds Positive Results!

I would have to say that scent selection is a huge factor for me when deciding what company I want to buy from. There are some companies out there that I really like and respect, but if they don't have a scent that fits my preference I am less likely to buy. Definitely excited to check out Husky soon. Several of their scents sounded great!
Got two flavor morning coffee and royal black. The morning coffee is my favorite smell but it also not strong. Royal black I like and so does my wife. I got the oil, butter, and the beard wash and co wash. Love the product like the smell. Will definitely stick with the wash and co wash with it having little to no scent. You can use with any scent. All together with the company and product I will buy again. I’m all ready think of what scent I should get next month or try another company. BRBC and Husky beard my go to company bread feels great. I want to try cabin fever and Aconi but they are discontinuing those I believe I like more scents from Beard companies because if I like the products they get I’ll try other scents like beard octane or Artius Man they both have many options I use to use oils n balms now I mainly use oil or oil n butter but I do still use the balms because I did pay for them and I’m not jus gna let them collect dust I’ve found a lot of scents I love with the help Of Dan Scuba Matt and Scott thanks guys and Sam she is good at telling us how things smell from a woman’s perspective
Great review as always! It's nice when a company has lots of scents to choose from so they have something for everyone. I think my biggest takeaway from the video is the feel in beard though. I'm really curious to see how it ranks among some of the other great oils out there. I will definitely be giving the company a try in the future for that main reason.
Dan C Bearded very pleased with their products. Almost up there with primal origins and beard octane for feel in beard. The scent I have is perfect and lasts all day too all around great products!
Love this company, just starting using their oils and balms and hope the word gets out. Huskybeard's scents make GBS smell like kid stuff, and GBS has been my go-to for years!

This was actually the company I bought my first oil and brush from when I started growing my first beard; I've moved on to other companies since then, but I still love that Woodstock scent and have been thinking of buying some of it again for months now haha.

I personally love when a company offers a wide selection of scents. That's what is going to get me to make a purchase (after I see they're using all the right ingredients.) A wide selection tells me the company is dedicated to their products and puts effort into them. Creating scents ain't easy!
Is the boars hair brush 100% boars hair?Or is it a mix of boars hair and synthetic?I bought one from Smooth Viking that claimed to be 100% boars hair but after cleaning it I have my doubts.
Man! That sure was a long one!😁... Didn’t know about slapping a mint leaf to active it, guess you learn something new every day lol! Personally, I’m a very minimalistic person, anything more than 5-6 options overwhelmed me a little bit (I grew up in societies where you didn’t have too many options or choices with everything, you learned to be happy with what was being offered) but I do understand that everyone is different in preference and having a plethora of options accommodates everyone.
I have realized I really like the interactions i have with the different companies as part of the buying experience. I will contact them and find what their favorites are and sometimes buy that. i also heavily use a thing called ask-a-dan. This method has lead me to a lot of purchases.

As long as they offer my scent profiles it’s a go for me. But it also has to be a 1 stop shop as well. I love sweet scent profiles as well as fresh scents, Forest/wood scents too. They have to have nice brushes, combs and a nice thick butter as well. I like to have a co wash and a dripping beard wash to buy together. Customer service is another huge factor, if they aren’t awesome, making it feel personal as well as professional I can’t go with them. Another factor is if you have reviewed them. Me & my wife weigh heavily on your reviews. If the reviews aren’t in from Dan C then we wait on it for now. And plus they should offer a Dan C promo code because I want to help support the channel wherever I can. So quite a few things for me and my family but once they hit the mark I’m a loyal customer.
Yea, i want to have multiple scents to choose from. At least 3 or 4. I've been wanting to try seven potions balm and wax for sooooooooo long but they only have 2 scents to choose from. Wood which I've never tried and dont really want to, and Citrus Tonic which is nice but not always. I have the wash and idk if the balm smells different or the same, but still. If they had some more scent selections, even a unscented, then I would've had them in my collection by now.

