    Gorgeous spot. Nice drone footage. Pretty remote place to get to. Which makes it even cooler.

      Thanks SO much for watching and commenting. This REALLY is remote which we agree, makes it all the better! You have to check it out if you have a boat!

    It's a good thing one of you has excellent hand eye coordination that coincides with no fear. Loved the solar oven on your friends' boat. While it's been more than 20 years ago, I once taught a unit where my students made solar cookers. We roasted hot dogs as the culminating activity. Of course, some were more successful than others. Ironically, many of the designs were quite similar to this actual oven. Although, it appears this one has been perfected to be able to cook almost anything your heart desires. (This also made me think about Jim's environmental class.) Do I see one of these ovens in y'all's future?

      HA HA HA! The solar oven is VERY cool. We had that solar cooker unit too when I was teaching AP Calc/Physics. It's a great project!! When I taught that unit, things like this oven didn't exist....at least not at the consumer level. Our friends know how to use it to perfection. The banana bread was amazing. Def not getting one...we have a great toaster oven for this very thing that doesn't depend upon the sun! LOL

    Glad you met up with your buddy boat friends .I wonder how many are out there that bought a charter and upgraded it to liveaboard ? And how do the boats hold up ? How often are repairs needed? But back to that amazing vlog ,thank you,those vista's of blue water ,Wow That spot Brown was sitting at all alone,i first thought it was a shark in the shallows ,but then the drone got closer and he was just absorbing the universal beauty and peace ..looks like a place we all could do with a few hours of daily ..that sun oven looks interesting too.

    • @SailingBlownAway
      @SailingBlownAway  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Thanks for watching and commenting. I think a lot of people buy out of charter and convert to liveaboard. Ours has held up well and frankly we don’t have any more issues than friends who bought new boats. We repair as frequently as them and in some cases less from what I see. We had 5 years of shake down. But I don’t know if that’s just our experience! Wasn’t that drone shot of B in the middle of the bay so cool!? It was a gorgeous place..one to really appreciate the beauty of the area!!

    Definitely going to go there! Praying for it right away!!! After 7 months, what are your recommendations, Do"s, Don't(s), what to take care and where would you recommend anchor? Etc... How many days and what was your itinerary? LOVE your videos!!!

      Thank you for your comments and for watching our videos! Shroud is amazing. All the islands in the Exuma park are amazing though. One is more beautiful than the next. We traveled up really quickly through the bahamas due to having to get North of NC by 15 June. We spent 6 months in the Bahamas this season and could come back another 5 years and not see all we want.
      I am not sure of your question about dos, don'ts, and taking care? We love our Mantus anchor. It's 85lbs and we would not trade it for anything. Thanks again for your comments.

      @@SailingBlownAway Hi and Thanks for your replies. My questions are related to what you (experienced sailors in Exumas) would recommend to us who are visiting for the 1st time. What to prioritize, suggested routes and which ones to avoid (hazards, or challenging routes). Thanks Again for your time uploading great videos and replies to messages!
