Edgy Vedge has a recipe to make your own Everything But The Bagel seasoning. You have to buy all the separate spices and seeds but I make about half cup at a time.
I figured there were already a ton of recipes out there, as well as it being kind of a ubiquitous spice in stores, so I didn't bother trying to make my own. Thanks for the tip!
You've elevated something to what looks like a decent meal, which I always previously thought of as a restaurant being too cheap to make real salads. I'm not sure if I'd make this for just me and mine, but for a Summer family thing, this would actually impress. (I'm impressed, so projecting.) Cheers!
Honestly, I thought the same thing. But after eating them, I actually really love the "fork and knife" aspect of it. More interactive? Maybe. It's way more involved, but in a good way.
Thank you. It's difficult to predict what types of videos people will like. In the past, shorter videos have been criticized for not having enough personality, while longer videos were criticized for having too much talking. I'm going to keep switching it up so there's something for everyone. But I did like making this type of video, so there will definitely be more to come.
Thank you! I have a few ranch recipes on my site... the one is this video is a lightened-up version of this recipe: monsonmadethis.com/best-vegan-ranch/ If you're looking for the "real" thing, I might reccomend trying that one.
I just made the ranch Ranch from your Universal dressing and I want to tell everyone how wonderful this taste. it's the best vegan ranch dressing I've had since going vegan 4 and a half years ago
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I have about 4 ranch dressings on my site at this point, but I think this one is the most wholesome and the easiest! Thanks!
They were big with power lunchers in the 80s, I think. They went along with shoulder pads and blowouts. Let me know how it goes if you give them a try!
TH-cam has been hiding me from folks, lately... I guess that's what the bell notification is supposed to be for? Haha. Thanks in advance for watching it! If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out.
Trust me, it's amazing! I even used the leftovers from this video to make a "bacon" fried rice last night. NEXT LEVEL! Mushrooms, tomatoes, Parmesan... they all have naturally occurring glutamic acid, or umami flavor. MSG, the seasoning, is just a synthetic glultamate.... So, essentially, it's a cheat way to add umami flavor without having to develop it. Things like Better Than Bouillon have "hydrolized soy protein" which is another name for it, because brands know that folks are triggered by the "monosodium glutamate" . You would be surprised how may packaged foods rely on it. Every wonder why you can't eat just one chip?
I'm always so picky when it comes to salad. I usually go with an Asian inspired one or a Tex mex style one. I think that I might give that black bean wedge salad a go :3 Thanks!
Honestly, You could take this same concept, and use those flavor profiles. I bet a Tex Mex version would be great! Use a "taco" seasoning instead of the BBQ Chip Dust. Sounds good to me!
I'd love to make this! Question? For the dressing, substitute for cashews? More tofu or something else? I have a nut free home due my daughters nut allergy. Thanks!
Honestly, you can just leave them out. My original tests were using just tofu, and it works great. Cashews do make it a bit richer and creamier, so if you found that the dressing was a bit "thin" you could maybe use hemp or sunflower seeds if she's able to eat those.
@@MonsonMadeThis thank you! I've had to get use to the noncreaminess. Lol. I've went to a vegan pot luck and had cashew cheese, so I know what I'm missing. Lol!
I can’t find the dressing recipe you talked about in your video on how to make vegan yogurt in the Instant Pot. My yogurt is done (delish) and now I want to use some of it for my veggies. Help please and thank you.
Below the video, there are three links... There are the individual salad recipes, and the Universal Vegan Cold Salad Dressing... monsonmadethis.com/universal-cold-salad-dressing/ Is that the one you were looking for? There isn't any yogurt in it, although I do have a ranch dressing that is made with yogurt that is amazing. monsonmadethis.com/best-vegan-ranch/
But you don't have a problem with the nutritional yeast, which contains a "natural" form of MSG? If folks want the ranch they make at home to taste like what they get at a restaurant or in a bottle, then they might want to add it. If you don't want to eat it, don't add it. The tofu does a good job on its own. I think you'll be surprised with how creamy it is.

Them plates be looking like you robbed somebody’s grandma’s china cabinet and I love it.

The first video I’ve seen here I disliked. Just the fact that you’re promoting MSG is really baffling😖 😣☹️
