Far North QueenslandTour - Into the Daintree 4K

Our winter tour of the far north - Cairns, the Daintree and the Atherton Tablelands, including the western savannah country. We continue north to the Daintree River for some croc-spotting, then once across the river we get the full Wet Season experience... but in 'The Dry'. The rain dries up for one day to allow us to enjoy Thorntons Beach, then resumes for a day that becomes our 'day of refuge'.

Lovely video. You live in Central Vic, I live in the Goulburn Valley and we are both lead to believe we live in a Temperate Climate...but a trip to the Daintree soon makes one realize we live in a Desert does it not!?
