It's one of the worse/more hated games in the series for the absolute fuckery of the underground stage sets that aren't even used, the horribly convoluted puzzles, and general hamfisted plot... Goddamn if it isn't iconic though.
So relatable watching Joe experience the seven stages of grief while realizing how insane this game is. Same shit happened to me when I was 19 playing this fresh out the box
As both a historian with an interest in Ancient Greece AND a pagan who worships the Greek Gods AND a fan of Joe, this game and playthrough are right up my alley and I'm SO EXCITED to watch it!!
Joe slowly losing his mind and grasp of reality because of that hell area behind the stage was sending me lmaoooo 😂 especially the nancy’s mom being a dragon freudian slip
Re: the story about the teacher printing everything off the Internet I worked for an insurance broker in San Diego who would have us print out all of her emails, write her responses on them, and then have us write the clients back with what she wrote on the emails. Lady had no idea how to use the Internet, and when she got her laptop for the first time, me and another co-worker had to teach her how to use the trackpad, how to right-click, how to open & close browsers, etc. She had emails and records dating all the way back to 1990, when she was using typewriters still. The woman was a living fossil and I hated her lmao.
You did an AMAZING job at the puzzles in this one!! You figured them all out so quickly! I agree this game is absolutely unhinged and the devs must have been on shrooms making it lol One suggestion I have for the next stream is to talk to the hardy boys about everything throughout the game. There’s a lot of character backstory you miss otherwise. Also if you click on the fruit tree in the underworld a couple of times it gives you an Easter egg ;)
Finally catching up on this after the holidays! I honestly adore this game. I know it’s considered one of the lesser ones but it’s just so ridiculous I can’t help but love it. I’ve played it a million times and I still can’t figure out how the hydraulics on the set are supposed to work?
omg Joe you should play the Agatha Christie games!! I've played Murder on the Orient Express and And Then There Were None, they're pretty fun and play similarly to Nancy games
Jason being the name might be a bad translation but it reminds me of the tiffany problem. Where the name tiffany is actually from like the 1300s but no one believes that because it sounds so modern.
I'm only about ten mins into this video but I'm hoping to understand the lower level set.. HOW DOES IT WORK. How does the audience see it? How does it work😂 I've seen brutal moose do this game and I still don't understand. Hoping for clarity from our favorite sausage sleuth ❤
This game is unhinged, confusing, yet so obvious it is amazing

Nancy absolutely just screaming and running between the museum and the theatre 😂😂😂

Same! This game is just wild

I still think it is a crime that you don't have more subscribers and views. You are my new fave YT.
It was so vindicating seeing you go through the "The plot is so obvious they aren't even being overt" that we all went through
Joe slowly losing his mind and grasp of reality because of that hell area behind the stage was sending me lmaoooo 😂 especially the nancy’s mom being a dragon freudian slip
As a mythology gay I was so sad I missed this live! Especially the part where you said Nancy's mom was a dragon

YAY! Another Nancy Drew game! Love these Joe, they always bring my spirits up. I can't wait to hear you react to all the nonsensical dialogue lines.
Your "What Dreams Are Made Of" performance was flawless!
Discussing your anxiety eating with others and seeing chat shared similar experiences made me feel so seen! I’m so glad I found your channel ❤️❤️

Oh, you know it's a good one just from the title page.
I was obsessed with this one as a kid!!!!
not this not nancy's mom is a dragon
