Thanks for the effort Sergey! Useful video! I am still trying to do it but I can't understand how I am lifting the diaphragm up without using my abdominals. What muscle do you use?
@@qtocarrose5992 no.. The abdominals must remain relaxed. Try to make a move like you are trying to breath in without take any air at all.. That unlocked my problem..
I do it 2-3 times per week. If you never done this ecercise before, I would reccomend to do it without hyperventilation first. Start with 5-10 seconds. However if you want to stretch longer (and dont have contractions) you can do a small hyperventilation. I typically do 3-5 deepbreaths and then stretch for about 30 seconds. 5-10 repetitions But once again, if you are just starting hyperventilation is not necessary
I agree, its hard to understand at the beginning, if u do it right....spend a couple of weeks on it and I am sure you will move in the right derection!

You have answered me in messenger. Thanks again Sergey! No need for an extra answer here. I think that is a matter of practice.
@@Giannis_Agapitosit takes time to learn this one!
Well I could also use an answer ! You say after lifting your diaphragm to relax the abdominals, which means you actually contract them before right ?

Thank you, Sergey for the professional demonstration. Twice a week is that OK?
I do it 3-4 times, but I think twice is not that bad :-)
Do you know any websites where I can get those kind of shorts like the asia style
No, not sure where you can get them
@@KAIZENFREEDIVING alright no worries thanks
Is this the same as vacuum stomach or nauli kriya?
I get a really nice stretch when extending my spine and doing the stretch!
I guess yes, it can be called vacuum stomach. But I think in yoga terminalogy it call uddiyana bandha

So the intercostals work when we pretend to inhale?
Yes, after the full exhale and abs contraction, we are trying to expand the rin cage with the intercostal muscles
How many times do you do this stretching a week? why do you hyperventilate before you hold your breath?
I do it 2-3 times per week.
