Gotta give praise for modern cosmetic surgery tho, amirite? Vincent here is so lucky! I mean, look, they perfectly rebuilt his ear, like you can't really even tell it had ever been cut off!
Im 147 pounds and im 5'6 but mostly i have heavy bones but i do not give up i do practice and i have no fear nothing scares me and i have strenght but for pull ups my max i can do is 6 but i do exercise
Beginners ..just want to remind to be careful during pullups since I just pulled my left neck muscle yesterday...weird thing is I have done them before..but yesterday I was going for 2 reps (still a beginner)..people say to ensure to tuck your chin..i think i was looking upwards while doing it..anyways thanks TappBrothers for making this video : )
For any of you feels like they’ve been doing exercises but don’t see any improvements. I just wanna say that you shouldn’t stop doing the exercises because when I started my pushups I didn’t see any improvement until the the next week or so(can’t really remember because it’s been kind of long already). Back when I started,I went with 3 sets of 10 pushups and I struggled like crazy to complete it. Worst part was I lost motivation to do it because I didn’t see any improvement during that 1 or 2 weeks. But I kept going anyway hoping to have some improvement and so I did. Nowadays 10 pushups is nothing to me and I’m doing 3 sets of 20 pushups. It took me about 4 months to get there (took so long because I had improper technique and I was constantly losing form when I was doing it as I get tired). So don’t give up because you think your not getting any gains from those exercise. It really helped me out to get over a wall and it had never felt so easy in my life to just push that body up the wall. I hope this message motivates and maybe get some of you back to exercising. Also I started doing pushups because of quarantine so I thought might as well keep on doing it.
Thank you. I am going to try them today. I am a very beginner. Update: I tried as he recommended starting from the most basic movements. The one that I had the problem with the most was the wall dip because I couldn't lift myself up that way. There was also no room for me to use my feet to help lift myself on the wall that I could practice on. I am thinking of using the plyoboxes at the gym as a substitute until I have more upper body strength. 🤩
Yes, burpees are high intensity. I would recommend following the same protocol of 3X per week. If you wanted to put the two workouts together. I would perform this upperbody workout. rest for 5-10 minutes grab some water and then perform your burpee circuit that same day. Rest or perform less intense cardio exercises on the days in between.
+TappBrothers Guys you have really helped me and I am really grateful. I've seen great muscle increase, I have started a bit of parkour and I generally feel better so I would like to once again thank you and say that you're doing a great job.
Yessss thank you so much for this video! I've been figuring out the best way to work on the upper body but it's hard when I can't do a full pull-up yet. I'm implementing this right away. Thanks again for this video!!

