- Join the legend as he shows you around the aquarium of the pacific, located in long beach in southern california. This aquarium is home to sharks, sea otters, sea lions, fish, frogs, rays, jellyfish and more. Some of the exhibits at the aquarium are: southern california baja gallery, nothern pacific gallery, tropical pacific gallery, pacific visions and more.

I love this aquarium. Perfect size IMO and great mix of indoor and outdoor areas. That show in Pacific Visions is great and I love the tech heavy displays in that area. Its sad the aviary was closed but totally understandable. Theres a scene in a random allergy med ad that was filmed there. Every time I see the ad I think of that aquarium LOL

planning a trip soon but it's raining this weekend should I wait until the rain stops? will we miss out on a lot if it's raining outdoors?
Outside probably makes up I would say 20% or so of the experience

This one was filmed on March 3rd 2023 (published on TH-cam May 16th 2023). I hope things are better and the birds are back on exhibit.
@@IntheLoopPodcast Yes, let's keep our fingers crossed that things get better... i'm a fan of Shim and Whatever, the penguins, and I miss them since the live camera was taken down as they were moved out of the exhibit. Thanks for the info!

It was a solid aquarium, but nothing too wow. I really liked the sea otter enclosure and the theater shows.
