    Do you have any idea how much you’re helping people with this? Just with time alone? You are great. Straightforward, honest and non-biased reviews. I’m gonna go for the larger one, hot tools or revlon one. Thanks Malibu girl!

    I love the Babyliss Pro rotating brush but you need to use the cool setting to set the hair before you take it out of the brush. This is how you get the volume and a smooth finish. I have short hair and it works great for me.

    So fun fact, I have a small version of this that was my mother's and it's from the 80's or 90's. My mom used to use it on my hair when I was a little girl and it worked really well. The bristles are a thick plastic and it blew nice hot steady air considering our technology at the time. The brush could detach from the main handle and then you could put on a curling iron attachment instead.

    The last one, I had something similar in the 90’s when the bob with the extreme ‘J’ shape at bottom was a thing. It was great for that. It also had Velcro curlers that clipped on where you took the nylon brush off. Back then it was a god send for my limited teenaged skills.

    I bought the Revlon one and it's changed my hair game so much! I'm so glad you did a review on it in a past video. I used to wear my hair up all the time because it's so limp, but since I started using the Revlon brush dryer, I get such wonderful volume and I love wearing it down now. It takes half the time to do my hair after shampooing too, it's such a wonderful tool!

    A little info on the Helen of Troy brush...I sometimes wear a synthetic hair piece and since you can't use any heat (curling iron, blow dryer or flat iron) on it, they recommended using this to style the hair piece after washing since it gives off very little heat. It works great for that use. I can still get a style on the hair piece...just takes a bit longer.

  • @sacredsiren

    I have the Revlon one, I got it after seeing your video and it changed my life hahahaha... like seriously, I can actually do my hair and have it look great without a curling wand or flat iron. I think what makes that one work so well is that the oblong shape doesn't roll the hair so tightly so it doesn't get stuck in your hair at all... you get the volume and smoothness and shape without worrying about it getting stuck in your hair... and I love the tip at the top that helps you guide it through your hair and support the head of the dryer... just an all around great design

  • @Tmlatyoutube

    I have a Remington rotating brush. I love it. I have long hair but it is very fine and can knot easily. The rotation is continuous and the heat isn't too much. My hair doesn't get stuck and I find it easy to change direction. It also doesn't pull my fine fragile hair out. The result is not as sleek as I'd like but I get some volume.

  • @void2008au
    @void2008au 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I love the rotating brush - in Australia Vidal Sassoon makes the best version with 3 settings and 2 speeds - 2 size brushes both soft boar hair bristles and both come with a guard to protect the bristles. I love that you don't have to turn the dryer. The one I have wasn't that cheap ... I feel like the unit you used I've seen here for less $ so it is a cheaper version. Even Vidal Sassoon has a cheap model and you can feel the difference in the quality and weight. Not sure how that compares with your options but usually the USA has far more choice than we normally do down under ... so keep looking 👍🏻 I think you'd love the better quality rotating brush unit because the volume it gets is surreal

    Loved your review! Real big thanx for this one. I'm thinking of brush dryer for a while now and really wanted rotating brush one. Watching the reviews left some doubts though... And it was kinda funny to watch reviews where you can see rotating brush stucking in hairs and hurting people, but they still say it's good. Why/)))
    I'm definitely going for non-rotating one. Thanx for being honest!))) Keep it up!

    The Revlon 1-step Volumizer is the original Design/ creation. From what I understand heard, the Chinese factories "knock-off" the item & not up to the specifications and quality control that Revlon would (i.e "cheap")--just like a lot of other products. Revlon's Styler and the Hot Shot Tools are owned by the same company, so thequality specs are undoubtedly better, consistent quality.

    I got the Babyliss one years ago when it had 2 speed settings. Trouble is it was too hot for my hair, so hot the bristles eventually kinda melted a bit! I had no problem with the rotating head in shoulder length hair tho and loved it for that.

  • @thabaatballali7493
    @thabaatballali7493 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've got the rotating babyliss. I've used it while my hair was short and when I grew it out and I must say that size barrel is only suitable for short hair when I say short I mean pixie to a short bob (to your chin) and it is amazing I don't even section my hair I just turn it on and then just start rolling it around in my hair and then in to my desired style it was really quick. but in your hair hits your shoulders it starts getting stuck and then you've just got to be really careful and yeah you don't get the same results. I now have my hair layered and I'll only using it on my shorter layer up top just for that sleek volumized finish

    I saw your video on the Revlon dryer and I went to Ulta shortly after and bought it. I’d been looking for a hair dryer/round brush combo for ages and was so happy to have come across your Revlon review. I’ve tried countless hot air/brush combo tools and have looked online for one that blows as strong as a normal hair dryer but with a brush attached because I find I don’t have the coordination to hold and use a dryer and a round brush. I have a ton of hair tools but since buying the Revlon, that is really the only one I use. My hair is crazy frizzy so I normally would blow dry my hair and then go in with a straightener but not anymore and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much for your recommendation. I now tell all my friends about it.
    I definitely recommend everyone buy the Revlon or the Hot Shot tool. It’s amazing.

    I have the babyliss one. I have long, extremely thick wavy hair and it’s good for giving my ends that bouncy, slightly curled look, which I personally like the look of more than straightened ends. However, I bought this as an alternative to blow drying my hair with the round brush because it was so hard for me. But I find myself having to the blow dry the root to mid shafts of my hair, because the babyliss does not work in my roots, it gets stuck. I think that kind of defeats the purpose of it though. The volume that a blow out gives is the main reason I wanted this, bu my since it doesn’t work in my roots properly, I’m gonna return it

    Question @milabu. Do you think this is less damaging than drying with a traditional blow dryer then straightening with a flat iron? I live in the tropics and the weather, water and air con have damaged and dried out my hair quite significantly. Thanks 😊

    Hey Milabu. Does the Hot Shot dryer also pull alot of your hair like the Revlon

    Hi, Milabu. I am a Brazilian fan of your work, specially because of options that you give to people with short hair. Could you please post a video about products, like heat protectors, that we can find in drugstores, for example. You have a lot of fans from many countries and sometimes it is hard to find even on Amazon in our countries. Thanks so much and keep inspiring us, girl 😘

    I have the Revlon one and I love it, but I need more practice. I just got about 3 inches cut off my hair, so it will probably be easier now...but when it was past my bra strap, it was just easy to flip my head over and dry my hair most of the way upside down and then paddle brush in opposite directions. It literally takes 7-8 minutes tops to dry my hair that way and I get lots of volume. I DO love the way the Revlon dryer makes the hair look so smooth and bouncy though. Like I said, I just need to practice with it! Thank you for your honest reviews!!! 😁

    I have the rotating one. It was ok when I had hair your length but now it’s longer there is more tangle issues. Or there is with me and my kak handiness 😉

    Would any of these work for frizzy, wavy hair? It seems like nothing will get my hair straight.

    I love your product reviews! Just would like to ask if the revlon is heavier (amazon info says it is) than the hot shot? I have very thick hair and i would like to choose a lighter product. Thank you! 😊

    I have the European model of the babyliss and it has duo bristles. Half boar bristles. When I had long hair I absolutely loved it. It gives you a salon blowout at home. But I recently cut my hair your length. Hehe the chop was totes inspired by you. And I must say .I now have trouble using it.dosnt get close enough to the root. So I think it depends on hair length.