Thank you. I did Oly lifting and tore out my right elbow tendon, and I've been evaluating how I want to get back my strength. Like you said, this might get me out of trouble. Pull ups, dips, and push up, thank you for an upper body routine!
Connor Martin well..... you dont need a obstacle course. Your environment is your obstacle course. You can try to put some like paddings on your practise area if you are really comcerned about safety.
Yeah, the thing is, for me there is like nothing to do stuff on. I need to walk like a block away from my house before I can find something I can vault, and vaulting is probably my favorite thing to do. So, I can do parkour without driving for 5 minutes, but just not the stuff I want to train.
I've always been told by trainers to practice movements as slowly as possible to make sure you're not relying on momentum at all. I understand that you also need to practice explosive motion bc it's what would actually happen during parkour, but would you recommend practicing both slow and explosive versions of these movements?
More Parkour Strength Training videos! They are a great compliment to the technical how-to's. My lower body is is strong, but could be more supple. My upper body is both weaker and also tight. This is just my first video I've seen of you. Going to have a look for more strength (core, etc) and stretching videos. Thank you.
This is what bodybuilding is all about. If there were more videos like this in it wouldn't be in the state it's in today. Kisel bodybuilding truly inspires me to take my bodybuilding journey to the next level after watching this. Much respect!
Dude, just take baby steps. Do knee push ups, then regular push-ups, then dips, and finally pull-ups. I followed this progression for 6 months, and now I can finally manage a muscle up
My body is so weak , I cant do even 1 push up how can I get started with this ? Edit: 3 years later I can do 40+ push-ups and I have a lot of muscle in my body now. Thanks for the tips!
Suck my nick WOW I've never practiced push-ups in my life but I can do up to 35 push-ups nonstop! I got an A+ on my push-up test!!!!! Everyone was like "WTF SHE'S WAY BETTER THAN A LOT OF GUYS AND SHE DOESNT EVEN LOOK STRONG) Good luck, I hope you improve your strength:)
I had that issue once. It was really bad. I had pretty much let my body die over the course of like 2 years of inactivity (I believe that was in my preteen years). When I started trying to get stronger, I couldn't do jack shit. I would try to do a push up, and I couldn't even lift up *at all*... as I pushed with all my might, it felt like my brain was going to explode, and my arms would just give out. I was determined though. So every day I would lie on the ground, with my arms holding me up, and the rest of my body on the floor, and I would slowly drop my chest down to the floor. After doing that for awhile, I was able to continually build up enough strength to end up being able to do ten push ups from the knees, and then finally after about a month of hard work, I was able to do push-ups. I started out with 5 push-ups a day, and every week I would add 1 more, until I got to 21.
Question: For the last year, I've been suffering from medial epicondylitis in my right arm. A video with tips on how to rehab / avoid re-injury would be great.
If anyone thinks they cant do parkour because of their age or gender... They can do it no matter what age or gender... just do not push yourself too far... its good to push past your limits in parkour... Just be aware of what moves or jumps or any vaults you are doing!
+Zavy Purvis Thanks Zavy, here are a couple of videos that will help you with your landings - Parkour academy - how to land - th-cam.com/video/31IM_PRHoeg/w-d-xo.html Parkour landing tip - become a Ninja - th-cam.com/video/fqyDgW-2fcA/w-d-xo.html
Excellent video, very helpful. In conjunction with Dips or as an exercise excellent for preparing to accomplish dips and or pushups is an exercise we simply identified as Backarms. Example: Sit in the floor with your back against the couch, legs extended out while planting both hands/palms on the couch edge and push yourself up isolating your triceps. To increase intensity you can place a weight in your lap and or elevate your feet. Thanks for another great video men!
Thanks for this amazing video i hope it well help me am 20 years old and i wanna start this art for real but i dont have a good environment to train so i hope you help me alot to use whats around me tp train. Thanks again
Right this may sound completely off the subject of parkour but I'm joining the army after I finish my GCSEs but I'm trying to improve my upper body strength so if you know any helpfull ways that I could use to improve my upper body strength then please let me know also amazing videos guys keep up the great work 👊👊👊👍👍👍
A great great great video. That was the video I was waiting for. Can this workout can help me out for my front handspring. The tutorial on Front Handspring was great too.
+Malik Mubariz This workout will help with upper body strength, specifically for climb ups. Now if you want to focus on strength for your front hand spring I would reccommend - handstands, handstand push ups, wrist lifts, ab rows (core strength) and back bridge stretch for back and shoulder flexibility
I don't know how Vincent Van Gogh does these. He's so talented
Nice one dude

1 . Dont be fat
2 . Make sure you can do some pull up
3 . Have no fear
4 . Practice
5 . Never give up
Yep
Hell yeah

S.H Lyrics ok number one he never said how much pull ups and now im 135 pounds
loved the way you said "they are gonna drag your ass down"!
Yeah you liked that, didn't you?, you litros bitch
Hell yeah
I'm not into parkour, but I am an aerialist (which requires a lot of upper body strength) and these are great for that! Thank you. :)
Aryanto Karnali ok thx I do seven in a row am a kid still hard
Tucking chin in? That's some BS myth.

Almost 40, out of shape, I want to do parkour. I'm gonna start this conditioning work now so my body is ready by Christmas.
haha!! "you won't get away, there just gonna drag your ass down" XD
second thing is "it looks pretty embarassing too" i died XD
Its true do
Thank you. I am going to try them today. I am a very beginner.

Good job keep up the progress 👏🥷
Are these things you can do everyday or do you need to rest a day in between?
+Coty Lee Perform this workout 3 times per week, rest 24-48hrs between each workout for best strength results. ;)
Cool, does this go for other workouts more meant to cut fat like burpies too?
Yes, burpees are high intensity. I would recommend following the same protocol of 3X per week. If you wanted to put the two workouts together. Connor Martin well..... you dont need a obstacle course. Your environment is your obstacle course. You can try to put some like paddings on your practise area if you are really comcerned about safety.
Connor Martin walk outside

why not do both? don't limit yourself to one. i recommend isometric exercises of all kinds also.
explosive movements is kind of the essence of Parkour though. Not saying raw strength is bad but momentum is kinda what makes most things possible

Start a push up with your hands on a higher place (table etc.), then work your way down to the ground.
