- Vignesh Shanmugam had a very painful experience when, after more than a decade of loyal service to an organization, he was given the golden handshake or the pink slip with minimal notice. And even before he could recover from what he thought was the lowest point of his life, he was delivered more blows!
It was during his lows that he discovered an amazing secret - that the more he worked for His God, Sathya Sai, the more his Swami took care of his work and travails! Hear to his narrative on how he was convinced that though working for God seems harder, it is more fulfilling and joy-filling and actually becomes easier because of that!
As of February 2023, Vighnesh serves as the National President of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) in Australia and his experience is an inspiration for many.

Swami is instrumental in my career path, he has guided me to employment which itself is seva. He helped me through a difficult time at work by giving me redundancy so I did not resign myself. Then another seva opportunity part time so I could also help look after my grand children and my pregnant daughter. Finally when my financial situation changed, Swami's Grace has granted me another seva opportunity with an abundant salary. Only by his Grace, In his time, exactly what is right for Me. He is the Doer . Jai Sai Ram 🙏

🙏 Sairam sir, well said, working, managing both ..our office work and organisation work is real challenging..while it may be smooth sailing easy to govt.employees..its not so with employees working in private sectors working overtime.. leave hassels, one has to choose either one..
That is so true. We need to build our communication system with Swami which is unique for everyone. His responses are also unique and he tests us also in different ways. But, if we are firm in our faith, Swami's grace is perpetual. Om Sai Ram 🙏

Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience related to work. My biggest takeaway was that we must have clear priorities in life. If we prioritise Swami and doing His work then we will see Him doing and taking care of all our work. Perhaps that is why Swami says, all work is His work, so even when it comes to doing our secular work if we think we are doing it for Swami and that it is His work, it automatically becomes an offering and we are serving Him all the time.

I sometimes feel heavy in my head every time I hear stories about personal career, personal family like that. because Swami has told me that once a person prayed to Swami for a job, then he got it, then asked for a position, he got it. then she asked Swami for a wife, she got it. then married praying to get children, he got. Swami said that now you have 8 legs before only 2 (two are already difficult especially 8 legs will be a lot of burden) it turns out that later he came to Swami again after a long time of not showing up crying and begging to be saved from his family because his wife and children are hostile to him, his father and mother quarrel with his wife, the whole situation turned upside down. So I said, you asked for it yourself, now those legs are wrapped around you, like a snake. and ut swallow you. because lot of seek carier family and stop serving or active in center, just disepear like tht
Worldly work is not at all but for livelyhood makes a lot when happened to engage in spiritual almighty s work

excellent satsang. God approaches us in the same way we approach Swami. If we practically approach Swami, Swami also grace us practically.
Do Sai's work and sai will do your work, how? I am a sai devotee since 52 years and a seva dal volunteer since 50 years. Swamy selected us as seva dal volunteers in 1972 but today if we go to Brindavan the Seva Dal leaders say YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. This is the first organisation in the world which tells its people you are not welcome here. Go to Swamy's hospital and do duty. When we go and stand on duty at the Sai hospital the Doctors on duty look at us from a distance and comment in a way that we can also hear "I DONT KNOW WHY THEY SEND OLD AND ELDERLY PEOPLE HERE" Swamy never talked about age for seva. I was the first person who after singing in a samithi bhajan was told at the end of the Bhajan dont sing in future you are not welcome to sing in samithi bhajan as a lead singer. I have been a school choir singer since 1964. Whenever I go to Swamy's hospital and do seva for a few months I loose my earning by losing my job in the organisation where I work and this has happened number of times. Sai Ram

Definitely GOD is good not the people and the people in the sai organisation. They do not allow you to do service. Sevadal is a voluntery service but the leaders incharge dop not allow people to do seva these days.
@@veeraraagavan7653 I am not sure which organisation you refer to here dear Veera, but that doesn’t matter, what does matter and what I do know is that God Himself is installed in each of these people, as He is in your wonderful Self. All the experiences that have come to you are just messages from God, or redirections, to lead you closer to Him, within yourself. Read between the lines in your experiences so that you can find the hidden messages, ask God and your inner wisdom for help in their interpretation, and then move forward joyfully, in the realisation that all these seemingly painful experiences were really the love of God, in His yearning for us to grow and move forward. Then feel the freedom and lightness of forgiveness as you can now give thanks to, and have compassion towards those personalities that delivered those valuable insights to you. @@unitymum My dearest, I am refering to our Sathya Sai organisation in general and Seva Dal in particular. But your kind reply is a very great solace to me as I also understand that we cant be in all organisations which we like. We can always be with The Lord Sai whom we all adore. For sometime I used to feel bad that I am not able to do seva dal duties at Brindavan. Slowly I started experiencing and feeling that My Beloved Sai is with me all the time. My wife speaks very insulting about Swami sometimes. I sit in the interiors of my house in a lonely place and used to cry. One such time i read an article of Aravind Balasubramanya on You tube. regarding visualising Swami's presence. From that day onwards when I am in sorrow or pain when my wife talks bad about Swami I just go into my inner room and I visualise SWAMI standing in a part of the room and showing me action as if he is telling me put your palm of the hand against your mouth. Keep quiet, keep silent. everything will be alright. Now whenever I visualise I have My Beloved Swami near me and advicing me. HE IS MY ONLY GOOD ADVICER AND MY CLOSE COMPANION NOW. Jay Sai Ram
