Jazzy drum shuffle In comes the groove Then silky surf guitar notes Starts the vibe perfectly Kudos to all parts and production…why it’s my favorite track on this one
This song blew me away when I first heard it. Sounds nothing like anything else on the album. Showed the versatility and quality musicianship they had, as well as a helpful smattering of genius thrown in.
My favourite Rose's tune from the album for personal reasons. This band literally changed my life and I never ever thought I'd get to see them play as I was to young to appreciate them back in the late 80's early 90's but I was lucky enough to see them play at Hampden park for the very last gig supported by Primal Scream. The best gig I have ever been to. It was a party from start to finish and it was a beautiful night. God I love this band.
An American kid w a boombox, floating on a raft down a remote river ala Joseph Conrad HoD, listening to this song, HAF and thinking it might never get better than this.... It did, of course, but what an amazing band from my youth, loving share their music w my 20yish old kids who are falling in love w it like I did. Iconic....
A masterpiece with a blues groove vibe to it. They could play any style of music and have too. A complete one off which I was there to hear and see when they took off for that brief period. Not just a band... A phenomenon.
Haha. Love it. We had a kid from Manchester move and come to our Toronto public school in 1990. And he brought us these goodies. We were young, but we got it. Still getting it. The best stuff.

Hi Guys❤ I never EVER thought the day I'd say W😮 W that "I feel the #stoneroses" because when i 1st heard your stuff back in the late 80s I was in to my rave music an indie music just wasn't my scene I mean that, I was more for my warehouse music ie your "rave" then it was happy hardcore, rap, all that stuff but now im like Justin you deprived yourself of listening to one of the best bands not only in the northwest not only in the UK but in the world. Thank You #stoneroses for enlightening me an helping me open my love and also my mind ☮️❤️👊🏻.
Blues influence, psychedelic influence, feels like a little jazz on the drums, hell I even hear something that reminds me of school choir in the vocals. They just played with music it seems. Key word is play.
Without the Roses I would never have had the confidence to become a musician and play in many bands myself. Their music and interviews made me believe I could do it. Been playing bass since '91. Music is it's own reward, the best therapy. Thanks guys x
Well we have got the kinks, the beatles, the rolling stones, the who, the Smiths, David Bowie, the small faces, led zeppelin, black sabbath, joy division, the sex pistols.....to name but a few! You can keep the smashing pumpkins bro... We're, doing good this side✌️

Simply world class. Reni is like some sort of fantasy musician that you'd invent, except he's fucking real.

The love that you showed me
It started to choke me
And how I wish I'd said
No too slow
I couldn't take
That too fast
I want you to know
You know it
You show it
But I can't back down
It's far too late
I can't wait
Now the time has come

And when this

It'll leave no doubt
So when you've
Had your fun
Will you all walk out?
