When I have commented before, I was at my husband’s historical family home in Massachusetts that we own now & use as our go to place to escape! I have a wonderful crafting area there in the dining room. Now I am back at our house in Maryland where my daughter, her husband & 4 kids live with us! Needless to say there’s less crafting area here! But, I will still be watching your videos for inspiration & do what I can. It’s cold here in Maryland too!
Rainy day here in Texas. Love the snippet strips. They turned out beautifully. Your homemade fodder and painted papers really add and make them so unique. Awesome video! Thanks for making playlists for your videos. Very helpful as I love to revisit them for inspirations.
@@carolynmcnabb9655 I’m sure yours are beautiful! I tried to use that machine paper before but found it too thin so I always use a thicker cardstock as the base ❤️
Hey Jody, I love your fodder. They look extra fancy on your snippet strips, which came out awesome. My fav is the pink strip. I can never get enough pink. It's a dreary rainy day in CT but still nippy. Your video cheered me up, so thanks for the fun video.!⚘️⚘️
@@dianeolson3777 I don’t classify my other stuff really. It’s too complicated to break every type down. I keep certain drawers dedicated to what I call “bits and bobs” so when I collage I can pull from those drawers.
… no it really is complicated. I tried classifying mine with different colors, shapes and no! I like what you did you just put it all in a plastic container. I luv it sooo much more💯👍🏽
@ Ya, it’s merely impossible to classify into several categories but I do use drawer towers with topics but the topics are broad like vintage ephemera, vintage papers of a certain size, paper flowers, bling, etc.
@@karenbuchanan6249 It’s hard to say as I was in 5th grade and my dad was an iron worker and he was transferred there for one year. I wasn’t the happiest camper as I was uprooted from my friends and had to go to a new school at a pre adolescent age lol. We did travel every single weekend to go to a different national park and/or to sightsee. I would LOVE to do those same excursions NOW when I’d actually appreciate them lol. (Not in 5th grade and irritated about being in a minivan with my brother/bickering) in close quarters weekend after weekend lol
I really like this roll you created. I love it being so colorful. A journal with your snippets on every page sounds wonderful to me. Maybe I’ll do that when I get my craft room back. In May of this year our 80 foot oak tree was caught in a wind shear and fell on top of the length of our home and we had to move into a hotel. We were there for 6 months while our son wrestled with insurance and bank and got a good contractor. When the roof and rafters were finished they started the inside. Eventually my son asked that they finish mine and my husbands bedroom and bathroom so we could finally come home. My husband is in poor health so it was a joy to come home. This month the rest of the house is finally getting done and I will be able to move my stuff back into my craft room. I am so anxious to try some of your wonderful ideas!
@ Oh my gosh Joy! I’m so sorry to hear all of that! That would be so so difficult! I hope you can get crafting soon as well and back to some normalcy. ❤️
