- SerenityOS actually runs really well in VMware! For some reason the network does not work, but that's not really an issue.

How long did it take to compile?
From the beginning of the toolchain build to QEMU launching it took 10 minutes and 11 seconds

You have a VM for 11 21390, which is unleaked. Is it a typo for 21380, or do you have it?

I hope you configured make to use all your threads that would've made the compilation much faster if you hadn't already enabled it
I think it did compile with all threads since it took just over 10 minutes to compile and most of the OS is written in C++, which seems to take much longer than C to compile on average. On a single thread the compile time could stretch into hours.

laglife question why do you use linux and not windows?
At this point it’s bc I’m more used to it now and MS is taking Windows in a direction I do not agree with.
@@laglife i agree one time i would like to use kubuntu but the problem is im thinking another distro im using a basic laptop because im saving for a pc this are the specs (very basic btw these are of my laptop) core i3-7020U and 8 gb of ram and 155 gb of ssd the problem is i live on Mexico if you want to recommend me another distro then ok
One cool thing about most Linux distros: you can install them to USB and run them from there.
If Kubuntu runs badly on that hardware (it shouldn't, what you have should be good), try Debian with KDE, or Mint (cinnamon, not KDE), heck even Arch with KDE should work. Arch is sometimes unstable though.
@@laglife I use manjaro gnome with custom login screen, because gnome login is unstable.
@@laglifethose specs seem good but just to add anything lower than that wont particularly run plasma well, for anyone else who wants to try linux on lower end

It's indepedent OS look like windows but not linux not same like reactos. It's written from scratch.

Tip for other viewers: If you click the speaker icon, painful noises go away and the video becomes watchable.
