NZ Deep South Tour Part 9 - Walter Peak to Invercargill

After a delightful quiet camp by Lake Wakatipu at Walter Peak we followed the gravel roads of the 'Round the Mountains Trail' to Mavora Lakes and on to Mossburn and Lumsden, heading for Stewart Island. This road, being a no through road (or 'no-exit' as the Kiwis call it) was very lightly trafficked, though some of the 'Boyz with Toyz' were a bit aggressive and inconsiderate. At Lumsden we booked a shuttle bus to Invercargill as we were tight for time to meet our booked accommodation at Invercargill and Stewart Island
