After watching this behind the scenes of Advent children I realize Cody Christian was saying similar things Steve Burton was saying saying I hope the fans would love it or I hope he pass I just finished watching at least 30 minutes of the behind the scenes of the Final Fantasy seven remake
That's why they're truly the only definitive voices for their FF7 characters as much as their OG Japanese counterparts so unlike how Sony took over and messed up the FF7 script and then make the newbies imitate the OG English voices knowing the OG voices were all meant to be part of FF7R, Chocobo GP, and CCFF7R.
With your logic, they should've also find a new Japanese, German, and French voice cast as well, but they didn't so that fully contradicts to the flimsy excuses of so called younger generation when the newbies were voice directed into sounding like the original while the original Japanese weren't even voice directed into sounding young and that they're all nearly same age as their original English counterparts. It's only unless the shady business dealings happened behind the scene that costs the original English voice cast's jobs in order to publicize through the CW/CBS/Warner Bros stars that replaced them which is wrong. You didn't mess it up Steve. You've always been a perfect sounding Cloud. The Dialogue the English Localization gave you and the rest of the cast hasn't always been great, but that's not yours, or any of the other actor's fault. Having to match the mouth movements from the Japanese version didn't help either. Steve would've CRUSHED it in Remake if they didn't fire him and the rest of the cast last minute. George is still, and will always be, the best English voice for Sephiroth too.
@@FrederickGuese I guess. Even weirder is the fact that Christy Carlson Romano plays Yuffie in this film, but somehow she got replaced by Mae Whitman in KH 2.
Sad that the only remaining actors from Kingdom Hearts 1 are Cloud and Yuffie (who got replaced INSTANTLY after AC) the only good changed from KH to AC is Sephiroth

@obitoxshinobi8978 I am actually glad someone else seems to be put off by Aerith cussing, wasn't my favorite thing, I prefer Rachel (AC), as Tifa, she played an older Tifa well, and would have loved to hear her play in Remake/Rebirth. Steve Burton, I get he is flat sometimes, but man, I still love his naturally deeper voice, and the gravitas he brought.

Excluding Aerith, they never should've fired these iconic voice cast everybody grew up with after 17 years bringing their FF7 characters to life.

Bro Tifa has a perfect voice in remake and the same goes for Barret most of them excluding Zack and maybe Sephroth were not perfect but i like Steve

It’s weird to me the fact that this film came out after KH2. Yet in Japan, KH2 came out after Advent Children.
How so?
