    The part at the ends about finding fishing spots was amazing. Exactly What I was after! Thanks

    Awesome video Jeremy! Really helpful with the breakdown. I'm new to drone fishing and looking to get a new setup that can hold a minimum of 500m of line. I've seen in a few of your videos you guys are using an overhead reel with a long surf rod. Which rod would you recommend? Keep up with these cool videos! appreciate it! 🙏🏼

    Penn Spinfisher needs a full strip down and grease every part (every part) and reassemble. Now it will last more than a few seasons on the beach. They are prone to corrosion.
    They are an excellent reel, especially for the price.

    Jeremy , great video completely put the bug in me. except I don't know how to rig a bait release could you give a little insight on your rig or a video about which drones are good to use

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bait release systems are usually specific to the drone, although aftermarket ones can be purchased as well. For all release clips we will have a loop at the top of the rig to attach to the release clip. These are featured on our in-store hand-tied drone rigs

    I heard that outrigger clips can be used, shame you didn't get into any of that stuff

    When you use those baits do you know whether or not they float so the grapnel sinker anchors it to the sand and the bait floats? Or does the bait sit on the bottom….?
    I’ve been trying to get some rainbow trout here in Victoria, and then make a big deal about powerbait floating
    Haven’t managed any luck yet

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on the line angle, a bait closer to the sinker may be on the bottom, whereas one further from the sinker is more likely to keep off the bottom. Rainbow trout are going to be a very different prospect compared to targeting snapper on drones though

    Hi. If I use 60lb line. What size or what weight sinker is best please ? Also I didn't understand bait you talking about, I only pickup Mullet. What's reat three bait please ?

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Virtually any sinker can be used on 60lb line, and for drone fishing a grapnel style sinker between 5-8oz is a good starting point. The baits we showed are octopus, blue mackerel, herring and mullet.

    Hey Jeremy What would be your recommendation for a drone rig to catch KGW in detail

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Star sinker with 1/0 circle hooks and fresh squid would be worth a crack. Something that hasn’t quite been tapped into yet.

    Hi, what google imaging map do you use in this clip. Maps, Earth or is it another?

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Google maps in this example, but we often use a combination of satellite images along with charts such as navionics.

    What drone do you recommend? And where can I buy your drone rigs

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  ปีที่แล้ว

      Drone rigs are available in-store. With drone choice it really depends on your budget, with Cuta-Copters a premium option and Swell Pros also worth a look. We have Poseidon II drones in store that are excellent value for money.

    Aren’t paternoster rigs banned now?!

    • @compleatanglernedlands4318
      @compleatanglernedlands4318  ปีที่แล้ว

      Paternoster rigs are still permitted from the boat, but only one dropper (bait) is allowed. Using multiple droppers/baits from shore will still be allowed.

  • @ia6980

    Drone fishing is not the future, many places are already banned from flying including many beaches, hawaii has complete ban on drone fishing, in future I see drone ban expanding in many other countries. The more you share about your drone fishing-the more people will be buying drones = the faster drone bans will be coming into law. Id suggest you remove these videos if you want to enjoy your drone fishing a little longer, because in near future, you won't have such privilege.

      These guys are Aussie
      The state they live in is more than 3 times the size of Texas with only about 8% the population...
      These videos are appropriate to their business' customers
      In New Zealand, they use bait boats to put out 2 mile long lines with a whole string of baits
      Reeling in whole schools of fish that are unable to be returned if undersized..
      I'm surprised that's still legal
