So the client called company A asking to get lunch to discuss details, and company A disbanded because presumably the client was going to use lunch to soften the blow of rejection.

This is probably the first iodus video where the poster didn’t get the “you suck” approval. I think the reason why StalkerOnly left is because he couldn’t recognize he still had a chance to win. I do think you need to be at a certain skill level to recognize a winning position from where the match ended. Personally, I probably would have GGed at that point as well.
No, Demi sent one in and Harstem even said that he played well. He also left while winning.

To be honest majority of complaints are fun to watch despite not having much to do with imbalances
this is the most meme IODIS i've ever seen, and i sure didn't expect for the guy to actually be on a good position for most of the replay

One of the rules of stalkers only is if you have to pull the probes you loose. Cause you aren't supposed to micro probes in a fight during a stalker only game, duh.
OK, but is it another rule not to get upgrades?
@@borslab you can get them but you have to be behind so that the glory of the stalker is properly represented. If you're several upgrades ahead it's not the stalkers that "won" it's the upgrades.

my opp built a composition that directly counters mine, out macro'd me, and out upgraded me..... but lings are op....... Also, you ain't going much higher on the ladder playing monobattles.
Stalker only can absolutely go to GM and not low diamond.

That was NOT how I thought that would end, I was expecting some like, stupid move out across the map where he dies to a handful of banes or a few lurkers cuz he flew his oracle into a spore. Not "Oh no, i didnt build splash damage against ling hydra and lost once while being massively ahead, might as well tap out"

As a D2 Protoss I can tell that this guy -- for being called StalkerOnly -- doesn't even stutter step vs the lings at all, which is a big blunder imho.
How does an almost 4k player float 2k minerals because of some stalker harassment?
Also had 4 nexus at one point only making two probes at a time. If he just macrod there's no way the zerg overcomes this many stalkers.
Zerglings /are/ OP. Only 1 tech requirement, builds fast, low supply, moves fast, attacks fast, deals fair damage, 6 supply worth of zerglings destroy buildings faster than OSHA can inspect their structural integrity.
Of course it's not like they can't be countered by anything, it's pretty easy to counter them - but for what they are and how fast you can get them, yeah, pretty OP.
6 supply of zerglings:
300m
17-18 seconds (larva morphed at the same time from 1 hatchery after at least 66 seconds have passed if nothing else was hatched)
60 damage
120 dps (168 with adrenal)
CC: 1500 hp, 1 armor - about 13 seconds to kill (9 with adrenal)
Nexus: 1000Hp, 1 armor, 1000 shields - 8 seconds to tear shield down, 9 seconds to kill the rest, about 16seconds to kill in total (12 with adrenal)
Hatchery: 13 seconds to kill / 9 with adrenal (identical to CC)
For what you pay, zerglings are pretty damn good. Which makes it surprising that a lot of people skip zerglings entirely and go for absolutely stupid tactics like roach only when roach is more expensive in all respects and deals less damage). Zerglings are the GOAT of zerg. The absolute MVP carry. They should always be in use for how cheap and devastating they are to the enemy. If enemy has a counter to zerglings, you make zerglings and send them to an undefended area while your main army deals with the opponent's main army. Absolutely trash their bases with 6 or 7 supply worth of zerglings.
The best part of the video is the breakdancing commentary was made before the olympics. Harstem living in the future.

It's painful to wartch honestly. Suboptimal macro, no strategy, a shitty micro despite having 300 APM… If you play stalker only, do it properly at least.

This is the dumbest game I've ever seen I think. What's especially funny is the Zerg-Protoss army strength switch here. Often you see Zerg armies with superior numbers get crushed by relatively small Protoss forces because Protoss units individually are way stronger than Zerg units. But due to StalkerOnly only building stalkers against Ling-Hydra, you see large Protoss numbers get absolutely deleted by a small amount of Zerg. It's quite refreshing to see actually.
StalkerOnly managed to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory !
Idea for a follow-up video: Resume from replay vs. evenly matched zerg, maybe elazer, vanya or the like... :)
Diamond players think they are so clever, but their fundamentals are so bad! Very painful to see Protoss 'wet noodle' (as Vibe says) the Zerg.

I enjoyed the video until the very end when you called the guy who sent the replay an idiot.
Sure he could have watched the replay himself and concluded he left prematurely. Maybe he did watch the replay but he was still unsure because he is diamond and not a GM like you, so he needed some support to analyse it.
All things considered, insulting your viewer who has given you content seems not only counterproductive but rude and inconsiderate.

Zerglings are already powered vs weak Protoss Gateway army, add upgrades to the equation, 2-2, 3-3, Adrenal, that's huge vs weak upgrades Protoss get's melted, no chance at attacking and/or defending, he basically won with upgrades, that's skills, Zerg probably had higher MMR. If the Protoss plays good there are ways to counter. It all balances out when you consider powered Protoss strategies and units like Templar units and Recall.
