That Bobbi Brown concealer severely dried out my under eyes more than any other concealer I have ever used! Its been sitting in the drawer ever since. I tried it a few times with different primers and moisturisers but still left a dry crackling flaky mess under my eyes. It’s the most drying concealer I have ever used! 😭

Always enjoy your videos. Will say that at age 70 plus, I not only like the Saie highlighter, I am also loving the Saie concealer. It is light and smooth and does not aggravate mature under eye issues. Highly recommend that concealer.

I have so many powders, but since getting this one, I can't use anything else under my eyes, lol. Love your videos, Lisa, and am over the moon with your BK Beauty brushes!!! I love many Bobbi Brown products, including the stick eye corrector and the cream eyeshadow stick, which I have in many colors. The Face Base was too greasy for me as a primer or a moisturizer. The problem I have with Bobbi's foundation and concealer shades is that THEY ARE ALL TOO YELLOW. I have an Irish complexion, and I wish they offered some lighter/pinker shades.

Love your videos, Lisa! ❤I have started using Basma stick foundation and the coverage is so good for my 78 yo skin that I can also use it as my concealer. It blends nicely too so I can use it for areas that don’t need so much coverage too! And, recently I tried the Sephora brand Luminizer …and oh my… it blurs my texture like nothing else! Thanking Sephora for their sale that "made" me try it! 😅
I want to try the Basma stick foundation next. Hard to choose the right shade online though. The Sephora color IQ has never gotten me right.

I am getting the JI powder foundation on your rec this week, can't wait!! I also recently got the mini size of the Givenchy prism libre powder (again on your rec) and find it is the only powder that works for my mature skin. I too have found eyeshadow sticks work very well on my 58yo eyelids. For the BB concealer, would you recommend this for wrinkles over say a ND, HL or Dior concealer? I have LOTS of texture/wrinkles under the eyes with dark circles so I need to wear concealer. TY for this video, ❤ you.
Hi! I am so happy to hear the Givenchy powder is working so well for you. It is such a nice one! Yes, the BB concealer is really nice, but make sure to use a tiny bit. With any concealer, too much can crease, and because this one is full coverage, you only need a tiny bit.
Lisa!!!!!! Love (and already use) many of these recommendations! I’ve not used that moisturizer before, though, so I think I’d like to try that out. I’m guessing since it also works as a primer that I would need to apply sunscreen under this? I’ve got so many cream eyeshadow sticks already, but once I pare them down, I’d like to try the Golden Bronze shade that you’re wearing. It’s beautiful, and seems very flattering with blue eyes. Hi Leslie! You can apply it under or over, but if you use a tinted SPF, I would apply it under!

Thank you! I love Revitalash and also Grande Lash. I rotate between the 2 of them. So I will use a tube of one, and then switch to the next, finish that tube and then go back.

I love this video.. I’ve been using Bobbie brown for over 25 years and agree it is wonderful.. I love that concealer .. it’s the only one that does not dry up and get cakey on me.. and I also have every shade of the shadow sticks.. love love them all.. have you tried the vitamin enriched face powder? Love your list...here's mine: Never found a dupe for Laura Gellar's bronze n brighten in medium - all time love; another fav is Charlotte Tilbury's lipstick in Dancefloor Princess - perfection; Buxom lipgloss in Dolly ; also nothin' beats Estée Lauder's Double Wear Foundation - although Dior forever matte is close but not nearly as long lasting! So many TH-camrs make comments like "I can't imagine why anyone would need a foundation on for 24 hours.....yeah I can, I wake up on a day off, do my AM routine, get called to work at 3pm unexpectantly and stay there til 7am - welcome to health care...Estée Lauder - still looking good- even when it wears off it's not patchy or clingy!

Loved this video Lisa!!!! I’ve been debating about getting the Jane Iredale Balmy blush …. How does the color compare to the Westman Atelier Petal? They look very similar and I already have Petal.
Lisa could tell you better, but I have both now. I think the Jane Iredale just gives a more natural flattering “flush” color to my light-medium cheeks. I think petal is pinker on me. They are similar but I reach for Balmy more often now. Obviously you don’t need both but I think you’d love Balmy. 😊
Hi Karen, they are similar but I feel like Balmy has more color payoff and a bit deeper (but it's not dark or deep at all- it just seems a little richer color). But they are very similar. If you don't want 2 blushes that are too close in color- I would wait until you run out of it and then try Jane Iredale

Suncreen goes underneath primer. Toner, serum, moisturiser, sunscreen, primer. 😊
I use it as a primer so I apply after sunscreen.
Can you put this over a tinted sunscreen?
Is your tinted sunscreen doubling as your foundation? If so, I wouldn't put a primer on top of that.
I like BB products and have used them for years.. sad tho that there are so many new options out there that are just as good and cruelty free.. Ive ditched everything except the face base, corrector and foundation.. thanks for your videos!

Yes. I used the Lancôme for years. Recently got the Dior and absolutely love it!

I like the Lancome, but Dior is my top favorite. I would pick it over the Lancome
I have a product for you to try. It’s a little surprising it’s the tarte hydrating primer. It’s amazing and I think it may give that Bobbi brown cream a run for its money.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks, City Lips, Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liners. I’m curious about the Jane Iredale PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation, but I have very dry skin. Diorshow Lash Primer is on my list next time there’s a sale! What I would add is Grande Lash mascara for its peptides, most tubing mascaras simply for longevity (elf is no longer making my favorite), the Mac dry shampoo mascara, the Armani eye tints, Juicy Pang liquid blushes Jones Road foundation, Lancôme Teint Idole concealer, NYX brow glue, and the Colleen Rothschild under eye illuminator. For travel, I love the Woosh Beauty and Makeup Forever face palettes.
What shade are you in the Jane Iredale foundation?
Bare mineral will always be my go to. People just need to be taught once again how to apply it. Swirl your brush around your face, keep swirling until your foundation looks flawless

Does the Dior lash primer take the curl out of your lashes? Every lash primer I have tried as soon as I apply, it takes the curl I just put in right out. Those lashes go from being curled to literally shooting straight down. So frustrating.

The commercial OTC lash serums don't contain the prostaglandins. ❤
I use Revitalash and Grande Lash, I rotate between the two. It may be in my head but I feel like I get best results when I swith it up
Can you use the Jane Iredale powder foundation without the primer and spray? A bit expensive for all three verses 1 foundation and more steps....Givenchy powder Def. favorite over 60 under eyes. I still can't find anything better than the Loreal True Match Nude Serum for a light natural look. I'm a bit dry in places and the Supergoop Daily Dose oil sunscreen is fantastic for my skin year round. Makeup Forever Ultra HD I've been using for years. Micro fine, works under eye❤ it! And It bye bye pores for a long day setting foundation. It looks a bit powdery at first but keeps oil's at bay.
Thanks for sharing Cheryl! Yes you can use the JI powder without primer and setting spray, although be sure you are priming your skin in some way right before applying the powder. Whether it is with your moisturizer or different hydrating primer. The powder is going to adhere better and look more natural if you have some hydration on the skin vs it being dry.
