Enjoy the souvenir of a lifetime, young man! I was at the Kirk Gibson Game 1 in 1988, and I still treasure that moment today. Thank you for giving me a reason to relive Freddie moment. I may have to go watch that home run a few more times!
I just watched a compilation of a-hole adults stealing balls from kids, so Im glad no losers came and tried to steal it out of his hands after when they were takin pics and stuff even. They should buy insurance on that ball now though. 😊
Can’t even imagine. I’m pumped if my kid gets a ball tossed to him lol. I literally bought my 6 year old son a ball last time because I saw how hard he was working it all game and we don’t go to very many MLB games - then he finally got one and it made our night. So happy for you guys, don’t ever sell that ball, that’s a lifetime story.
Am so happy a very intellectual you man, with a huge fanatism for the boys in blue is the proud owner and not a bunch of bruiser to wrestle it out... Like the yankees fans to 50. Go Dodgers
I don't think you're a dad , a moment, souvenir like that always belongs to your son... He secured in a crazed stadium from crazy fanatics for his son.
@rhodagunn5075 are you kidding me? Freeman didn't play baseball his entire life to end up hitting a grand slam in the world series and not deserve it to be returned... the kid should get a signed ball, bat, authentic jersey and hat, GA tickets for next season and a one on one catch with him on the field... that ball is probably personally worth more to Freeman than the world series ring that he gets... name one kid who plays baseball and doesn't dream of hitting a grand slam in the world series
@@DS-182 you think Freeman played baseball his whole life so he could hit a walk off grand slam in the world series just so he could keep the baseball ? 🤣 you sound ridiculous. The guy has been through a lot with his own family, the guy had a special relationship with his dad and siblings, and the guy just had a fairytale end to the season with that grand slam, multiple homeruns, and a world series title. I'm pretty sure celebrating with his Dad in that moment, and his whole family is all he has ever longed for. The ball ending up with a kid is stoking the fire and passing on the lifetime memories of another father and son who got it - and mom too beaming on this interview. How could you even watch Freeman and not understand what kind of person he is that you're still on here like a clown, raging over the ball. Go outside and toss around a ball with your son or daughter, and stop whining... and if you don't have kids, go volunteer with Big Brothers and throw someone else's kid a ball and figure out what is important in life and what it isn't.

I was glad to see nobody tried to knock the ball out of his hand or dogpile him. Memory for a lifetime. 😀

Hid Dad got it and gave it to him; probably so no one would fight him for it. Smart move.
Kid has his college tuition in his hands
It's worth far more than that trust especially when they win the world series!!!
Forget college
Parents sending it to auction 😂
To this day, Gibsons ball remains missing
Really?
Everybody smile now, this is a sports story and everyone in America is expected to smile in sports stories, especially the sports announcers.

They have to put that into a safety deposit box for at least 10yrs and then put it in a auction
Awesome he'll never forget that day 😊
This kid is NOW the FOURTH person CLAIMING to have caught Freddie Freeman's GRAND SLAM ball! HE BETTER PROVE IT!
So happy they came up with the ball!
But for the newscaster please it's not 'overtime' it's extra innings!!!smh
😂😂😂... I wonder if anybody's told this kid he's sitting on a gold mine!😏
👱♂️⚾️=💲💰💰💰💰💰💰😳

Go Dodgers
Zachary > Zack Hample
How much is that ball worth ? More than ohtani’ 50 ?
Set for life
Fricken Zachary
This little girl will live this forever being A Yankee Doodle superfan of the World series.
Get it sign
Zach hamper is seething
Zach Hample getting A-Rod's 3000th career hit homer ball is not bad too! Perhaps one of the greatest baseballs he has ever caught.
Wrong title. The DAD got it, kid even confirmed it.
I don't think you're a dad , a moment, souvenir like that always belongs to your son...

Bro that’s my friends cousin
I thought he actually caught it
4get about politics and just watch baseball. This is just great stuff!
No one wants that ball. They want the "50-50" ball.
I want it
A lot of people want that ball.
I would think the HoF would be interested in that ball.
Ball should be returned to freeman.
Freeman would want that kid to have it. Are you kidding me?
