Yes, I will be rolling for Kokomi. Sadly, I’ll have to give up Yoimiya.
Update: My impulsive ass ended up getting Yoimiya. My pity after her is 42, so I still have a chance!
Quick Notes I’d like to add:
1.) Sara’s model wasn’t loaded near the beginning of the clip. This is because before I recorded this, I had to restart my game (It glitched and the cutscene didn’t play + Kokomi’s model didn’t appear).
2.) The reason I didn’t use the auto-play feature is because I was taking pictures, not because I was unaware it existed.
3.) I apologize for the occasional quality drops, this was filmed on a PS4.
4.) Completely unrelated, but I showed my brother this cutscene, and he immediately said “Bubble Guppies”. And now he won’t stop saying that when he sees her. Have fun with this information.

For anyone wondering about her VA, her name is Risa Mei and she's Chinese Indonesian (that probably explains her perfect Japanese pronunciation)
Nice, but its also oddly coincidental because there happens to be another VA named Risa Mei, but voices more on the JP voice.

Most likely, pronunciation in Indonesian is quite similar to Japanese.
It wasn't perfect, though. She mispronounced Sangonomiya. It should've been sang-go-no-miya instead of sa-ngo-no-miya.

Whoever voiced Kokomi in English dub is satisfying.
In the 2.1 stream her ENG VA is Risa Mei.
However while searching for her voice lines, I happened to stumble on another VA, who is Japanese, also named Risa Mei.
It could be that coincidentally, these two are different people, or that it's the same VA but has a grasp on the English language. (Probably that's the reason how some Japanese words sound natural in her English voice.)

I knew I wasn't crazy. I looked this up because now that 2.1 is released, I immediately noticed that Kokomi sounded... higher pitched, more kid-like??? I only saw this scene once when I played but I was for sure Kokomi sounded more mature and grown than the Kokomi we have now in 2.1. What happened to THIS voice?

Did her VA change in the 2.1 update? In this video she sounds very firm in the way she speaks but in the new archon quests she sounds super shy and higher pitched. Maybe just bc she's talking to her allies vs her enemies, Idk 🤔🤔🤔

A piece of lightning struck me during the latter cutscene and ended up killing Aether. It skipped the rest of the cutscene so without this, I would literally not know what happened. Thank you

Idk guys she gives me hard traitor vibes. She acts and is treated as too perfect y'know, almost like a goddess. The guards mentioned that there might be a traitor and immediately after that they mentioned Kokomi isn't there much. Also her appearance, it's usually the cutest, prettiest, girliest looking ones, + pink hair.
It's very unlikely, nigh impossible, that she would be the traitor, based on information we have now.
(Btw, some of this information is only available if you go lore digging, so I don't expect you to know some of it. Please don't take this in a bad way ;-;)
1.) It looks like both of the Divine Priestesses are treated with high respect (Kokomi and Yae Miko), and unlike the people who worship Baal, Oborashi is dead (you can see its bones on Yashiori Island). So far, we've only seen the people of Watatsumi in the resistance army (The people of Watatsumi, under the leadership of the Sangonomiya Clan, worship the Watatsumi Omikami (Oborashi) instead of Baal).
2.)Kokomi isn't there much because she prefers being behind the scenes.
"However, few people know that Kokomi's biggest aspiration has always been to merely be an adviser behind the scenes. Socializing with others is in fact a most tiring task for her. Her hands shake every time she gives a speech, and she entertains thoughts of retreating into herself every time work starts piling up."- Victory Through Wisdom (Taken from HoyoLab). The traitor is probably another forgettable NPC, if there even is one.

I highly doubt that. She's the organizer and creator of the resistance after all. It's unlikely for her to be a "traitor" of her own creation lmao. If anything, Teppei is the most suspicious one of all, considering he has an average design but had a lot of screentime (even in the future as implied here) and is unusually everywhere with us.
She wasn’t around much at that time because she was busy gathering Beidou and Kazuha’s assistance.
You all make really good points, it's just a popular theory on Twitter which seemed interesting, also I listened to her voicelines recently on Honey Impact and I'm having second thoughts, still, I think it'd be pretty cool if she were one idk. 😳

Loved her the first time I saw her. Was always curious who the divine priestess was while doing the quest, and what she looks like. Mihoyo delivered.

I think it's highly unlikely for Ei to get herself involved here since this fight does not involve powerful beings like gods. She would only get herself involved if there is an extremely powerful being such as Orobashi that would appear or attack.

Why would she need to do lots of damage as a leader? That’s like saying why does Gorou have very little dps capabilities despite being the general, even Kokomi can out DPS him via her burst form.

The continuation is in 2.1 (September 1st). So we don’t have it yet, unfortunately.
