- LEGO Speed Champions has been a favourite of mine for a long while, and my previous Speed Champions video showed me that a-lot of you agree! So let's take another look into some more Speed Champions sets that are incredible! Although at the end of the video I will be showing a Speed Champs set that I believe will be one of the best releases in a long time!

By far and away my favourite theme. The new 8-stud format facilitates the best building techniques in Lego's history. I was so inspired by the work the designers do that I created a moc with instructions just to see what I could come up with. Fantastic stuff.
I'm waiting for Porsche reincarnation in 8-stud series. Current releases are very disappointing. Only Audi Quattro looks attractive for me. G-Wagon is WTF-looking model, AstonMartins are literally copy-and-paste set, BMWs look creepy (may be I'll buy it because of my biased relations with this brand)
@@deletedchanneI I get your perspective. I'm in it for the building techniques primarily, because I'm not a car guy. That being said, I can see why the latest wave is disappointing. The BMW set is painful to look at, despite the best efforts of the designers. I do love the Lambo though. Then again, that might be the sci fi fan in me. The model I built was a replica of the Spinner from Blade Runner 2049, after all. Those blue headlights are gorgeous.
What have you created a moc of? That’s super cool that you were inspired enough to create more though!

Lego needs to remake some of the past 6 studded models, especially the Porsche 911
That they really do! And a new updated GT3RS would be a treat 🙏🏽
The problem about lego cars is that the first of these sets have only 1 seat which makes it cartoonish, so lego then made two seater cars which were too big for minifigures to be scaled.
These wrenches were included in these sets because they are used as a tool for us humans to remove the wheelcaps so we can switch the other set in.
Without the wrench the rims are pretty hard to take off. So it’s more a real life tool for us than an accessory

Yup that Ford GT is iconic, but I don’t think the LEGO set does it justice. Have you seen the MOCs and rebuilds of it on rebrickable though?!
When I was looking at some images of this set, I did come across a lot of the MOCs and they’re absolutely incredible! People are honestly so creative.
The wrenches on the sets are there because with the wrench you can take the rims off of the wheel, normally a lot of sets comentari with diferent rim variations that you can change, and with the wrench you can do it.
That’s actually pretty cool to know. I didn’t think there was an actual reason to have the wrench, I thought it was just a cool accessory to have!
Picking up the 76935 from Argos when i finish work this afternoon. Wife and son over her mums for the night so I’ll be sitting down relaxing building tonight with no interruptions.

I recently heard that the wranch is included so that you can swap the rims more easy. The flat halve goes between the spokes.

I always thought the bronco r and gt were sorely underrated. That set still impresses me.

I like the 007 DB5.... and the Audi Quattro Sport... and of course the McLaren F1 (happy they made it orange)
All great sets! I am also glad they made the McLaren F1 orange. It just had to be!
Noting how tiny alot of cars from the 1920s-30s are, the Model A Hot Rod might actually be able to scale with current speed champions sets
That’s a really good point! Perhaps Lego were smarter than we thought when creating that set. Good observation!
And the Ford Fiesta and Mini cooper. Smaller but it makes sense

The F1 sets are cool, but are extremely repetitive, I agree 100% with this.
I cannot wait for the new sets of the 8 stud variety because I LOVE speed champions sets and I want a lot more sets from that line

the wrench serves a purpose to remove the wheels off of the piece holding it together. That's why they're in all current speed champion sets edit: ive looked 2 comments down and saw someone already said this :v

The new speed champions are cool but these days they don't come with any play features like for instance the mclaren Senna came with a fan, but the mclaren elva was just the car
Yeah it seems like they’re focusing way more on the detail of the vehicle itself now. Which is a good and bad thing at the same time!
They need to make a 8 stud dodge Challenger srt demon
Sticking with that theme, they also need to make a Jeep Trackhawk!

@@alboneta7821 I posted this video on the Saturday and the leaked photos came out 2 days later. So that’s why I had AI photos. I wouldn’t have used AI photos of the actual photos were out.

I couldn’t agree more! Definitely one of the best Lego themes!
The thing that makes me rage about these sets are literally the stickers, I have no patience on doing this and I keep messing up, then the stickers are an unfair move that if I do remove it, it would be ruined and why not make printable bricks instead? Stickers decay real fast.
If you know me, you’ll know I’m also not a huge fan of stickers, and I agree that they’re so hard to put on. Essentially one mess up and they’re ruined. I’ve heard applying them using a small set of tweezers makes it a lot easier, will have to try that out myself!

I always thought it was just a piece that was pointless, but now thanks to you, I’ve learnt something new!

Thank you for such an entertaining and enthusiastic video. ALL of the cars are wonderful. Just one disappointment is the kit #76904 - the Top Fuel dragster and purple 1970 Challenger. The rear wheels on the fueler are definitely too small. I purchased this kit after it had been discontinued and paid a pretty penny for it. I'm still very happy I bought it but those rear wheels are out of place being not to scale. Thank you again for a great video. (Liked and Subscribed). Best wishes.

Haha thanks! I enjoy watching people talk about unique and interesting Lego sets and features so I tend to research into the same myself. Hopefully you guys get as much enjoyment out of these videos as I do creating them.

Haha yeah. It does seem off doesn’t it? But like you say they build them with bricks so what do we expect 😂 although an 8 Stud version of the Chiron should and would have so much more detail!

8 stud version shud be better compared to the original shape but i feel it should also be around 2-3 studs elongated

I did say it was AI generated, it’s just what I think it might look like. The Lego set themselves isn’t fake as they’re rumoured to come out in August.

It’s a rumour, but from the same source that rumoured every Speed Champions set that has already released this year. So it’s a credible source. Essentially the F40 and ZL1 will be released August 1st. Have a look online, there’s a lot of websites also saying the same thing.
Lego start to copy chinese mocs that's really frustrating ,last time I buy Bentley SUV on ebay,1800 pieces for 50$ ...It is one of biutiful car with chromes peaces for only 50$ and It wasn't invented by Lego...Now Lego sells mocs for very hight prices .....
Now you mention it though. A Bentley SUV would be an awesome set!
