Suggestion: “Nuke dropping” Drop players as Terran and bring along a Ghost with a nuke. Theory is they come running to save the base and the nuke hits their army or they are forced to take your drop damage.
or just kill the ghost lmao
And cloak the ghost and disable auto attack before loading to hide it more!
That's almost meta by the way. What you do is you lead the medivac with three cloaked ghosts in "silent" mode, and nuke all three mineral lines at the same time. It is necessary to time it the best you can because the other two alerts won't probably be heard. And yes, your opponent will find red dot in every base but realistically, he will be searching for one red dot, so he saves workers in one base and 3 seconds later he loses 40 in the other two. Sounds easy but the hard part it not to die while doing this kind of investment.

Captain, I've noticed your audio levels have been a bit low the last couple of videos - not sure if I'm the only one.
Also for game 2 - I think the default zerg comp against mech is roach/ling/bane/corruptor + attack upgrades (hydras are still a massive trap) - though you would know better than 99% of us.

I was expecting more 2 base all-in games, not just one of the 3 in the video. It's a cool strat, I want to see more! Also, you could elevator lings as well as banes. Morph 2x drop overlords and elevator 8 lings and 4 banes. Could keep ling flooding and elevatoring them in, then morphing once they're in the base. Seems cool.

Double drop from both angles seems like it'd be op; you could pincer their worker line, and then move in on a forward base with your ling flood.
The issue is pulling off a drop and have a ton of lings at the same time

Hello, nice video! Also, I wanna ask you about how do you switch between your hatcheries in the command group? I tried pressing the tab or group key multiple times, but it always brings the screen to the closest one
He’s using camera locations I think - search “setting starcraft camera locations” on TH-cam for specifics, you hotkey camera locations to the F keys like F1, F2 etc
took me some minutes to realize the video wasnt speeded up, crazy what a paste... insane
i actually do the baneling drop im high diamond low master, i find i actually put myself so far behind that even if it goes off flawlessly im behind i find a drop of 2 banes and 4 lings in each works better
Suggestion: as zerg, your units can't move outside your creep. (Easy mode, drones can to create bases)

Lurker drops ? Has anyone attempted this ?!
sadly infestors are the only solution to mech once too many bcs and thors are out, it's a meat grinder and your zerg units get shred before they can really get into attack range.
Im a diamond 3/2 zerg and i played against Angry in one of those ingame tournaments that nobody plays XD I got clapped, he played the same BC opener

lurker drops seems to be a great idea ... doesn't it?
For this series, yeah probably. But in a real game they usually are just too expensive and 2 lurker kill mineral lines relatively slowly due to the worker movement, especially if there is a battery. Contrary to terran they have a hard time escaping a recall or just dying to a zealot warpin (if there are cannons providing detection or an observer/oracle is recalled). So the risk/reward doesn't really work out and ZvP is the matchup where it should be the best. But a doomdrop on a map like Stargazers could actually work very well, but not too different from getting a nydus up with lurkers.
I feel like the shape of their attack is not conducive to killing a lot of workers. Works well with hellions because they come in batches of 4+ and can move quickly. Feels like a worse version of colossus drop, which already isn't that great.
@@henningbreede6428 it works with nydus most the time the lurkers actually get out. And I seen a drops work fairly well. Remember recall has a very long cd and observers are fairly slow since most people don’t prioritize getting speed

If you do the math, I think a hydra and roach are about equal H2H. Roach with more HP and hydra with more DPS. So for the privilage of hitting air, you pay 25/25. Compare that to terran. A marine vs zealot or zergling, you hit air PLUS range, for literally no additional cost. Now I need a terran to get on here and tell me how that's fair because terran "needs" that.

Man, the patch where they gave Roaches +2 range must really have changed the game a lot
@@ferallhamster970 because for what they do, it's way cheaper than what other races have to pay to get the same job done. One of like 10 major sources of imba.
