I have a question about the feet replacement on the Valencia theater seats. It looks like you did not reuse the existing feet from the wood-framed portion of the theater seats, but instead replaced those with the buttkicker feet +purchased machine bolts+existing feet from the steel frame as a spacer. Where did you get the extra steel frame support feet from?
I understand the company manufacturing these Valencia seats also has the option to customise the seats to include butt kickers. Just wondering if you considered that option and if so why you went the self-install route?
I had one on another couch but had to do the under the leg mount. They are far too large to put inside most theater seats. The overall effect was about the same as two minis.
For most people yes. But it also depends on the seat and placement. This setup, yeah 1 would be awesome. 2 is just....more. And you have more headroom. Same as subs.
And you also lose all the tightness and immediate response. Great if you just like some motion effect, horrible if you want it to blend seamlessly with your subs.
I did try to the frame couple times , I even had two LFE mounted in a push pull configuration on the frame running on a QSC DJ amp in the basement under the floor , me and my friends are all over this we love it some couches you have to do what they want. Running full range to boot i have serious torque on some tracks , the coutch moves, I have double vision .
The buttkickers have those 2 slots on one side that allow for vertical mounting on a vertical surface. Couldn't you just mount them vertically on the back ground level wooden beam of the chair with less work?
@@COGuyStuff one final question. I'm thinking of buying a buttkicker advance or mini for a sectional I have. The "min power of 50/75watts". Does that mean that for quieter parts of the soundtrack, that require say 40watts for example, the transducers won't activate at all? Can it give a gradual decrease in output to zero?
With any tactile setup, the seat(s) need to be decoupled from the floor so they can wobble and 'float' to an extent. Otherwise the energy from the tactile device(s) tries to transfer to the floor and some is wasted.

Curious. How did you disconnect the metal clamps to seperate the seat from each other?
Just rock the one without the arms, forward and back a couple inches, the pegs slide out
And they aren’t even needed. I haven’t used them in over a year. The seats don’t go anywhere when you are using isolators.
Supa cool... one day ONE DAY I’ll be hooked up lol 😂 🤣😜
Yeah.. one day lol

The types installed from the factories are bottom of the barrel in performance.
Did you ever consider getting the big buttkicker LFE instead of running these 2 mini versions?

Hello, would one of the mini butkicker be enough instead of two?

Out of Curiosity why do you need two base shaker for each seat? Are they that weak that you need two? Or are they for different frequencies?
You don’t need two. But more is better :)
To the springs , you get momentum , I tried it all kinds of ways springs are best

No because that’s just a cosmetic part it’s not solid enough to the frame for great results.

No it just means you will never get the full effect. They like a lot of power
What amp are you using?
When I had these it was a behringer nx3000
@@COGuyStuff What’s setup do you have now?
Crowsons and a nx6000
@@COGuyStuff You don’t worry that the amp doesn’t go below 20hz?
Lol uh, yeah it does. Don’t make assumptions because you read some marketing on a website ;)
Why replace the feet?

🤣