If they don't have the scent(s) I like, it's a no go, no matter how big or small the selection. Great review, did house work and cleaned up while it was playing the back ground. :-) I think variety is key. But I've seen some company's have so many scent that I just don't even bother. Company's like Husky, and a few other I like, have a good selection but not so many that it discourages people. To many scents and it's hard to figure out which one. Most of my favorites have about 12 or so. Some less, some more but right around that number. Not everyone is going to like the same thing and like I said before variety is key. I know Dan C loves citrus scents but for me I'm not a big fan. I like them but it's not my favorite. With having plenty of options you will be able to find what scent appeals to you the most. I know that in previous review's Dan and Sam may go gaagaa over a particular scent that I'm like Uh, but another one in that review they may not be a fan, I'm the one going gaagaa over. Having enough of a choice but not so many as to be overwhelmed is what I guess I'm trying to say. Side Note: I knew of Husky Beard back in 2017 when I was commuting down to LA. I bought a folding comb from them to only have both sides came unglued and cracked a few months later. I bought 2 of the replacement "teeth" section because they were "redesigned" and it even broke a few months later. I was seriously unimpressed with the product so I never went back. I didn't know they were ever still around, let alone sold. After this review I might have to give them another shot. You mentioned a couple of scents that I'm very interested in, like Akoni, Smooth Maverick and Whisky River (I am a total nut when it comes to Jack Daniels) just to name a few. See Dan, you're not a fan of whiskey but I love it and I know quite a few people that love it as well. That's variety right there. :-) Keep it up Dan C. Love the energy you give every review, even the "bad" ones.
I think 6-10 scents is good. Once I find a company I really like such as the luxerious bastard, I tend to pick up alot of scents. I also love seasonal and specialty batches.
I always go by the scent I like. If I see a company that has scents i like even if it's just 4 I'll buy from them,and if they have 10 scents and I like the I'll try those too lol.
I’m big on scent line ups I want something I’m going to love the scent of in my beard but honestly even with companies that only have a few scents there is probably going to be one scent I like so I’m kind of neutral because I like a bunch of scents I can choose from but at the same time if I find a scent that I like from a company that doesn’t have very many scents to choose from I’ll keep going back to that scent ai likes.

I know Dan C loves citrus scents but for me I'm not a big fan. I like them but it's not my favorite. With having plenty of options you will be able to find what scent appeals to you the most. I know that in previous review's Dan and Sam may go gaagaa over a particular scent that I'm like Uh, but another one in that review they may not be a fan, I'm the one going gaagaa over. Having enough of a choice but not so many as to be overwhelmed is what I guess I'm trying to say.
Side Note: I knew of Husky Beard back in 2017 when I was commuting down to LA. I bought a folding comb from them to only have both sides came unglued and cracked a few months later. I bought 2 of the replacement "teeth" section because they were "redesigned" and it even broke a few months later. I was seriously unimpressed with the product so I never went back. I didn't know they were ever still around, let alone sold. After this review I might have to give them another shot. You mentioned a couple of scents that I'm very interested in, like Akoni, Smooth Maverick and Whisky River (I am a total nut when it comes to Jack Daniels) just to name a few. See Dan, you're not a fan of whiskey but I love it and I know quite a few people that love it as well. That's variety right there. :-)

I think 6-10 scents is good. Once I find a company I really like such as the luxerious bastard, I tend to pick up alot of scents. I also love seasonal and specialty batches.

I always go by the scent I like. If I see a company that has scents i like even if it's just 4 I'll buy from them,and if they have 10 scents and I like the I'll try those too lol.

I’m big on scent line ups I want something I’m going to love the scent of in my beard but honestly even with companies that only have a few scents there is probably going to be one scent I like so I’m kind of neutral because I like a bunch of scents I can choose from but at the same time if I find a scent that I like from a company that doesn’t have very many scents to choose from I’ll keep going back to that scent ai likes.
