Nice! There was a band in the early 90s. It had Tommy Shaw, from Styx, and Ted Nugent in it, great guitar work The band was called Damn Yankees. I think you'd enjoy the music (and maybe a cover?)
Great to see a Styx cover. FYI, Styx has 3 songwriters and 2 lead guitarist. And they usually only have one lead guitarist per song, and they play differently. So they have a LOT of variety. And if you go back far enough, you will find a third lead guitarist, who left the band due to health reasons. So if you're looking to expand your guitar and bass chops, Styx is worth spending some time on. Oh, And their original bassist, Chuck Panozzo is as solid as they come. AND not boring to cover.
I have no complains anymore, just mad respect for those bends and that feel, smooth chord changes and a dash of envy that my own guitar progress was not as smooth. edit: OK. Maybe the tapping could be even better. I am a feeling abit envy regardless.
