Had no idea that sending a signal from Reaper to OBS on another PC without also going through OBS on the Reaper PC too was so simple. Previously I was just running reaper on the same PC as OBS but it was getting way too hot. Thanks a million man!
Hi Daniel, Just wanted to say thank you your time and efforts spent making this video. I know that it takes a lot and so we appreciate you. My condolences about your father. I did not know. God bless you my friend
Great to see you. Condolences about your father . actually am trying to do something very similar but want to do a different workflow . Can I hire you as a consultant?
Hi thanks for sharing, but if you do not use midi only mics and guitars but still want high quality audio (and video) how you do it then? Who is reaper? sounds a little scary I am afraid
Why do you use headphones, in the early days of livestreaming we had yo use a lot of trix like using two computers and stuff. But today with all the new gear and ways of live streaming there is no need for that.
@Uzrdinma that's true the m32 card takes the sound directly from the preamps but you can use the 16 ultranet outputs if you're not already using them for something else
@Uzrdinma in the ultranet page you will assign outputs 1-16 to direct out channel 1-16 and set the tap points to input+mute Then in the card page you're gonna assign outputs 1-16 to ultranet 1-16 But you only get the mute for those 16 channels You can have 6 more channels with mutes if you also use the aux out page and assign out 1-6 to direct channel out 17-22 and set the tap points to input+mute and in the card page assign 17-24 to aux 1-6/M But the rest of the channels will go without the mute
@@danielkharrat hi Daniel. So I used the Reastream standalone on FL Studio. The master fader control isn't controlling the volume in OBS. For example, when reduce to the lowest on FL Studio, I'm still hearing sound in OBS
the 169.254.x.x is called APIPA. it's when there is no DHCP server available to hand out a 192.168.0.x address. your 4G modem is acting as the DHCP server and your switch, being just a switch, does not hand out IPs. hope that makes sense. thanks for the great tips!
Hey man I appreicate your work man.. You're videos have changed the audio of a church all the way in East Afrixa, Kenya to be specific. So I have a slight emergency here, I am using Reaper with the x32 xusb expansion card for streaming. My issue is I need to send the audio via network to another computer that streams the video for our Yiutube and television channel. The problem arises when using Voicemeeter to catch the audio I being output from the laptop connected to the x32 and a Voxengo recorder vst plugin. I cant seem to get the audio to register while on rec mode, but in lkay mode it works fine. But I need to stream live while recording if possible. I thjnk thebproblem has something to do with the fact that I cant see any action on the main master fader in Reaper while recording, after recording its fine. Can you help please? Much appreciated , you're the best man. God bless you brother. Clarence.
@@danielkharratHey bro. 😊 Im using Vmix to stream on our broadcast pc located in another room in our church building. I would like to record while streaming if possible but if not, I will settle for the stream alone cause it's upgrading our stream quality.
Okay the problem isn't on the Vmix side. It's in Reaper. I am sending the signal from Reaper's master channel, but it doesn't show my live input only playback. I'm trying to figure out how to get my live input from the X32 currently in Reaper 32 tracks setup and armed to record, I can see inputs but I don't have an output in the master channel. If I can get that I am good to go. Could I send you pics of what I'm working with? Like I said, in the X32 playback mode it works perfectly but when it's in rec mode, somehow the signal disappears in the master fader in Reaper.

Hey Daniel thank you for the information
Quick question what’s ASIO
ASIO stands for Audio Stream Input/Output
It's just a way for your computer to communicate with the audio interface
@@danielkharrat is there a video that shows how to set it up
@@SveinKt I'm showing it in this video
@@danielkharrat thank you so much would this work the same for the x32 berhinger

Hello Danny pls when are you going to a video about stereo exciter on the Midas m32? Will be very much appreciated
Hi Daniel. The USB routing doesn't work for the M32 board. I can't sync muting on the board with the DAW
