      @@TheAverageKitchenNinja tends to make bold statements but failed. lol. Those ice 🧊 are huge and you put a lot in. I recommend to use actual small ice cubes instead. Put like only 5 small ice cubes. Pour water first at bottom, then fruits and couple of ices not a lot. The portal blender is nowhere near as powerful as the Ninja Mega blender which is 1800 watt. It has more power and torque than these small portable blenders.
      I have both blender Jet 2 and this Ninja Blast. The purpose of these portable blender is for mostly adults taking to work and using them.
      You can bring spring water bottle, small frozen smoothie bag and works ice machine. So this blender is very convenient for you at work

      @@TheHailstorm77, how did they fail? The direction clearly states to fill with liquid first. Then add ice last. I have one and I use regular ice cubes, never had a problem.

      @@sparta7660did you just literally not read my entire response? Read again. How big were their ice? Do you know how many voltage watts this machine has? I have like 3 Ninja Blasts in my house and these portal blenders require lots of water and small ice cubes. In fact, you don’t need ice cubes just frozen fruits will make a frozen smoothie. These portable blenders are not as powerful as the Ultimate NINJA blenders that have 1500 watt power.

    I had knock off versions of these in the past. One thing that helps a lot it is to start the blender in a horizontal position and calmly turn it vertically. The key thing is let the blades get momentum and torque before starts crushing ice.

    I used my chargeable Black & Decker blender in the late 80's to demo a protein powder at gyms. It charged with a transformer and never lost the charge when I was using it. Crushed ice without liquid, too. Used it into beyond Y2K. Bought the Ninja Blast because my husband didn't want.a power cord in the way - we have both missed that feature in the countless blenders we have bought since the demise of the B&D model that we loved.
    Thanks for the giggles! A fun demo, dudes!

It’s hard to eat them on the go or to find healthy alternatives that are open when I’m working (graveyard shift). I also sleep in my car while working more than one day in a row. I don’t think these blender are meant to crush ice alone . You need fluid. I bought the blend jet 2 after a video saying it doesn’t blast through ice. Happy I bought my blenjet, it’s amazing. I’m thinking of buying the ninja blast as gifts for Christmas if it’s available in Canada. Did not like paying the $20 C duty for shipping blenjet here after they say shipping is free. My blenjet works for me , I take it to work. I got my protein and collagen in easily without taking out my big blender in the mornings.

    A (life-long) professional mixologist info: you need at least 1/4c liquid. Water is not always the best flavour you can use. There are several medium to use rather than ice, yogurt is one. With powders, you need to cover the bottom with liquid, place your powder, and then the remainder of liquid, etc. If you use anything carbonated, to u need to temper the carbonation before adding it to the mixture / before adding more items to the carbonated beverage. ... thanks for the demo, I am glad to know what to expect about the product: it looks good, from MHO.(my humble opinion).

      @TheAverageKitchen I just realized my language in this comment, the part about carbonation, is possibly difficult to understand. So, I reiterate:
      When mixing carbonated liquid, take a sampling of what substance the soda will be mixed with and thoroughly introduce that substance before completely mixing (unless effect is desired, etc).

    Saw the Ninja Blast at Costco this week. Box comes with 2 drink containers. I think it was selling for about $90 Cdn. Was curious about it as I had purchased a portable blender online (never arrived, no contact from company 😕) & had purchased a Vivitar from Walmart in the US for about $20. It sucks. Vessel goes over the motor, doesn’t twist into it, resulting in liquid going around the outer shell of the motor base, though it’s still contained inside the vessel. But back to your review of the Ninja Blast. I think it was first in the TH-cam search results 🙂. I think it’s geared to people who want to blend and go, like me. Pop it into the car’s cup holder. I like the flip top lid. I’ll probably just stick with my NutriBullet for my smoothies. I just pour into two Tupperware drink bottles with twist on lid and flip top cap for dipping or with a straw. Thanks for the informative video.

    Enjoyed your video. I recently bought this blender, and (read the instructions first). However, didn't pay close attention to the fact that you can't separate the blender from the base when you have product inside! Oops! What did I buy this thing for? I travel a lot to square dance conventions. I don't make frozen concoctions, I just use a plant based milk, etc. and protein powder to make my breakfast. I will sometimes spend 3 or 4 days in a hotel and I want my breakfast smoothie. I don't always want to get up in time for the hotel breakfast. I'm taking a trip soon and am excited to be able to use this product.

    I had bought a Blendjet portable blender but two things I didn't like number 1 it did not come apart like this one does so if you let any smoothie start to dry it is hard to get down and clean the blade with your hand because sometimes just blending it with soap and water doesn't get all of it off the blade and. Number 2 I tried blending it with just unfrozen strawberries and milk and a couple of ice cubes because I didn't want frozen strawberries to be to hard on the blade but it turned out that a fresh strawberry it could not even handle it got smooshed and stuck under the blade and would not blend it was so chunky so I returned it and like this one you can't take it off of the vessel at all though for any reason at least the Ninja can come apart to wash better I still wish the blade could come off but at least you can take the plastic off and spray off the blade I have always like Ninja products so I am thinking this one might be better than the blendjet I just like them for the cordless part of it and the size sometimes I don't want to make a big amount or me and the kids all want a different flavor so I can just make different shakes and just rinse out between without having to use my big one

      Maybe they updated it but when I got the first models of them that thing would not come apart I tried and I didn't see no where in the instructions that said it could only the lid so I had to try and fit my hand down the whole blender to get to scrub the blade but my hand didn't fit I bottle scrubber might have worked it would not blend a unfrozen strawberry anyways so that was the other reason why I returned it@@moeazizi

    • @moeazizi
      @moeazizi 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@CherryTreeBlossom7 It always came apart. You just needed to twist it real good. I hardly ever take mine apart anyway. The way you wash it is simple. Just fill it with hot water about half way, squeeze a drop or two in, put the lid back on and turn it on for one cycle. It gets super clean. I've tried a lot of other brands but this one has the strongest motor of all and the shortest charge time for the battery. Buy yourself another one and enjoy. I use mine every single day for fruit smoothies.
