@@GunnerHove I got a German Warwick Corvette and an American Fender Jazz Bass, can't decided which I prefer, depends on the day lol, they are both great instruments though.
I like this kid's style! got all the basses covered (see what I did there) :) but for real, good playing! this was a great random video to pop up, I loved watching it, that is an awesome bass collection!
oh, and I love that you have a Fleabass! I have never played one but have always wanted to, I am jealous of that one. I saw you slappin Flea style, that is the slap style I learned first, I find that in some situations that style sounds the best, and for others Victor Wooten style sounds right, but I recommend learning both styles. then there is Marcus Miller style, I have practiced that a bit, but it is my least favorite I think, he does it well though, that's undeniable. keep on jammin!
I rarely do the Flea style of slapping, but the basses I did slap on had a Flea thing going so I tried to imitate him. I much prefer a Marcus Miller/Mike Gordon style of slapping regularly.
@@GunnerHove lol, if you could spend all your gig money on music equipment, then you aren't paying your own bills. That said, I did the same thing when I was younger, man I had alot of gear, and I loved it. don't get into bad habits that will lead you to pawn most of them, trust me, just... don't do it.
Timing needs some work but some decent tones
That third one took the term "axe" quite literally. Super cool.
It's the axe bass of gene Simmons from kiss🤟;)
Green one is super funky!! Like Daryl from BadBrains. That ace looking one sounds very faith no more ish. Gnarly
1:17 my favorite🤎
Number of basses needed =current number of basses + 1
Joe Dart bass is on the way
Man that jazz bass sounded way better than any of the other basses
The red Schecter also sounded very good if you are into that kind of metal sound
Those two are my go-to basses live
I see a lot of people playing warwick basses
It’s on the bucket list
