Personally, I'm just very impressed that after ten years Tom finally figured out a way to get his camera to focus on something he's holding close up. Lol, love the videos, keep up the great work.

I think they missed the ball with the market and price point. This is not a $50 game. Small box game for a big box price. Neat idea, and it works well, but they could have gotten everything in a box much smaller and much cheaper.
The concept of this game seems similar to the computer game 5D Chess with Multiverse Time Travel. Although in that game there are parallel universes in addition to time travel.
Yeah, its actualy feel 5D Chess inspired, but tuned down to be more managable on a real life board. IDK about actual gameplay, but IMHO 5D still create more "WOW" effect when you try to understand all possibilities there, when you send your pawns into alternative timeline to swarm it with your army or travel to the past to actualy save the future. Again, maybe its there too, but in a 5D this kind of "Default timetravel scenarios" just create themselfs. But DAMN they are brain-melty and overloaded with info and possible moves, atleast this one looks like two people could actualy play on a decent level without expanding additional void dimentions inside their brains.
I am a bit bummed that it is pawns. I would have loved the bricks to follow the style/fantasy of the game concept more, but I'm so in love with the concept. Looks fantastic !
I just saw Tenet… what if this game had a fourth module called INVERSION. So that a seed planted in the future grows into a tree in the past..??!! And while we’re at it. Let’s get some red pawns and blue pawns!
It was fun. 4 plays was enough for me but abstract strategy games are not my cup of tea. If you like abstracts and can get it cheaper than MSRP it is worth a look.
I feel bad for commenting on this, but I don't think I've been more disappointed. The name of the game, the text on the box got me super excited for a highly thematic murder mystery game! And then i saw the game play. I don't know if I recall a game with a more pasted on theme. The "past", "present" and "future" boards could as easily have been called one, two and three. Maybe actually playing it, I won't be annoyed, but it feels like some sort of unique twist on chess with a theme slapped on. Oh well.
Ok.. so let’s go ahead and call them 1,2 and 3 now let’s keep in mind the modules that are added into it such as the seeds.. does 1,2 and 3 make sense? Or does past present and future make more sense?

Tom, the "seed" is probably small, because when a "pawn" moves in a space occupied by a "seed", they must fit together.
Love how simple it looks on the outside but complex on the inside. Definitely getting this one.
This is actually very intriguing. A hugely creative design that is realized very well!

This has the best looking box and pieces I've seen in a while! Good stuff.
Thank you so much!

No seal of excellence? Man I cannot wait to play this game!

Exactly what I thought!
also thought of that

I love 5D chess.
I LOVE that cover
Reminds me of a piece by Saul Bass!
Thank you so much!
This looks great, #1 on my future games list.
Number One???
I see what you did there :)
@7:51 "Forced humor in games does not always work." Lookin' at you, Red Dragon Inn.
Tom, did you ever play Element? Another great game and great example of an abstract strategy game that also has great theming
hey I traveled back in time to tell you all that this game will be on a lot of people’s best games of 2021 lists.
Can't wait this game to arrive, the art is fantastic.
FYI if it hasn't been said, the Artist and the Designer credits are wrong
Goes out tomorrow in France. instant buy for me.

Thanks, Tom!
Not sure if i'd come up with pushing over a tree i planted in the past as a way to kill someone. I might be too stuck on other methods.
This looks sooooo good
wait.. you're saying we have a board game with timecop rules? no touching? awesome.
Glad I preordered, it's a great game.
"Is that how time travel works?"
Is there a German version planed?
I bet you the base game would actually still work with 4 players and expand its replayability.
Nothing much has interested me in the 2021 releases - but this one looks special.

You might want to check out the promo pack ;)
@@peterc.hayward8067 How can you get a copy?
Gave me an advanced Santorini vibe
Exactly my thoughts as well. Looks awesome.
This looks sick😍
Looks fun! There are some people that would abhor this game though

A seal of approval? Almost an insult.
I think it´s about time Mr. Vasel and his Dice Tower crew clean up their rating system. It goes all over the place.
Can you explain what you mean here? You think I'm rating it too high, too low?
I think the single best time travel board game is Loop Inc
I have only had a chance to play one game of it so far but The Loop was a ton of fun! Looking forward to more of it here soon.
@@donaldhouf8377 i haven’t played the loop, Loop inc is an entirely different game. I highly recommend it
So 4D chess?
Way better
@@mardel5466 this game is better or 4D Chess it better?
Because I gotta admit this reminds me of a modified Alice Chess with a time focus.
Bacon is delicious.

Push a tree on someone? Sure that makes sense.
